Mufasa and Family

Mufasa with his brother scar led their family through a meadow in which they had so recently placed a claim on the land. The scents were of canine but they were so old that Mufasa was sure it was vacated for one reason or another. So he sat down and began roaring and so did scar calling out to any left in the area. On their way here they had crossed many bounderies and found it strange that many different species were coexisting with each other.

Sarabi who was the oldest female in the group as well as just the oldest. She followed closely behind the two males and her two 8 month old cubs were running by her. Ryojo and Ryak.

Nala was eight years old and the mother of the oldest cubs in the pride. She wasn't far behind her mother. Mufasa wasn't her father nor was scar though. Seeing as they were younger then her. Jasmine and laya were right behind her

Natalia was right by her sisters side with her cubs Shakla and Mark trying to bite Jasmine and Layla.

Shayla and her sister Chantel stuck close to each other. They weren't related to any of the older cats here and they both had a set of cubs. well three in combination.

Ulaya had five cubs and was also aunt to Mwaya who had six cubs.

Mwaya was the youngest adult in the family group yet she had six cubs and it would of been a problem if she didn't have such a good group of females with her.

Sideskill

Lions The hybrid thought to himself upon hearing the roar from the lead males roll across the vast land. For two years now, Sideskill and his brother had been roaming the Croal Mountains on their own, sticking to their snow leopard blood and making the steep, snowy terrain their home. But the lion in them responded strongly to the call of their kin, and when Sideskill heard their roar, he couldn't help but go investigate. After all, it had gotten lonely - not to mention boring living mostly by himself, with only his brother and the occasional visits from his children to keep him entertained.

Lacking the lion's mane, other than some thick fur around the base of his head and neck, Sideskill retained a juvenile appearance that was otherwise mostly lion-like, aside from a slight broader, shorter face, and thicker, heavily furred paws. Well, and the rosettes that decorated his legs and sides. But mostly, the five-year old took most of his appearance from his lion father. And now he used a roar to call out to the pride, letting them know he was at their boarder, and interested in joining them.

Mufasa and Scar

Mufasa and scar had been going around the territory leaving their scents by scent marking. The females all sleeping within some brush with the cubs. The brothers nearly never seperated and this was no different as they brushed up against each other. Then they heard the call and first they released their own roars right back at the lion or so they thought he was pure lion.

The two picked up a lope as they moved toward the one one their boarders. They could tell he was a juvenile or at least thats what he looked like but then they noted to rosettes on him and figured out that he was a hybrid of some kind. However; that didn't faze the two as they moved toward him.

Mufasa reached him first as he sized the other up and made it clear of his position. Hello , I am Mufasa and this is Scar. What can we do for you?He spoke.

Scar slowed and came up beside his brother.

Sideskill

The first thing Sideskill noticed was the size of the other males - they were larger than him, by a good deal. The hybrid was plenty strong, and superbly agile, but he was not the powerhouse that Mufasa and Scar were, and would never be. Cautious but baring a friendly, outgoing attitude, the lion-mix addressed Mufasa, "I'm Sideskill. I heard your roars a while ago, and well, to tell you the truth, I've been missing the company of other felines for a while now. My brother and I use to be a part of a larger pride, but... well, to make a long story short, a lot of them got sick and died, and the whole group just kind of split up." The feline sure could talk and ramble on, once he got started, "We've been mostly on our own now for two years, and it's kind of lonely. And boring, to be blunt. And... well, I was hoping I might join your pride?" Deep orange eyes flickered from one brother to the other in a hopeful light. "Oh-" Sideskill piped up a second later, "My brother will probably want to join too, if you have room for both of us? We're both great hunters and fighters."

Mufasa & Scar

Mufasa was confident in his power let alone his brother was with him. They fought together always. He listened to this male and glanced at Scar before responding. You are more then welcome to join us but the real test will come when you meet the pride females. I will warn you they all have cubsHe said calmly. He knew the females were protective of their cubs.

Sideskill

Poor Sideskill, living with the Ancient Guardians had not prepared him well for what life in a real lion pride was like, or that females could be downright hostile towards new males at first. "Thank you both." What Sideskill did have was manners and respect, most of the time, as he showed by bowing his head. "My brother is Sundown, by the way. He's a great fighter, too - not that he'd fight you guys, I mean. He's not really the leader type anyway, but he and I make a pretty good team when it comes to protecting our own." And it was true - neither of the brothers were the kind to challenge Scar and Mufasa, as neither of them really had a desire to rule a pride. But what they did have was loyalty, and plenty of fight in their blood. "Cubs, huh? Don't worry, I'm pretty good with cubs." Obviously, the ruddy-coated male had no idea what might be waiting for him if he thought he could walk right up to the pride's cubs.

Mufasa

HE listened to him and turned to begin walking back to the rest of the pride. AT the words about cubs he actually laughed at him.Im not worried about the cubs reactions to youHe said. Yes the males were the cubs main protector but females could be quiet nasty even if others didn't mean any threat to the cubs at least Sarabi, Nala and Natalie would attack to give them a good warning and he didn't see reason to warn the male. IF he wanted to be part of the pride then he would have to take it and so would his brother. As he walked the pride came into view more cubs then females.

Scar chuckled as well and made it back to the females first and laid down

Sarabi was the first to notice the males coming this way and there was a third big male with them.Sure the males had welcomed them but Sarabi would make sure this newbie realized just how protective she was and if he dare step a wrong toe toward a cub. And she got up and her tail twitching she moved at a slow lope toward the new commer and when she got to him she growled and swiped at him and bit at his face in warning.

The cubs were playing till that moment.
