Auna & Snowden

The two snow leopards curled up next to each other close to the den. While Snowden fell a sleep, Auna stayed awake to clean the matted blood from her fur on the side. The bear's claws and teeth had torn plenty of gashes, but the wounds weren't serious unless they became infected. After a while her side was cleaned and she laid her head to and fell to sleep.

Dark Star

When he returned his head was dropped and his tail hung low. He licked Kana lovingly and sighed quietly, looking at the others and how peacful it was. He lifted his tail a bit, nuzzled Kana gently as not to wake her, and headed for the den exit/entrace. He then laid down at the edge, he felt if he would be protecting the den, he would be relieved of some of the greif that hung in his now heavy heart. It had lightened his spirit before when Peregrine entered the pack, but now, after his story had been told, his silent grief overthrew his emotions. He looked to the stars, he could not sleep any more tonight. The 4 or 5 hours I slept before will be enough. he thought. But then, his eyelids began to grow heavy, and soon, whether he wanted it or not, another 4 or 5 hours crept on up in slumber.

Bandit, Night, Star

Bandit and Star enter. They enter the den careful not to wake Dark Star. Bandit and Star pad beside Snowden and Auna and lye down. They are soon both asleep. Night pads in a few moments after then and lyes by Bandit and Star falling to sleep.

Kana

Kana woke up in the middle of the night and smiled at Bandit, Star, Night, Snowden and Auna. Carefull not to wake them she walked quiting to the exit of the den. Seeing her mate asleep she smiled and layed down next to him, looking up at the stars.

Dark Star

A brisk, sudden wind chill bristled the fur on his neck. He opened his eyes, and soon became aware that his mate was lying beside him, his head was sticking out, and that it was cold. Since they had fallen asleep early, the sun was not up yet when Dark Star awoke. Nyscee and Tri-Tundra slept peacfully in the warmth of the den. Dark Star was in a bit of a better mood today than last night, but being around him would still be no picnic; it was one of his off days. The first task at hand is to see Kana and Bandit and star, as well as the leopards up to Breve Ridges. I will speak with Sivinith a bit, and head back down here to accompany Peregrine and Night to the Wolf center. Tri-Tundra and Nyscee will be fine by themselves here for a while with Cooper and Death's Angel. However, I suppose I should search for Jais and Cavan soon too. It will be a long day. He left Kana's side and took the deer up to a cache, then came back down to awaken her. He gently nudged her, and licked her cheek. "You should wake up soon, we must be up before the pack to oversee the activities. If you like you may continue resting now though my love. You need your rest." He spoke softly, and added the last statement for an unknown reason. Although he was in a bad mood, Kana always brought his spirit up.

Kana

SHe woke up and smiled up at him, but she sensed that he might be in a mood. Standing up and stretching she yanwed and nodded, "no, I'm fine" she said with a smile, "did you sleep well?"

Dark Star

"Depends what you mean by sleeping well. I suppose that I had a good slumber." He streched and shook of his fatigue from yesterday.

Kana

She nodded, still unsure about his mood. But she smiled, "good" she said cheerfully. "Now, we need to gather everyone that is coming with us to the Breve Ridges" she said.

Auna & Snowden

Auna was first up, nudging her brother, Bandit, and Star. She wasn't so familiar with Night, so the cat didn't disturb him. Then she padded over to Dark Star and Kana while giving a loud, chirping purr. As she had come accustom to doing, she nuzzled against Dark Star and then Kana. It wasn't just a greeting, but also a feline gesture to show that she saw them as superior; but not necessarily her 'alphas' or ones who she was anyway ruled by. She was simply expressing in a friendly that they had power.

Snowden woke up after being nudged. He rolled onto his side and stretched out all his legs, making himself look very long indeed. His sharp claws tugged at Bandit's fur before he retracted them. The leopard then stood up and batted Star and Bandit on their heads. Unlike his sister, he didn't nuzzle anyone here.

Bandit, Star, Night

Bandit was just wakeing up from Aunas nudge and when he felt Snowdens claws tug at his fur. As he got batted in the head that awoke him the rest of the way. She nudges his brother in a playful manner then exited the den. He yipped a greeting to Dark Star and Kana on his way out.

Star awoke after Bandit when Snowden had batted her head. She yawns and streatches standing. She nudged Night with her maw till he awoke and followed Bandit out of the den. "Goodmorning." She says to everyone.

Night yanwed after getting nudged by Star and then streacthed.

Dark Star

Dark Star tries to smile to show a positive attitude, but to no prevail. He did grin lightly at Auna's rubs, but other than that, he did nothing but nod. "A good morning to you all." He spoke in somewhat of a monotone, and if you didn't know he was in a bad mood, you would think he had sarcasm in his voice. He then howled loudly, to awaken any others that still slumbered.

Nyscee and Tri-Tundra both jumped at the howl, it was loud and harsh. Tri-Tundra stretched and Nyscee shook herself, and they both crept out.

Dark Star, unsure where Peregrine was, furrowed his brow. "Has anyone seen Peregrine?" He looked around, and continued before there was time to answer. He started off speaking. "Alright, well the first thing is first. We have to get up to Breve Ridges. Tri-Tundra, Nyscee, and Night, you all stay here for a while. Once we get up to Breve Ridges, I will say hello and come back down. Since the wherabouts of Peregrine are unknown Night, you and I will look for him and then go to the wolf center to visit your mother."

Tri-Tundra and Nyscee both nodded, glad to have a whole day of relaxation on their hands. But Tri-Tundra wasn't thinking about relaxing, she thought about Jais.

Kana

Kana flinched a bit when he howled so harshly, she wondered what was bothering him. But she had to remind herself to not worry, her and Dark Star would have pups soon and she couldn't stress herself; but she still couldn't help but worry. She turned around and smiled at Auna, "good morning" she said kindly to everyone. Nodding to what her mate said she spoke, "lets be going then" she said, ready to head out.

Bandit, Star, Night

They all heared Dark Star's harsh howl and wondered why so harsh but they remained quiet. Star nuzzled Night a goodbye for she wasnt sure how long till sheed see him again. Bandit the same as well. His tail wagged as he stood next to Snowden. He was so excited to get back to Breve Ridges. Star smiled her tail swaishng quickly as well. Night nodded and smiled to youre sibling. He sat and nodded to Dark Star hearing his orders. He wondered if his mother was ok, wherever she was.

Dark Star

Dark Star nodded to his mate and the others. With a breif "Let's go!" He started to lope off. He inhaled the fresh mountain air and soon realized that the reson he was on the edge was from anxiety. He was so anxious about what was to happen in the next few days. I shouldn't make everyone else miserable for how I feel. I just need to relax. He continued on, trying to think of something to make him feel better.

Bandit, Night, Star

Night nodded a goodbye to his siblings for he knew hed see the others later and he padded out to the main packlands.

Bandit yipped excitedly He darted after Dark Star to Breve Ridges but not befor nipping at Snowden's ear playfully.

Star smiled and followed after the others to Breve Ridges.

Kana

Kana smiled and fallowed, she was nervouse to, there pups would be here in a few days, she could tell. She fallowed her mate, running beside him she sent him a warm smile..

Snowden & Auna

Snowden batted Bandit's head again after pulling his blunt little ear away. His long, feline fangs were bared in a playful grin. If they weren't on their way somewhere, he would have tackled his wolf 'brother'.

Auna padded silently behind the others, but darted off now and then in response to things she saw moving.
