Hidden*Aaka

Hidden scooted closer and closer to the edge of the territory. Finally Aaka, getting tired of Hidden's terrified antics, stepped across the border. With a yelp Hidden bolted after her and practically glued herself to Aaka's side. Sending up a howl, Aaka called to the alphas. Hidden had been following her for some time now and frankly it was starting to piss the white alphess off. Aaka knew that V.estige had fought against her in the anger back at the eskers but she knew this to: Hidden had lost her brother here hepling to protect his mate and pups. If he didnt owe Aaka this favor he owed it to Hidden.

The small black pup looked around fearfully and whispered softly "What if they dont like me? What if I'm not good enough for them?" Her eyes were wide with fear as she said this and Aaka gave her a scathing look. "The only reason I dont like you is because your under my feet all the time. You will be fine Hidden now shut up." The scent of Aloysius drifted to Aaka and she tensed her body. He had killed Kachina and broken Storm Warning. That was all a thing of the past though. Aaka remembered when she had been on his side, an ally to him. Shaking her head she howled once more, calling the alpha's to her. Vestige had tried to kill her, he owed her something. Hidden had tried to protect the pups and his mate. He owed them both something. By giving Hidden a home he was doing a favor for them both.

V.estige

As Aakas howl drifted over the lands with the wind, the world became silent. It was as if the land that belonged to V.estige and Lady knew that there was an intruder in their midst. The amber eyes of the grey brute snapped open, his nose filled with the scent of an enemy and his ears catching her howl. Silently he stood and like a wraith slipped across the terrain. Not a sound was uttered as the wolf slid across the land like a shadow. Emerging from a thicket with a deep peircing growl, the Alpha glared at Aaka. His stance was dominant yet defencive. His neck was tucked and muscles tensed as he locked eyes with the Alphess. He took no notice of the pup.

Leave my land Aaka, You have no business here.

With fangs bared, the wolf fell silent. The growling ceased, causing an eerie silence to fall over the small group as he waited for the alphess to turn and leave, or she would find herself dead between the alphas jaws before she could say oops. He had a reason to kill her, one of her allies had killed Sauda, and she was one of them. If she said the wrong thing, she was as good as dead...

Aaka

Aaka smirked at Vestige and said in a voice that was as cool as the soft wind "On the contrary Vestige. I have every reason to be here." She watched him through troubled eyes a troubled smile upon her maw. "You see Vestige, I am here to make a point to you. Has it never occured to you that Forsaken did not do as he promised? He promised the death pack everything. He was slain at the paws of a friend, an ally. He would not have given you what you wanted, for Forsaken only took what he wanted then left. He was a traitor, mon ami nothing less. But I am not here to discuss that with you." She looked to Hidden who had yelped at the very sight of Vestige and was now pressed so close to Aaka that the white alphess could feel Hidden's breath rushing in and out of her with great gasps of fear. "You owe her something Vestige. She guarded your mate while you were away at war. She lost her brother because of it. She has no one left, Vestige and she cannot stay with me. Legosa will kill her." It was true that when Hidden had been younger she had been tortured by both Aaka and Legosa. But that was in the past now. Staring hard at the male she said softly "If not for me Vestige do it for the pup. Or is it that every wolf that shows up on your door step is now an ally for you have none? I can offer more then he did Vestige this you must know. I have many allies on my side and you said yourself the past is past. Nothing can be done but go towards the future am I right?" SHe took another breath and her gaze shifted looking about. "Where is Aloysius?" Aaka was not an enemy nor a friend of him. She was more on Jayashri's side of things but the female had disappeared along with Aloysius never to be seen until now.

Liseli

Liseli came to the calling, a growl hitting her kissers as she recognized the scent of one whose fault it was her sister was dead. She had left the pups at the den and came running, for she could not resist. Her eyes flashed to V.estige, watching.

Lady

Lady crept up slowl listining to the conversation. She hid in the brush surounding Aaka and the group. "Out Aaka, Get out." She said coming otu of the shadows. She looked to hidden her eyes saying to stay put and they would deside wheather or not she stayed. "Now."

Aaka

Aaka smirked at Lady and she said softly "I want your promises that you will take care of her. Vestige, to you I have done no wrong for it was not me that killed your packmate. Plus, you killed our falcon, you killed Yersinia, who had her whole life ahead of her You kill Kenyon who had done no wrong. You lost one life, Vestige, but you we lost many. Three lives. Thats your count of death and two of them you did'nt even know. We knew all of the ones that died, they were close to all of us." Hidden had been listening closely and she said softly "Four were killed on our side." She was speaking of Yukon, her large brother that had died for the sake of lady and her pups. Aaka smiled in a most devilish way then said softly "Yes Hidden of course. Now if you will all excuse me, I have a wolfess that is trying to kill everyone. Watch your backs you may be on her list." With that the white alphess turned and trotted away heading to Abamacho's territory where Kali was planning Aaka's death and the death of so many others.

Aloysious

Aloysious came as Aaka left scuffing heavily. His tri colored coat was brisk and swaying in the breeze. "Damn bitch," he muttered with a smirk. The other pups had been well hidden with Jayashri and now things were about to change. He had already alerted Rune and Angel. They already killed off Miakoda a little spy. It was time to move on and not one bit of guilt for tricking this pathetic pack right into his trap, but his stare was still. "I must be off. I don't know when I'll return and the other pups are with a friend of mine," he said softly to his so called mate and trotted off.

Sweetbrier

The little vixen was late to the gathering. It had been a while since she last scented the human hunters, and it seemed that they had altered their coarse from here. Hopefully.

Moving like a little shadow on her short legs, she scooted up behind Liseli and watched as Aaka left.

Hidden

She whimpered as her 'guardian' left her to these wolves. She knew that Aaka would trade her eventually but she had prayed that that wouldnt happen. "Please....I'm sorry" She didnt know what she was talking about but she did know that she had to stay on the wolves good sides otherwise she would become dinner. "She killed him..." She was still in shock over the fact that her brother was now gone. She turned to Liseli and said "She killed him and he did no wrong." Tears formed in her young eyes and she looked to the ground then back up. "He's not coming back is he?" She didnt know of death to well, only that it was forever. So if he was gone now that must mean that he was gone forever and ever from her life.

Lady

Lady watched as hidden started getting upset. "Easy hidden, It wil all be ok soon." she said calmer then she felt. She walked up to hidden rubbing her white head against hidden's "He is still around us even if we can't tell he is here." She smiled a bit remembering the teachings of her famialy. "I'm really sorry Hidden." she said looking at the young one

Liseli

The slight faerie stepped up beside Hidden, knowing exactly how the young one felt. Her sister was not a moon gone, and still the sharp pain rested in her heart. A low sigh was emitted as she let her soft voice flow. He will always be with you, Hidden. All those who leave us join the Great Hunt in across the sky, hunting the beast that created death. One day they will catch him, and death will end. Until then, you can listen at twilight and hear the huntsong. His voice will be there, if you listen. She often listened for the song herself now, spending her nights under the stars, listening for the voice that so closely matched her own...
