Legend & Others

As much as he loved the pack at the Mountains, he prefered to live down amonst more level ground, with open feilds and his favorite... oak trees.

The red deer was hesitant as he entered the land of his old home, recognizing in an instant the scent of someone familar. Sasha! The stag lifted his head and gave a deep bellow, calling for the leads.

Behind him, his mother stood with her newest fawn, Xuvial. Also with the group was a whitetail named Kisp, her fawn Yessival, six red deer, another whitetail, and four hybridized deer.

Sasha/Rosco

Sasha heard the call and bounded to her old friends. "Legend!" She exclaimed excitedly. "It's good to see you again. I would have invited you myself, if I had the time."

Rosco stepped up beside his mother. "I'm Rosco!" He said playfully.

Chido and Sassy

Chido followed his brother and watched the group.Im chidoHe spoke.

Legend & Others

He smiled warmly, "It's a great relief to find that you were able to escape." The stag lowered his head a bit, "Hello there, little ones." He greeted to the fawns, then lifted his head and stepped to the side, preparing to introduce the rest of the deer in his herd.

"My mother, Wycliff." Legend said first, motioning to a smaller red deer that was mostly white, with afew tan patches. Next to her stood a male fawn, bearing the same lueistic coloration as his mother, though he had more tan patches, and they were darker red in color, "My brother Xuvial."

"Kisp and her daughter Yessival." A white-tail doe and her young daughter nodded their heads respectuflly.

"Cinnamon and her son Oakberry." Two more red deer, a mother and her young son.

"Sage and Starlit Dreamer." An axis hind and her daughter; a hybrid Axis and white-tail.

"Mhadis and Phantar." An older white-tail hind and her son, who was a hybrid white-tail X axis mix.

"The twins, Alkana and Alkena." Two fallow deer sisters, looking identical.

"Caspi, Zuk, Milaque, and Quell." A red deer hind, two red deer stags, and a white tail stag.

Sasha

Sasha smiled. "Hello all. It is good to meet you." She said in her usual soft voice. "I am Sasha. You are all welcome to stay here, if you want." She wanted to jump for joy at having her old territory back. It was just like it always was. Only many things have changed. Many deer were missing, including Nhosh. She would organize a rescue mission, but only after a few things are taken care of.

She walked closer, looking at Legend solemnly. "Tell me, where is your father staying?" She asked, almost afraid to hear the answer.

Legend & Others

The stag glanced back, nodded to the others to dismiss them. Lowered his antlered head a bit, he too dropped his voice, "Just north of here. They are in a giant... cage. It's where most of my herd is from; the humans held them there like prisoners." Legend explained. Most of the herd had been from that deer farm, and resuced with the help of Kaze and her allies. "The Shadow Haunters now control it, and they use it just as the humans did." The stag snorted in disgust, shaking his head.

"Sasha, I don't think they have much time. They say several deer were already led away and never seen again." He heard this information from Pepper, the little kestrel that lived with the Ancient Guardians. It brought a pang of saddness to his heart to think about it. His good friend, Northcrest, had been part of the group led away.

Sasha

Sasha's eyes widened with worry. "Do not worry, I will speak to Wardell. We will round up a rescue party." She said calmly. "Please come. I believe I sense another deer as well." With that, she bowed and walked to where her mate and children stood.

Legend

His dark nose flickered, catching scent of a newcomer. "Thank you, Sasha." The stag said quietly, following after the doe as she headed over to greet the others.
