Venus and Arctic

Arctic first set foot on the land where she had been told to bring the deer of the farm near the eskers. She roared, sounding their presence upon the lands. She looked back to see if everyone had arrived safely as the pair had kept their promise and brought every single deer they could find, unharmed, back here.

Venus was bringing up the rear of the group and began to count all the deer, to make sure everyone had arrived safely.

Nhosh & *Deer*

Nhosh responded quickly to the roar, bristling out his thick, shaggy mane. Tossing his head high, the switch stag thundered towards the felines and the gathered cervidae. His eyes showed surprise at their vast numbers, but he was also very pleased with the results, for he half expected to be betrayed by the predators. "You've done a good job." Nhosh said in a bellowing voice, looking to Arctic and Venus, while the gathered deer stirred in confusion.

"I am gratified by your loyalty, though I don't know or expect you to keep an alligance to your words any more." The stag went on. He wasn't sure if this breif alliance was to last, or if the felines had other things in mind. "I'll say this though; when it comes to humans, perhaps and unspoken truce can exist between us? We seen, after all, to hold an animosity to the two-leggers."

The gathered deer began to murmur amonst themselves, totally confused about what was going on. They were thrilled by all the new scents and such, yet the sudden change in environment left them, as it would any deer, a bit wary.

Venus and Arctic

The felines listened, but did have an alliance in mind. If the deer wanted their protection, they would grant it and assist when they could.

Venus, the cougaress, stayed back as Arctic, the snow-leopardess, approached Nhosh.

The leopard nodded. Yes, We do indeed both feel the same way about the two-leggeds. Prehaps, if you want it, Me and Venus could come and assist you, should you need protection or back-up of some sort. It is up to you.

Venus nodded, agreeing with her friends speech. She turned back and smiled at the new deer, trying to reassure them, before looking back at Nhosh.

Nhosh & *Deer*

He was silent for a moment, studying the two felines with hard eyes. It strove against his very nature to see these two as allies. But he had to admit, they did manage to bring all these deer back, and in an orderly fashion. Nhosh nodded his antlered head after giving it thought, "Alright, I think that would be a good deal. We will be allies then. But upon one condition... you two must stay out of my herdlands unless you speak with me. I can't have my fawns learning to trust predators." He tried not to sound rude about it, for he was truely greatful for all their help.
