B.ORN LEADE.R

K.apu had arrived. the mature black wolf was looking for a place to call home... his home. he would be alpha male, and that was why he was interested in the Aspen Grove pack. there wasn't an alpha male. K.apu wandered patiently through the no-wolf zone, stepping catiously along the border of the Aspen Grove territory. his ears were pricked. the sunlight shimmered down gently on his thick fur, making its silver streaks flash and shine. K.apu trotted through the packless lands eagerly. he had been captured by humans for some stupid study. now, he was free. the wolf had been released far from his original territory, and that was why he roamed here. now, K.apu sat on the invisible scent border of the territory. his muzzle was thrusted into the air, and he released a long, low howl. it told of his story, and it was a friendly plea. when the huge, mixed wolf finished his song, he waited. his nostrils twitched, sucking in information of the alpha female. K.apu learned a lot. she was friendly and skilled at her position, but young and inexperienced. that's were K.apu could help. he was very experienced, and he was massive and strong. K.apu was friendly enough, too, but he could be very firm or vicious. with his tail and head held high, K.apu stood slightly. his stance said that he would be alpha. yawning slightly, K.apu awaited patiently.

kin 1/4 Arctic wolf, 1/4 Timber wolf, 2/4 unknown (wolf) shimmers Kapu is a handsome wolf. he is enormous around 200 lbs, a little more or a little less. he stands about 34" at the shoulder. Kapu's fur is a beautiful black. he has a white spot on his chest, and his fur has silver streaks in it that shimmer whenever the sun hits them. Kapu's eyes are golden-yellow, and always calm. his paws are big, his face non-expressive. Kapu has a long back, long legs, and a long muzzle. his paws are large. his fur is thick and rough in texture.
behavior Kapu is a friendly yet dominant wolf. he is wise and has good humor, and is very calm. still, Kapu will demand to have his way and be alpha. his nature is good, and he's a skillful hunter. despite his friendliness, Kapu is a vicious and relentless fighter. he knows all the best tricks. he also makes a good alpha, which is why he demands to be one. he knows when to drive on a hunt and when to let go. he knows when to charge in and when to stalk and sneak-attack. basically, he knows everything about what to do while hunting. a combination of dominant, a wonderful hunter, a fighter, a friendly advisor, and many other things, Kapu is a breathtaking wolf.

K.APU

Umay

The alpha female came sprinting across the ground, her gray and white coat rippling slightly with the liquid motion of her toned muscles beneath and the jets of wind that ran through the air. Black and tan markings on her face greatly accented her features and gave her expressions more character. Her tail and head were held high in their rightful place as she approached Kapu, slowing down as neared him more.

In her light eyes there was a hint of fascination and instant admiration for this regal wolf before her. "I am Umay, the sole alpha of these lands." she spoke out in authority, although she was sure he had already learned that through scent. As she spoke, her keen nose was picking up and decifering his own scents and information. Despite herself, Umay gave way a small smile. "You are welcome to stay in these lands."

While Umay was eager for new members at this time, she was particularly wanted Kapu now; maybe it was his howl that had so intruiged her, or the way he held himself. She wasn't sure, but she knew that she had taken a quick interest in him.

K.apu

K.apu's tail wagged slightly at the appearance of the alpha female. she looked worthy of her position. K.apu clearly liked this female; probably more than he showed. his large ears perked up as he heard her words. the massive male nodded slightly, noting the authority in her voice. he nearly chuckled. she had spunk, but she was still dominant - that was for sure.
K.apu's eyes also took in the smile. he liked this, too. it looked like they would be close friends. "hello, Umay. I am Kapu. I'd be grateful to stay here." slowly, K.apu took a step across the border. he was about to take another before he remembered part of his mission and paused. "one thing... I'd also like to be your partner." it was clear that he meant alpha male. sure, they had just met, but K.apu was hopeful that she would allow him to rule beside her. of course, if she was reluctant, he would stay low until he proved himself. placing his paw back on the ground, K.apu waited intently.

K.apu liked this female. that was clear. he had planned to find a pack where he could immediately be alpha, but that could be changed. even if he wasn't alpha, K.apu would be loyal to Umay, earning her respect and trust. when he wasn't alpha, K.apu was also trustworthy. and so he would hunt and help as much as he could. when K.apu found a friend, this was the case.

Umay

The smile on her slender muzzle now hinted with a coy grin at his last words, but it was not overdone. Her posture was still held in regal position, but her eyes softened faintly, "Welcome to the pack, Kapu. You may be my partner." Umay stepped forward to touch muzzles with him, as a sort of acceptance sign.

Now she thought, a bit regretfully, about the other male in the pack. She had flirted with him while they had eaten not too long ago. There was something about his nature that had caught her suspiscions early on and she hoped that there would be no trouble now. "There are two already residing here, but I'm sure you've picked up on their scents? The female is Lady and the male is White Noise."

White Noise

THe onyx tyrant moved from the shaddow hurt playing within his gems. Again he had been burned. He had done so much to impressed Umay. For in truth his feelings for her were great. But she had choosen another. Skull was lowered as he refused to look her in her voids as he had done to bravely minutes before. He could not live here now not with the newcomer whom had only appeared and taken away from him what he was growing to love. He could stay and fight, but he only wanted Umay to be happy. SO now he was going his brother would ne waiting for him.

K.apu

K.apu had not known that he had stepped into the middle of any little relationship. if he had, of course he wouldn't have cut in. now, faint signs of a grin grew on his face. the large male stepped fully into the terrain. he nodded once; yes, he had scented both. a male and a female, but there was no way he could have figured out their names by scent. so K.apu appreciated her telling him. hopefully White Noise wouldn't mind his taking over. K.apu's regal head and long tail lifted slightly to equal the height of Umay's, in their rightful stances.

K.apu's golden eyes were emotionless as White Noise appeared and said his good-bye. the black wolf sighed. it was bad to lose a pack member. stepping forward, K.apu spoke. "forgive me if my coming here has insulted you to make you leave." he was about to say more, but suddenly snapped his jaw shut. he couldn't keep a wolf from leaving. because of this loss, K.apu would work extra hard to find more members. unless White Noise decided to stay. no, K.apu thought to himself. it looked like the male had finalized his choice. but, even if he stayed, K.apu would work hard to find more packmates. no matter what happened, unrevealed guilt would always be lodged slightly into K.apu's heart...

Umay

Umay turned to White Noise and her stomach tightened slightly in aprehension. She had let her emotions play too fast and hurt someone and now her features showed a touch of heavy guilt and sorrow. The alphess was a young one, and her heart was too open. Umay nodded solemnly to White Noise, "You can always find shelter and a friend here when ever you need it."

Upholding her composure still, her eyes darted furtively towards Kapu, hoping he didn't think less of her for the rashness of her choices in selecting him straight away as her alpha male, while putting White Noise aside. If she had known White Noise longer, things would have gone different ways.

Xania

She stalked low to the ground..looking at the young rabbit in front of her...she postured herself in a low lying positin and leaped..bitting it's neck and trying to sufficate it...succesful she thought..she was a great hunter and could provide for whoever pack she was accepted into..

she walk along the no wolf zone..then entered..the suns warmth bursting onto her snow white coat..her bueaty showing and graciousness..she was a gorgeous young female..she could attract anyone..unless..they weren't of her chosing..

she walk in and let out a long howl, signaling that she wished to join the pack..

she walk near the alphas..summiting to them..to show she was not here to fight..her gleaming stomach glistening in the rays of sun..but if she wished..she could become alpha female..if it came down to it..if they thought she was weak..they would be wrong..and would fight..

but she lay there hoping for acceptance...her bueatiful blue eyes sparkling at the blck male..she was drawn to him in a strange way..but nerver the less..not hers..

Umay

Seeing the other fae, Umay's attitude changed slightly. Her body stiffened and her head came up more. Yet she was pleased with Xania's submission and knew that the pack needed members right now. Umay stepped over to the submitting fae, showing her dominance more as she looked down at her, "I am Umay, alphess of this pack. And this," she nodded to Kapu with a smile, "Is the alpha male. You are welcome to join the pack if he too accepts you."

Umay scented yet another stranger on the wind, in their territory. She gave Kapu a quick look before sprinting off to confront this other intruder, assured he could handle Xania.

K.apu

K.apu was not attracted to the gleaming white wolfess. he wasn't prone to flirty females. one golden eye rolled to watch Umay for a moment. though she was young and inexperienced, maybe not immune to all of her emotions, Umay was a good alpha - K.apu could give her much credit for that. K.apu nodded at her words. "I am Kapu. welcome." Umay's glance was returned quickly as K.apu heard and smelled another stranger. apparently this pack was very popular for newcomers. K.apu desperately wanted to go confront the strange wolf on their territory, but he knew that Umay would handle it, and that he should watch Xania. for a few moments, he lingered over the white she-wolf, continuing to establish dominance. but after a couple of minutes, K.au backed up to allow Xania to climb to her feet. still, wary of any attempts to catch his heart, he lifted a lip. it revealed a glistening fang that had some traces of old blood. this was a way K.apu showed that he was uncertain. all wolves could tell what he meant when he lifted his lip to show one fang - they could tell whether it was a warning or if he was uncertain, or both. in this case, it was both. more uncertain feelings, but also a warning that K.apu wouldn't tolerate any flirting. finally, after a long moment of silence, K.apu spoke once more. "and what is your name?"

Xania

She glimpsed at the male curling his lip, then backing away..she stood on her feet and regianed balance...she walked away from the male a few feet..and in the snow lie the bloody rabbit from what she had killed this morning..

she grabbed it in her jaws and carefully placed it in front of the male..it was alphas first and formost...she did not flirt anymore seeing the signs that he did not tolorate it..

she step back and lay down...waiting for the other to return..with another she suspected..for she could smell it in the air...

K.apu

K.apu relaxed slightly as Xania stopped flirting. his lip was released back over his glistening tooth. the swift-footed male watched Xania back away and retrieve the rabbit. K.apu glanced at it with uncertainty. he had just eaten a while ago... shaking his head slightly, K.apu spoke once more. "you have it. I just ate a few hours ago." the male clenched the bloodstained body with his teeth and tossed it lightly toward Xania. suddenly, he smelled something. the male's head went up immediately, and his eyes widened. there was another male here. K.apu could tell from scents that he was smaller than himself, and was reassured, slightly. turning back to Xania, he shortly said, "you can get yourself accustomed to the area. I must go..." with that, K.apu loped off.

White Noise

the hunter pulled away as he watched the trio interact the pain in him would slowly wash away but until then he was on his own.

Xania

she saw as the male nugged the food over..and was very hungry..she tenderly ate a snag of it..making sure the male wouldn't attack..and started to tear the flesh from the rabbit..leaving only the bone..

she turn and watched as the male left..and walked in a different direction of him..but pretty close to his path but turned away..not trying to infuriate him...
