Kaze
The large white wolfess slunk through the TT, trying to stay invisable as much as she could. She didn't want to be spotted before the others got here. Slowing down to a complete halt, her muscled figure leaned back on sleek haunches. She kept low to the ground, though, not even daring to be seen at this moment. She would wait for the others first... Before anything really started happening. Snorting lightly, she kept a keen lookout for the two large cats and the other wolf, using both her ears and nose.
Lokk
The emerald-eyed wolf trailed after Kaze, keeping very alert to the surroundings while his mind buzzed with wonder at the strange deer. He figured now that he wouldn't join in with the human part, but at least he'd learn a bit and get to satisfy his curiousity.
Lokk came to rest a few feet from Kaze and crouched to the ground. "You know those two cats?" The wolf whispered, but only offered the wolfess a fleeting glance before letting his eyes rove about his environment.
Kaze
Kaze looked from Lokk, flashing him more than just a glance, but a mischevious smirk. "Ahh, nope. I don't expect you to know them, either. I am fairly new to this valley. I have already claimed a territory though, so if you ever want a home, feel free to say so. I've no members in it yet. Now, let's just call for these deer, which is what we came for for anyway. I think the cats will come here fast enough." she said slowly, but eagerly, wanting to find the black fallow. Pointing her silky maw to the heavens, she let out a long, deafening howl to whomever roamed these lands, mostly to the deer, though, but the land had the thick stench of them. She then impatiently waited for someone to come, wanting mostly the black buck. She continued sitting, keeping her same look etched on her elegant features.
Nhosh, Solange, & Meteor
A large red stag with a thick, gray mane of fur about his neck, came charging across the ground. His head was lowered as his two antlers swung dangerously through the air. Like most in his herd, he carried a bizarre feature. There were no tines upon his antler beams, which made them like a pair of 3-foot long swords rather than 'branches' as a normal deer would have.
Following at his side was a slightly smaller buck; a white-tailed deer. His antlers were unusual as well. They were filled with many more tines than they should have, and they branched out all over the place.
And a third deer followed, a touch smaller than the second and with a pure-black coat. His antlers were palmated, almost like a moose's would be. He was a fallow deer.
The three quickly spied the two wolves and stopped a few yards away from them with their heads lowered so that the deadly antlers faced forward. Nhosh bellowed to them in a deep voice, "You must have a death wish, calling for us like you did." The stag stamped a front hoof into the ground and shook his mighty head. With several hinds and two yearlings to look after, he didn't wouldn't tolerate any predators here. "Leave!" He and his two companions were on the verge of charging the two wolves.
Kaze
Kaze's eyes immdedietly shifted to Nhosh, and they squinted, her feature getting a sour look. She wasn't afraid of these deer... Measling animals, they were. She could take'em on, easily. Still holding her smirk, she spoke, still using her cool, smooth voice. "Ahah! So you must be the one we've heard about." she said, looking to the smaller black deer, but still not quite positive if it was the right one or not. "Hah, you don't scare me..." she said, muttering the word "Fools" under her breath. "We have come in search of a black falow deer, after hearing about him from a small moose; a white one, to be exact." she then said, looking from one to the other. She ignored the antlers, knowing they couldn't trouble her much at all. "Hmm, so are any of you familier with any of this? And hold your antlers. I didn't even get time to say anything, thank you." she then growled out lowly, the rumbles barely hearable. She kept her stance, remaining positive about this whole situation. Her eyes studdied the unusual deer.
Aaka*Satet*Ghost Walker
Haunted alphess trotted into the land. She passed Nhoshand kept right on going towards Kaze. "Kaze you are a friend. But you must leave. Now Kaze." Her eyes flashed to Lokk and she moved towards him "That goes for both of you" her voice held the ice tint of the winter her eyes haunted and level. She was ready to snap at any and all. Lokk was the best target since it was hard for the sassy female to snap at Kaze when she knew the female even if only a little.
Satet was after Aaka and she stood in front of Kaze. A low growl emitted from her throat. Softly she hissed "You heard Aaka. Leave now Kaze" Her eyes flashed to her friend Aaka and back at Nhosh. Aaka was an allie of Al Sheratans who was in the land now.
Ghost walker stalked in the background circling all of them the large cat keeping silent as he was wont to do. He stared hard at Lokk worrying about Aaka who had just gotten out of a fight. He could still smell blood lingering on her fur.
Lokk
Lokk lowered his head, but the rest of his body remained in a nuetral position. For a moment his eyes were downcast as he spoke calmly, "Lets be rational, we mean no harm." His emerald eyes stole towards Meteor and there was a flicker of awe reflected in the green orbs. Then he looked to Aaka, whom he recieved the threat from, "I'm a threat to no one with so many allies as yourself." Lokk remained silent now as he gazed to the alphess of the Silver Glades. He was past his prime, but not really an 'old' wolf.
Nhosh, Solange, & Meteor
A flicker of fear past through the stag's eyes but was quickly replaced by anger. Rearing on his hind limbs for a moment he pawed at the air and barked loudly. It was a call to his herd, warning them to hide. The red deer slammed his hooves back into the ground and roared furiously, "Back off, all of you! I swear, the first one to attack will be skewered!" Nhosh threatened, his eyes blazing intensely. If any of the predators dared get any closer, Nhosh wouldn't hesitate to rush forward and impale them.
Solange couldn't impale anyone with his tine-covered antlers, but he could still gore the predators with them. And his hooves, like Nhosh and Meteor's, could stamp through a wolf's skull in one blow. He backed up against his lead, facing to the side. The look on his features showed clearly that he'd fight too if anyone strayed close enough.
Meteor tossed about his head and pressed his flank against Nhosh's, but was facing the opposite direction as Solange. Catching the look from Lokk, Meteor raised his head for a moment, staring back at the wolf, wondering what was going through his mind. But when the predator looked away, Meteor dropped his head again defensively and prepared to defend his lead.
Arctic Venus
The snowleopardess entered with the cougar at her heels. She immediately spotted the little group and saw the deer that Mortar must have been discribing. With a hiss the she-cat approached them, her tail thrashing and eyes flashing wildly with malice.
Now, Now, don't get stroppy, We are here for a purpose andthen we shall leave. We have heard that a black fallow deer knows something about human presence upon these lands, we are here to find out where and kill them all.
She began to circle the deers, quite far back, futher enough to be able to jump back if they attacked.
The cougaress folloed the leopard but went to sit by Kaze and Lokk. She snarled, revealing her crimson razors but she couldn't fight as she was still recovering from a sevear injury. (She had two broken ribs from a horses hoof) She watched the deer and guesses that the one in the middle must be the leader.
It would be a mistake to attack a group of predators such as ourselves...you never know what might happen...But for now, lets try to calm down and keep the peace.
She swished her tail but remained seated.
Nhosh, Solange, & Meteor
Meteor started a bit when Arctic mentioned a black fallow, for he was the only one in the Valley, as far as his herd knew. The buck looked uneasily up at his lead.
Nhosh snorted, but there was a light of recognition in his defiant orbs, "Meteor here knows about such a place. But I wonder where you've come to know such information? And why would we trust your intentions?" The idea of killing humans was a great interest to Nhosh, but he didn't trust any predator of his kind, especially in an angry mob form like this.
Lokk
Lokk glanced briefly to the two feline arrivals and whispered, "Maybe we should show them we mean no harm." It wasn't meant as a sarcastic comment, but it still implide that they should perhaps act a bit less intimidating. Emerald optics shifted once to Kaze, thinking over the offer about a home. Feeling it wasn't quite the time to respond to such a thing, Lokk returned his vigile to the deer.
"A white moose, a yearling, told us this at the prairie." The wolf spoke, keeping his head low still and his body calm.
Kaze
Kaze's gaze then shifted to Aaka, and the other two hat came with her. She shook her head, watching her. "Now now now, you don't expect me to actually attack or plan anything for these animals, do you? I have no such inetentions, for me and these other three have come here only for some directions. I think that's a good enough reason for coming and asking. No harm done." she said slyly, not meaning for these statements to be rude or anything, but it was a point, and a pretty good one at that. She continued sitting, looking staright at the one in front of her. It was nothing like a challenge or anything, but her features still held the same look. But then she looked over to Nhosh again, then she observed the smaller fallow deer. "So, now where is this place, if you don't mind us asking?" she then asked, ears flciking as she impatiently awaited an answer. She was eager to get going, although her calm body didn't show it.
Nhosh, Solange, & Meteor
Nhosh hesitated, but he realized he was in no position to argue with a group of predators so large. He nodded to Meteor at last, "Alright, you can tell them."
Meteor stepped forward a bit, lowering his head even more to brandish his splayed antlers at the wolves and cats, "It's like... like a farm, but with deer. It's located at the very western end of the Eskers, where the sand crests meet the prarire grasses." The fallow paused a moment, looking to his lead. Nhosh nodded again, "Go on."
Pawing nervously at the ground, the buck went on, "It covers many acres; they have fences that are too high for even a deer to jump. I don't know what you plan to do, but I have to warn you, they have dogs and guns and... other things."
Nhosh suddenly spoke up, "If you do plan to kill the humans, do not kill any of the deer there! They aren't afraid of predators..." A flicker of sadness entered the stag's eyes before they flared up again with anger, "Bring any you can here. Please."
Kaze
Kaze listened intently, nodding quickly before standing. It was good enough. "Well, a deal is a deal, I soppose. Any deer we find will be brought back here. Now, I think we shall go then." she said, turning swiftly after sending the others a sly look before running off, to the Eskers to search.
Venus and Arctic
The pair growled softly before following Kaze.
Arctic shot a glare to Nhosh and his two bucks before trotting off.
