Icefell, Glaze, Innops, Polemos, & Lysismach

Their territory was being invaded, and things didn't look good for Zaquaim and his brother Ultair.

Under the command of the brothers, the three mares had taken off. They attempted to guide the rest of the herd - Greda and Royal included - as they haded for Legend's newest home.

"Keep going! This is the place!" Icefell urged, panting hard as she guided the others into foreign land.

Royal and Greda

Royal snorted her dial fell once as she sneezed and then she continued her tail still moving angerly to and fro.

Greda still protested. Her ears flat back. Well maybe it was a good thing they were here now though for greda was entering her first season and to be away from the stallions wasa good thing.

Rasheetah; Sacrifice; Wither

Sacrifice and wither followed loyally behind the higher up Rasheetah. As they entered the land they began to stalk the horses until they were a good 70 yards from the group. Rasheetah's eyes stayed fixed on Icefell, then in an instant she took off at her quickest sprint toward the mare. Her heart racing, some of her wounds opened and bleed out a little. If she could get close enough to the horse she would launch at her back and bite her withers and neck.

Sacrifice and Wither bolted out with the cheetah but was no were fast enough to keep up with the leader. After Rasheetah's first assault on Icefell; Sacrifice and Wither took up Glaze. Wither bolted and aimed for a front leg. Hoping to handicap the horse since the majority of their weight was laid in the front. As she took bite on a front leg, Sacrifice went for the opposing hind leg. If the mare reared up her hind leg would be shredded. If she kicked out her front leg would be the victim.

Growling between bites Sacrifice barked to Greda."You are old enough to fight now! Take the last mare!" It was more of an order, and the only way they would have a chance to win.

Greda

She snorted but did as sacrificed spoke. She went straight for the last mare and reared up and lashed at her face and then spun to the mares side and attempted to bit her nape.

Royal just watched scared and confused. She backed away slightly

Sasha/Everest/Ziggy/War Song/Others

Sasha looked away from Galliant when the horses came. She rushed to the scene and first looked at her herd and allies. "The cheetah and wolves are enemies. Kill them now!" She cried out, urging her fawns back.

Everest shook his antlered head and charged at Sacrifice, trying to gore her.

War Song, the massive black bear, growled at Rasheetah. Her raised himself up, then brought himself down where he saw the cheetah.

Phoenix, the cougar, lunged for Wither.

Ziggy had arrived just after the other mares. She spun around and threw her hind hooves at Sacrifice.

Rasheetah; Sacrifice; Wither

Being injured didn't entirely help the three. Rasheetah knew all to well now to keep her ears open. And the bellow of the deer made her drop her attack and run toward Greda and Royal. "Come, run. Don't look back, head to the temple!" She growled under her cries as she tried to put up a front for the horses to make the escape. Her eyes glared to the bear that made his way to her. Where he came down she jumped to the side. But all to slow for her sprint had exhausted her. The claws raked across her hind end and almost slit her tail in half. Crying loudly she turned around with her claws and lashed out to the bears face before turning to herd the two mares away from the land.

Sacrifice found herself in the same predicament Shattered had earlier been in, but instead of being easy, the horns had punctured through her hind leg. As she tried to scramble away she felt the true dilemma: she was stuck on his antler. Giving a piercing cry for help the two faced female could do nothing but wait for his antler to snap off, or for her leg to snap off, or for herself to just die. The only, well we wont even call it a vantage, is that with the thrashing of the deers head, Sacrifice was swung out of the way of Ziggy's attack.

Wither, looking on helplessly to her aunt, could only dodge the cat's attack before ending up the way Sacrifice had. "No!" She yelped out. "Let her go!" She cried before being called by Rasheetah. She hesitated before turning and running to herd the two stolen members back to the temple. Rasheetah limped but was still able to keep a pace that would keep her out of lethal danger.

Everest

Unlike many he knew, Everest was merciful. He pulled his antlers out of the wolf's flesh, but still kept his head lowered in case he needed to attack again. "Go! Do not come back. I will not hesitate to kill you next time." He warned.

War Song growled as the cat's claws cut into his face. He chased her a few feet, just to get his message across.

Sacrifice

Standing back in shock for a moment, Sacrifice could only feel the rash of burning flesh plaguing her leg. But as the deer spoke she nodded vaguely before turning and running with a heavy limp to the temple.

Greda & Royal

Greda listened immediatly and took off at high speed.Nares flared.

Royal it took her a second but soon she followede

Icefell, Glaze, & Others

The three mares began to back up at the approach of the enemies, forming a barrier in front of their own foals. As they prepared to fend off the attackers, the resident herd came forward to repell them.

Legend, Milaque, and Quell dashed towards the fighting, ready to gore and impale the predators with their antlers. Even Lokk circled around, prepared to show that he was trustworthy. But before any of them could do damage, the enemies were retreating.

Legend was stunned by Everest's decision. "You let the enemy go?!?" The stag fumed, eyes blazing with fury, "How could you do such a stupid thing!"

Lokk took a few steps towards the stag, "Legend, he did only what he felt..."

The red deer whirled on the wolf, antlers lowered, "I didn't ask you, wolf!" He snorted.

Lokk lowered his eyes to the ground, keeping his posture low. "I appologize."

Before Legend could round on Everest again, Milaque stepped between the two, "Lets not fight eachother here, ok? The enemy is gone, and we're all safe now."

Legend narrowed his orbs, shaking with fury, "I sure hope you don't pull a stunt like that again!" He fumed, glaring at Everest, "Because they sure won't return the favor."

Everest

Everest shook his head, glaring at Legend. "Yes, it would have been much wiser to let the wolf stay here. That way she can feast upon the flesh of your children." He shot back sarcastically, although his voice was very calm.

War Song stepped in to settle the fight. "Silence!" He growled out, swinging a paw at both of their heads. "Although it may not have been a wise move to let the wolf go, Everest makes a good point. There are fawns and does here. And how are we going to save the Almuit Rune Herd and hold captives?" He looked at each of them, letting them ponder his words.

Legend & Others

Legend shot back the glare at Everest, "You should have KILLED her!" He raged, feeling his blood boil with anger, "I ought to skewer you.." The stag said, lowering his head and pawing at the ground.

Milaque aided War in keeping the two seperated, "What's done is done, lets forget it." He looked from Legend to Everest, figuring these two would butt heads later on regaurdless. "Lets just worry about saving our family."

Chido and Sassy

Chido and Sassy were getting bigger. The young buck was now half way to full size and his sister wasn't far behind. but they were still fawns because their spots have not completely been shed.

Everest

Everest narrowed his eyes. "News flash for you, friend: I'm a DEER!!!" He exclaimed. "I would have killed her if I was capable!" He was small as well, being a mule deer. And he believed there was no way he could have killed the wolf.

Chido and Sassy

They were white tail deer and would get larger. He stopped at the arguing. His ears went back not liking the arguing.

Sassy she just watched.

WARDELL & Fleat

Wardell had somehow arrived too late, and already the enemies had retreated. Snorting, his eyes landed on the arguing deer as his auds swiveled, forever taking in the words. He quickly bellowed out, stomping a fore hoof down into the dirt. "Stop this arguing! It's getting us nowhere," he stated with an authoritive tone and strong, giving a powerful snort. Order had to remain in the herd or they would surely get nothing accomplished.

Sorean and Nocturnal

The mare and foal had slipped into hiding when the predators had stormed the herdland, and as Icefell and the others began to retreat, they did aswell and had followed their herd mates to Oak Prairie.

Breathing heavily, Nocturnal had run behind the barrier of the mares and allies to stay away from Rasheetah and the others.

Sorean had taken a place on the mare barrier, but as quickly as they had come, the Haunters left. Sighing in relief, the Andalusian relaxed.

Nocturnal, a Friesian filly, shuffled closer to Blackberry and in a quiet voice, she whispered, "Are they gone?"

Sasha/Rosco/Enkeli

Sasha looked at the fighting stags, but kept her mouth shut. Wardell seemed to have this one.

Suddenly, a small, oddly-colored deer burst out of the forest. She was white with brown spots. She must have been quite a sight to everyone who saw her. And aside from being piebald, her legs were much shorter than most. This made it harder for her to flee from danger. So she thought it was time to find a herd. She needed protection. "My name is Enkeli." She spoke up, still trying to catch her breath.

Sasha looked at the strange deer. "Welcome, Enkeli. I am Sasha." The mule deer replied calmly, talking to the odd creature as if she was one of her family.

Enkeli smiled at the lead hind. She could tell that Sasha was the boss from the way she held her head. "Nice to meet you, Sasha. I wonder if I could join your herd? I have no enemies besides the hunters, and no friends besides you." She asked after a pause.

Sasha nodded. "I accept you into this herd. How wise you are to tell me if you have enemies or allies." She replied with a smile.

Rosco came up beside his mother and stared at Enkeli with wide eyes. "Are you a ghost? Or an angel???" He gasped, astounded.

Sasha looked down at her son and frowned. "Rosco, this is Enkeli. Please, she may want to rest. Do not bother her."

Enkeli smiled and looked at the fawn. "I do not mind." She first said to Sasha before speaking to Rosco. "I am not a ghost, nor an angel. I am different. That is all."

Rosco nodded. "Wow. You sure are pretty. And you're still just my size! Are you a fawn like me? You sure are little, but you don't look like a fawn!"

Enkeli laughed. "No, I am not a fawn. I am just a little deer." She informed, stepping closer to the group with a content look on her soft face.

Chido and Sassy

Two larger fawns then rosco soon came towards sasha their adoptive mother.Chido looked at her and snorte.dHe and Sassy were White Tailed deer.I am chido! He said and then sassy the little doe fawn twin to chido came up.I am Sassy

Enkeli

"Hello, Chido and Sassy." Enkeli replied warmly. "I am Enkeli. I believe we are family now."

Chido

He snorted and then soon began to walk way.

Sassy juststood there.

Enkeli

Enkeli looked at the two fawns, smiling. "Perhaps you can tell me more about this place, if it's not too much trouble." She was still very new to this place, and knew nothing of it.

Chido

Chido.If i could I would but i don't understand much

Sassy:Im not good with descriptions and telling people about things

Enkeli

Enkeli smiled. "Then we'll just have to find out for ourselves." She replied calmly.
