*Umay*

A high, questioning howl came from the No Wolf Zone just south of the pack lands...

Syren

Syren's auds were instantly pulled forward, listening to the howl. It was one of question, but what exactly was the question? The hueless alphess raised her muzzle and emitted her own call, flying from the depths of her vocals. Her voice urged the unidentified wolf to come closer, so that she may hear his or her question.

*Umay*

Hearing the corresponding howl, Umay entered the territory to locate the alpha. When she finally spotted Syren, Umay laid her ears back and held her body submissively low and creeped towards the alpha, "I wish to join your pack. My name is Umay." she looked up hopefully at Syren, but didn't make eye contact.

Syren

The silver hued Alphess looked at Umay, tiara and banner held high. The newcomer didn't seem like she would cause misfortune... Syren smiled, offering a nod to the new wolf. "Welcome to Aspen Grove. You may call me Syren."

Umay

"Thank you, Syren." Umay said, still holding herself low. "Are you the only other wolf here? I didn't notice any other's scents." she pointed out, just from curiousity.

Syren

The vixen looked away, as if trying to peer through the future. Her banner lowered, falling almost limply behind her. Indeed, she was the only other here... but the terra was newly claimed... It may be a slow start, but eventually the pack would grow.

"Yes, it's just you and me so far."

Her words were calm, though the thought of the future irked her... she would have to be optimistic, or the pack would fade from history as fast as it was founded.

Umay

She let her tail wave faintly, wanting to reasure her new alpha that their pack would grow, "I could try to recruit some new members." she offered hopefully. She had a few ideas in mind of who might want to join, but she'd have to find them first.

Syren

"That would be wonderful, Umay." Syren said, smiling at the new member. She seemed to be a helpful wolf; which would well earn her rank here. Syren looked up, thinking that she had heard another wolf, but she shrugged it off, dismissing it as her imagination.

Umay

Her tail waved faintly, glad to please her alpha. "I'll be back soon." the wolfess said before turning and sprinting off.
