Nhosh & Guadalupe

The red deer entered the land, traveling through a lowland swamped with tall grasses and birch trees. Good cover for him and his friends. Once he was far enough into the land, Nhosh climbed a high hill and stretched his shaggy neck out as he bellowed deeply. The call carried far and wide over the land, declaring the domain his. Now he turned to the mares.

"There should be plenty of greens to eat here. As I've said before, my stags and I will post for danger, so you needn't worry." Nhosh slowly came back down the hill, holding his head up high. His gleaming antlers, long and sword-like, swept through the air with his every movement. It was nearly time for the rut, but Nhosh also knew that the mares should be able rest up before that came.

Guadalupe was a good deal more lively now. His lungs had all but cleared, although each breath was still painful, and his eyes were reddened and irritated. This year, he knew he wouldn't be getting any does of his own. For one, he was a bit young anyway, and besides, Nhosh and the other stags were far too strong for him to challenge.

Huyen & Wycliff

Huyen and Wycliff appeared next, heading towards their lord. Huyen made sure that the two does and Bramble made the journey safely, while Meteor took a wider route to scout for potential danger.

Velvire

The doe followed near Wycliff, though her gaze shifted to Huyen often. She was very found of him indeed. Now she stopped to gaze at Nhosh and Guadalupe, very much interested in their strange appearance. And by Nhosh's size, let alone his demeanor and voice, Velvire knew him as the lord.

Bramble

The yearling ran up beside Wycliff, feeling his spirits begin to raise a bit. This journeying and meeting new deer excited him greatly. And now his unblinking eyes were transfixed on the strange stag. His ears were perked up, awed by that loud bellow. Bramble nudged Wycliff, "What kind of deer his he."

Shadowed Promise

The mare walked slowly after Nhosh, still weak after the fire ordeal at the tall grass priarie. She was very grateful to Nhosh and free spirit for coming to their rescue. Who knows what could have happened if they hadn't.

She tossed her tiara as she came up to the little group. She was taller than them by a slight margin and so looked down at them with soft, kind eyes. She saw a fawn and smiled, she had always wanted a child of her own. She spoke to the group.

Hello everyone, I am Shadowed Promise, Your lord has let me stay here for a while as i recover from a certain incident.

Her ribbons waved slightly in the wind. She surveyed the terrain. It was beautiful. She looked back at the deer and from then her ears and eyes were ever pinned on the group.

Nhosh, Guadalupe, Huyen, & Wycliff

"Please excuse me." Nhosh said, catching a faint call on the wind, nodding politely, the stag took his leave and headed northward through the terra.

Guadalupe was in very fair spirits now as he looked over the land, "Aw, finally! Home at last. No more roaming around without a..." The pricket stopped himself, glancing appologegtically at Shadoweded Promise, for he forgot that she didn't have a home yet. "Hey, looky here!" He stated loudly, changing the subject, "Clover!" Nudging the whirls of tangled stalks, Guadaulpe took a few bites and glanced around at everyone.

Wycliff looked to the mare in awe, always impressed at their size and strange locks of long hair on their tails and necks. It reminded her of human hair, although much better than that. "Nice to meet you, I'm Wycliff." The hind introduced. She was a red deer like Nhosh, but had a condition known as piebald. Nearly 90% of her coat was white. Wycliff suddenly looked around in alarm, then spotted her adopted fawn running off, "Bramble!" She called, then shook her head, 'Pardon me as well!" She slipped past the group and headed after her fawn.

Shadowed Promise

She looked down at Guadalupe with a smile.

I know what you mean. You must be glad to be home. Don't worry, it doesn't matter, me and Night lIght will find a home eventually.

She walked over to him and nudged him with her muzzle in a friendly way. She too began to munch on the clover. She looked up and watched as Wycliff and Nhosh both ran off, along with the fawn. She was curious and so, after swallowing the clover she looked at Guadalupe and whispered to him.

Hey, what's happening? Do you wanna go find out?

She began to slowly walk in the direction the two red deer went. She looked back to see if Guadalupe would follow.

Shadowed Promise

The mare looked up as a horses cry split the air. Curious, the femme nodded to the group in a farewell before running off.
