Sasha/Jack/War Song
Sasha led the herd back to their territory, and waited on the outskirts for Legend. It was too bad that Nhosh had been converted. He was a good leader. Sasha felt there was little she could do.
Jack, however, wasn't so quick to give up. He would go back there every day if he had to, and bring any followers back to where they belong. He may not be strong - at least not by himself - but he was good with words. He usually assumed the role of converter or diplomat. Min stood next to her canine friend. "You did your best, Jack." She said comfortingly.
War Song walked around the territory, making sure everyone was safe.
Legend & Others
Legend was sullen as ever. He was lucky though, in that most of his surviving siblings were still with him. Others, like Skaa, were seperated from their family.
Guadalupe had reason to rejoice though; he could finally reunite with Sage and his daughter Starlit Dreamer. The melanistic stag was first greeted by Starlit, who pranced around her father happily. Sage, though, was a bit distant. She had assumed that Guad had been killed, and had fallen for another stag by now. Meru.
Sasha
Sasha kept her head low. She remembered when the herd was all together. They were all a family until the Haunters tore them apart. And now she was mourning.
Everest greeted the does with a warm smile. "We have saved many of the Almuit Rune Herd, but some were converted by the Shadow Haunters." He hated to be the bearer of bad news. He went to grazing and watching over his friends.
Meru smiled and ran to Sage, nipping her ear in a friendly way. "They're safe now." He said, nodding back to the group that had returned with them.
Legend & Others
As the herd was beginning to settle in, Mortar approached Sasha. The leuistic moose held his head down respectfully, "M'am, I was thinking... I would like to join your herd. I-If that's alright with you, of course." He added quickly.
She smiled, turning to him and nuzzling her velvety muzzle against his neck. "You are brave, Meru."
Guadalupe watched the display of affection with distant eyes. It hurt him. It hurt him that Petal and all of his other does but one had been converted. That his son, Nightshade, had been recruited by the Haunters. But, at least Sage was happy, and he still had his daughter.
Chido
He snorted nad came back in.then looked to his sister and the does.I wonder how the Shadow hedge pack is making out
Sasha
Sasha looked at Mortar and smiled. "Of course, you may join. You will be an important part of the herd." She replied in that calm, motherly voice she always had. Then she turned to the herd and called them together. "Now that we are all free, why not celebrate our freedom? How about we all go out to the Tall Grass Prairie?" She suggested.
Jack smiled and stood before the doe. "I and my pack will come, in case Devil Risen and the Fallen try to bother you." He offered, wagging his tail.
Chido
