Sasha/Penny

Penny was the first to reach her former home, flying gracefully on broad wings. She touched the ground and looked around. It was like a battleground. It seemed deserted. She felt like she could not make a sound as she was overcome with sadness, but she soon let out a croak for any residents left.

Sasha had to close her eyes when she saw the leftovers of the war. If she had been there, if she had not chickened out and left, she may have been able to help. But now they were gone and she felt she would never see them again.

Kosa & Zuko

The two red foxes had been roaming around their land. Zuko was only a pup so Kosa stayed near but then Kosa picked up the scent of the deer and she growled rushing in the direction."What is your purpose on my land deer?"

Sasha/Penny

Sasha and Penny were not so much different. They were good friends, had both once resided here, and they both fought for their lives against Risen's mutt pack. That gave them injuries, and they were obvious. Penny's long legs were crooked and Sasha still had a broken leg.

Sasha looked at the foxes and bowed. "We once lived here, kind fox. We hope that you will let us stay here for a while, until we find our family."

Penny shut her eyes. "If there's any of them left..." She sighed.
