Tahti/Liekki

Liekki ran to the Oak Prairie Herd in hopes that he could fight in a 'war.' He saw nothing of interest here, and was about to turn around. Until he saw his mother coming for him.

"Get back here, Liekki!" Tahti snapped. "You are MY son! Do you think I'm just going to let you join a war?! You're a PUP! This is suicide!" She ran for him, snarling.

Liekki growled and stepped closer to a rocky bank by the lake. It was not much of a fall for an adult, but it would be lethal for a pup. "Stay away from me!" He snapped, "Or else I'll jump!"

"Liekki Come back here this instant!" Tahti said, skidding to a halt.

Liekki repeated Tahti words, then growled. "I am going to fight whether you like it or not!" He spat, baring his teeth.

"Fine. If that's the way you want to be, I'll stay here until you make up your mind. But you're not leaving that spot until you make the right choice, mister." Tahti said softly.

Their eyes were locked, and neither made a move.

Runi

A white borzoi-wolf hybrid slowly made her trek around. Mumbling under her breath a few curses here and there, then pausing the sniff up some tears that had collected in her eyes. "L-Luxis... It's all my fault." She whined and sat down, throwing her head back and howling painfully "IT'S ALL MY FAULT!"

If a howl could echo, hers would. But alas they don't and she soon lifted herself from the earth and began to move further on. Only to hear an argument against mother and pup. Her ears perked for a moment, "W-what's going on?" The white stalker asked softly. Blue orbs shifting from one figure to the next. "Uh, could I help in any way?" She asked sheepishly. Seeing the pup pulling a stupid move. Her move was more moronic, but still, it could endager his life.

Tahti/Liekki

The coywolf pup looked at the hybrid. "No! Go away!" He snapped.

Tahti inched closer to Liekki. "I'm sure you can be a Warrior soon enough." She said softly, then looked at Runi. "My son here is pulling a stunt and running away." She did not mention that they were members of the feared Shadow Haunters, for this might cause trouble.

Both mother and son were unaware that they had been chosen for specific jobs, and that Liekki was indeed a Warrior. "No! You said yourself that I am too young!" Liekki yelled.

"WELL I LIED!!!" Snapped the mother Coyote. "You can be a Warrior any time you want!" She sat down and stared at him, waiting for him to step away from the cliff.

Sure enough, Liekki's eyes teared up and he walked to his mother. "I'm sorry, Mom." He said softly. He then looked at Runi with curious eyes.

Tahti wagged her tail. "Thank you for your offer." She said to Runi, then walked back to the Temple with Liekki following.

Runi

The white hybrid turned her eyes on the duo and began to follow. She wondered what kind of pup would be so interested in being a warrior at so young. Then again Runi wasn't warrior material. Although she followed anyway.
