Seabird; Sasha; Jack; Everest

Seabird finally arrived at the Oak Prairie and called out to his ally. "Sasha! The Aspen Grove is under attack! Our allies! The Shadow Haunters are killing us! War Song is getting pummeled! We need your help!" He cried frantically. Sasha raised her head, wide eyed, and approached her friend. "I will talk to Legend and Wardell about it. They will listen to me." She said softly before turning around and trotting back to the herd.

"Legend! Wardell! The Shadow Haunters are attacking my former pack's allies!" She called out. "I think it's time we get back at them for what they've done to us."

Jack and Everest stood in front of Seabird. "I don't know the Aspen Grove," Jack began, "but I do know that I'd like to beat the Haunters up for all they've done to us." Everest nodded in agreement. "Your pack has helped us, Seabird, and I'm sure we can repay the favor."

Jewelheart

Jewelheart spotted all the other deers and knew she couldn't take them all own.Quickly she came up with a plan.Letting out a snort of her being their it was warning. If they wanted to take the shadow haunters by suprise they have to outrace her back.Taking off at a high speed her being a thouroughbred.

Seabird

Seabird shook his head and laughed. He knew they wouldn't take they Haunters by surprise and it would be unwise to assume that. He had just been at the Aspen Grove where his alpha had shouted the 'plan' out loud. "Very funny, stupid pony. You're kind of a coward." He shouted out.

Jewelheart

Jewelheart was furious.Come back to the fight and I'll show you whos stupid she said stomping her feet at the deer before racing away. She ran awhile and stoped and hid in some bushes. She planned to delay the herd as long as she could. When they came by she decided to jump oput attack and then run farther up and do it again.Silently she waited in some bushes downwind so they couldn't hear or smell her.

Jack; Others

If the horse was furious, Jack was more so. The African wild dog followed Jewelheart and growled at her. "Get out of here, you good for nothing piece of trash, or I'll teach you to keep your crappy nose out of our business!" He said angrily. Cassidy, Mark, Lady, Alex, Lalika and Aaron, all Jack's siblings, came up beside him. "I think you should leave before we rip your guts out." Jack snarled.

Legend & Others

Of the stags, there were fifteen capable of fighting. Legend, Guadalupe, Locust, Bramble, Nitro, Huyen, Silver Tail, Vint, Dipper, Quaim, Phantar, Zuk, Milaque, Quell, and Mortar all responded to the call and came to Sasha as soon as they heard.

"We will fight where ever it is needed." Legend proclaimed, as the fourteen other stags gathered around him. Their feelings were mixed, but they were bound by honor to help Sasha and her allies.

Sasha; Others

Sasha smiled and nodded. "Then let's go." She was a doe and not fit for fighting, but that didn't stop her. She'd gladly risk her life to help out a friend. She turned around and nodded to Seabird. The stag began leading the group to Aspen Grove. Everest and Meru once again followed their herd.

Jack and his pack, consisting of himself and six other African wild dogs, five oryxes, a gerenuk and a bird, ran alongside the herd of deer.

Jewelheart

Jewelheart was furious. She snaped at them trying to get a hold. Then she raced away not stopping again all they way to the battle ground.

Enkeli; Zulia; Rosco; Tyree; Kazbek; Snowdon; Kamir

Enkeli and Zulia herded the fawns deeper into the forest. Rosco had grown by now, but still didn't have his antlers. "Be careful!" He called out to the warriors.

Chido

He chose to stay behind just in case something else happened. He snorted. He may have antlers but with so many does and fawns he did not find it smart for all stags to leave.

Kilamanjaro and other fawns stayed with Their mothers.

Sassy snorted and pawed the ground.

Zak; Shannon; Viva; Stalker; Uninvited; Others

The small group of canines prowled through the tall grass along the edges of the territory. Viva was in the lead, her yellow-gold eyes searching all around. It wasn't long before she spotted the group of deer. She looked back at the pack and nodded. They'd have to single out one of the fawns. The canines scattered, making a wide circle around the deer. When the time was right, they sprang, each running at top speed toward the herd.

Zulia, Enkeli and Kipa herded the fawns closer to Chido, Wardell and the does. "Danger! Danger!" Enkeli called out, warning the rest of the herd.

The canines closed in on the deer herd, watching out for the stags. Zak, a Siberian Husky, leapt for Kamir. He closed his jaws around the back of the fawn's neck and shook. Kamir went unconscious very quickly. Snowdon stepped away from the safety of the herd when his brother went down. "Leave him alone!" He cried. Enkeli leapt in front of Snowdon and pushed him back to the center of the herd.

"We have what we came for. Let's take the fawn and run!" Stalker, a young hybrid, barked. The pack turned around and fled, Zak carrying Snowdon.

"We have to save him!" Zulia cried out. Rosco looked around, tears in his eyes. "My mother will have their heads! They have taken a fawn! Mother will not tolerate that." He snorted. But there was little the herd could do against the wolves with most of the stags away. For now they just needed to protect what they had left.

Chido

Chido saw this and immediatly went into action. He charged them his head down and antlers pointed he chased and then attempted to hit the one carring snowdown though he was very careful where he hit.

Sassy:She hearded her fawns closer to the group.

Kila,Kanga, Sprinkles they scrampeld in to stay close to the others.

Snowdon; Rosco; Kanuk; Zina

Snowdon fell to the ground next to his mother, tears flooding his eyes. "Why did they take Kamir? Out of all of us, why did they take my brother?" He cried. Kamir wasn't exactly fighting material. He was easy to spot with his mottled coat and he had poor hearing. Snowdon only hoped that they wouldn't hurt his brother.

Rosco approached Snowdon and nudged him. "Don't worry. We'll get your brother back." He said in an attempt to comfort the other fawn.

Out of the bushes came a Marsh Deer stag. He took only a moment to look around at the herd before speaking up. "I am Kanuk, a friend of Sasha. I can help you get the fawn back." He said in a blank voice. If it weren't for the sorrowful look in his eyes, many might assume that he was lifeless and had no emotions. He usually hid his feelings, for showing fear might bring trouble, and showing affection for another, he thought, would give his enemies an idea on who to harm to get him to do what they want.

An osprey soared overhead, keeping an eye on her friend below. Kanuk looked at Chido. "When the herd returns, the stags will go out and retrieve the fawn." He said, tilting his head a bit. "Zina will keep an eye on things to make sure the wolves do not return."
