Al Sheratan*Psyche*Hidden Shadows

A large friesian stallion trotted to the land his head held high but nothing was overly threatening about him except his size. He turned and let out a cry for the two mares that he knew were following.

Psyche was the first female to appear. Her scent was of human but also of the wilderness. It was peciular but she held her head high and gazed around her searching for any of the residents in the land.

The other female to appear was Al Sheratan. She already had a home....But she wanted to support her friend in a time of need. Standing as tall as her short height allowed she to gazed around watching and waiting silently for any to arrive.

Nhosh

The stag took his leave from the others and responded quickly to the stallion that called. His firece, dark eyes locked onto the large equine and a slight worry ran through Nhosh. He remembered an encounter with a not-so-nice horse at the Prairie, and hoped that this fellow hadn't come to cause trouble.

Nhosh stopped about two yards from the three and looked them over quickly. His head was held high, but tilted forward slightly so that his 3-foot antlers pointed more or less towards the horses. He was smaller in comparison to them, so he wanted to make a silent point that he could still defend himself if need be. "I'm Nhosh, Lead of these lands. What brings you here?" The red deer grew tense as the scent of human reached him, but he said nothing of it yet. First things first; he needed to establish whether these equines were a threat to him or not.

Shadowed Promise

The mare had also sensed a new presence on the lands. Although they were not her home, she decided to investigate anyway. Her travels came upon the horses and Nhosh. She came up beside the deer to show she was here beside him should they be a threat...

Nhosh

A wolf's howl suddenly rent the air and caused Nhosh to throw his head up in alarm, "Wolves are here!" He bellowed angrily, stamping and tearing the ground with a heavy front hoof. "Pardon me, but I must take care of buisness!" Nhosh exclaimed, now seeing these horses as far less a threat than the lupine predators that called nearby. There were two yearlings in the herd, and the lead knew he must drive all dangers away from the area. Whirling around, the stag bounded away from the group.
