Argolis, Lerna, & Black Feather
Gliding low over the hilly terrain, Black Feather perched himself on the branch of a young oak tree, which was about level with the wolves' height. "This is it; one of the larger herds in the valley, and a resident one at that." He informed, sounding quite proud of the fact that he knew this. With age, he would learn to temper his pride, but he was still a youngster, and quite full of himself and his accomplishments.
Argolis was much the same way, and came padding across the frost-chilled ground with his head and tail held ligh. "Yeah, I definitely smell them... yeah, this is the spot." He said, black nose twitching eagerly.
"Thank you, Mr. Obvious." Lerna quipped in good nature. The area possitively wreaked with the odor of deer. "I think we'd have best luck using our eyes and following the trails." The chocolatey hybrid pointed out, getting down to business.
"I was going to say that next..." Argolis mumbled under his breath, trying to nurse his own brusied pride. But he too got more serious with the task at paw. Fanning out to the side of his sister, he began to make his way over the land.
Camden & Quake
Joining his brother and sister, Camden gathered round Black Feather to listen to his information. Argolis' cocky comment made his grin, but he actually laughed when Lerna shot him down. He joined his siblings, padding alongside his sister on the opposite side of Argolis. He was now beginning to show his true height, taking his father's giant genes. His brindle coat of black and brown rippled as his muscles began to work. His head was low, ears perked for any sound of prey, nose searching for a particularly strong scent, and his deep mahogany eyes watching for any movement.
Quake chose to trot alongside Argolis, his dark brown eyes, watching his brother mutter to himself before fanning out to scout for prey. The hint of a smile turned up the corners of his mouth, but he remained silent. His long, black coat shined in the sunlight. Just like his siblings, Quake began to search for prey; they had to feed the whole Lurker family, even the extended relatives. It was going to be a long day.
Rosco; Tyree; Kazbek
Rosco was walking around, exploring the land. It was interesting with all these leaves on the ground.
Tyree and Kazbek followed the young buck around, giggling quietly.
Rosco turned around and snorted at the females. "Stop following me!" He shouted.
Tyree and Kazbek laughed and galloped past him. "Make us!" They shot back.
All three of the fawns were unaware of the danger.
Sassy & Kilamanjaro & Sprinkles & Kanguskon
Sassy wouldn't allow the fawns to far from her so she quickly followed after the three. You three stay with in the herd pleaseSHe said and then stoped head poised and facing hte way of the danger.Back to the herd now. She didn't know what it was butg something was on the move.
Kila he followed all of them.He tossed his dial
Sprinkles and kanguskon stayed by their parents.
Sasha; Rosco; Tyree; Kazbek; Everest
Tyree and Kazbek looked back at their mother and quickly ran to her. "What's wrong?" Tyree asked.
Rosco followed the others back, forming a tight herd.
Sasha came up beside Sassy, with Everest behind her. "I can smell something." She said in a grave voice.
Sassy
She nodded.Fawns need to get to the center of the herd, Stags as many that we have surrond the front and does in the middleShe said. Thats how it use to be when she was young.
Kila and the other fawns moved to the center.
Chido & Sassy
Chido soon was seen on the horizon. He came to a halt.whats going on?
Sassy jumped slightly with joy but turned seirous. There is something out there
chido then nodded and took up a spot in front of the does and fawns.
Blitz
The strange buck wandered through the forests, not knowing that he was intruding onto another's territory. But suddenly, a tree reeked of the smell of other deer. It said "This is our territory, KEEP OUT!!" He raised his head up and looked around. He wanted to be with a herd, and he felt like he was constantly in danger when he ws alone.
The frosted brown dappled stag quietly walked on deeper into the terra. He had a total of eight points, which meant that he was only about two years old. Blitz his name was, for the jagged star in the middle of his forehead.
When he came to a meadow, he froze, his nose breathing in a confusion of smells. There was that of lots of deer, danger, grass, water, and WOLVES. He scanned the herd of deer, seeing that they to had already smelled the danger nearby, for they were forming a defensive position; fawns in the center, does and bucks facing out all in a circle. Blitz stayed right at the edge of the woods, tense and ready to run...
