V.estige

The wolf trotted to the middle of his packlands and let out a long deep howl. He was calling his pack, everyone to him. He was extremely hungry and not only that but he hadn't seen his pack for a while and wondered if they had left him. He had decided to call a pack hunt. He sat back on his haunches and waited.

Liseli

The white huntress was first to arrive, ready for a good hunt after being busy with pups for a long while. But the pups were finally old enough to be left in the secondary den, and so she came to the call, eager for some action. Her face held a soft smile for V.estige as she said, Hello.

Sweetbrier

The little vixen showed up next, having no luck scavenging the human areas. Her stomach was beginning to swell a bit, despite the fact that the rest of her frame was starting to grew lean and lanky. With her brushy tail flowing behind her, Sweetbrier trotted towards the two, looking expectantly to the alpha after giving them a smile in greeting.

Hidden

She was panting heavily, her black coat aiding her in making her hot. She moved forth staring at Vestige and then she glanced away, to the ground at his feet. SHe had never learned to hunt, and was very self conscious about it for she was a little over a year now and had yet to learn anything about hunting or living life. She glanced up at the male and to Liseli who was her closest friend here. She had not talked much here. She was shy and scared. So scared....

V.estige

The wolf grinned warmly as he saw Liseli approaching. Hello Liseli, How are you?

No sooner had he spoken but another turned up. With a smile just as bright as the one he flashed to Liseli, V.estige turned to Sweetbrier. Hello Brier.

He waited patiently. He knew there were only a few left to show, one being his mate, but still he waited for them, it was not a pack hunt if there was only half the pack there. His attention was caught by a black figure moving towards him. He soon recognise her as Hidden. He was not sure if the wolfess was fitting in, but he hoped this hunt would bring her closer to the pack. He smiled at her and said softly, Hello Hidden.

After waiting a couple more minutes, V.estige decided that he had better let this trio know why he had called them together. I have called you all together for something we haven't done in a while. We need to go hunting and now is the time to do it. We should be able to take down a deer or two and if all else fails rabbits would be an easy option. He knew Sweetbrier might be thinking she might not be of any use, but she would be, and if she felt uncomfortable then V.estige would let her sit this one out or they could go and hunt something smaller, however he believed her to be up to the challenge.

Something was lingering in his mind and he thought it best to say it out loud. Do any of you know where Lady is? Or indeed even Mac? I have not seen them or the pups anywhere..

Liseli

Liseli greeted Hidden with a deft nuzzle, smiling softly at the little fae and speaking low, out of the others' hearing range. Easy there, kit. They won't eat you. Brier's been here awhile now, and they haven't chewed her up yet, dear. Relax.

She then returned V.estige's smile, a genuine one spreading across her own face. She'd grown fond of this impetuous fellow. A bit unpredictable at times, but he had a good heart. She hadn't been much use to the pack since Sauda's death, but the kind male had never once turned her away. Now her smile for him was a fond one, a friendly one. She moved forward and gave him a friend's nuzzle, smiling still.

She turned to Brier, her funny little friend, who was as much "wolf" to her as anyone else. Nuzzles all around, she thought. And she bent to brush her tiara along Brier's side, gently so as not to knock the much smaller fox over.

When that was completed, her ears perked at V.estige's question. Cocking her head, she thought. I've not seen any of them in some time, I'm afraid. Though with six pups, I'd not be surprised if she were out teaching hunting lessons. And she smiled again, thinking the day was not too far off when she'd be teaching lessons herself.

He chuckled. Yes, maybe that's where she is. He relaxed, feeling now that there was no reason for Lady not to be safe.
