CAMARIN
His name was Camarin, and he was the dark guardian. Pelt of night, he moved forth until he stood at the edge of Vestiges territory. Eyes narrowing, the male took in his surroundings, not yet entering the lands of the other male. His eyes took it all in, sweeping the landscape. It was beautiful, breath taking even. If you believed in that kind of stuff. Deeming it safe to make this place home, the male raised his black dial and let loose a howl befitting of a male of his large stature, then lowered it as his song quieted. He lowered his head and stared straight ahead, his eyes on a tree as he waited with dark patience for the other. He wasn't really a dark and cruel wolf, he was actually quite nice once you got to know him. HE was just used to seeing all the wolves in the Valley being dark, brooding, hateful even. IT sickened him. What had happened to family, companionship, love? Shaking his head, he lay down and waited. This was the position the alpha male would find him in, and it was as close as Vestige would get to Camarin actually submitting. He was, the dark guardian. Ever watchful.

Vestige was rather surprised. Lots of activity had been happening in his land. He had recently been out trying to find new members, and now they seemed to be coming to him in floods. Well, maybe not floods, but more than he could have thought of in such a short space of time. He was just accepting Moonpaw into the pack, when another howl caught his attention. Bidding farewell to the femme, he turned his attentions to the new wolf.
As Vestige neared, he noticed the scent was of a male. This made the alpha slightly cautious. The last time a male had approached his borders, it had been a summoning to war, in which he had lost one of his pack-mates. Sauda's death was still fresh in the minds of the pack. Lifting his head, and holding himself in a dominant stance, Vestige approached Camarin.
He spotted the wolf lying down, and Vestige was happy to note that for once someone actually stayed outside the land boundries. He trotted towards the black brute and stopped a few feet from him. He looked over the male, and seeing no indication of aggression, he spoke. Hello, I am Vestige, Alpha of this land. Who are you, and what is your business here?
His eyes drifted to the male and a soft smile spread across his lips, softening his rugged features. I am Camarin, here seeking a pack. Simple, to the point. He always thought small talk was a bit of a waste of time. Yellow green eyes drifted around the male, seeking any others. IT seemed fairly quiet here, a good thing. To many wolves tended to set the large male off balance. Keeping his body position unthreatening and easy he smiled at Vestige. A beautiful place you have, Senor Vestige. His voice held no spanish accent, but he had lived near humans that spoke spanish and had picked up on it as meaning 'sir' or mister' whichever.
Ah, simple, calm, perfect for his pack. Vestige didn't understand the word Senor, but he guessed it must have been something ok as Camarin seemed polite and nice. The alpha returned Camarin's smile and nodded his head. Thank you Camarin, I gladly welcome you to the pack. We're small but a close knit group and you would certainly gain a place in it. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some other business to attend to, feel free to wander and meet the rest of the pack. With a polite nod and a smil, Vestige turned and bounded back to the pups.
As the male took off, Camarin stood. His gaze drifting, he turned and began to move silently through the woods until.....
