Shika

She enters sadley and looks for Aquila as she waits for her new freinds. She hoped Aquila was ok. She was very upset that the human had killed Luna. She sighs sadly as her ears droop as she sits and waits. She lets out a few meows for Aquila.

Aquila

The old wolf hadn't heard Shika's meows; his senses were getting more blurred by his age. But his smell was still alright, and he had thus picked up the feline's scent. It was a long time before Aquila appeared, limping stiffly through the fog towards his small friend. His worn teeth were shown in a slight grin, "Shika, is that you? Why, I'm glad to see you!" he announced in a voice tapered with fatigue. His poor vision didn't tell him that Shika looked upset; he just saw a fuzzy blur infront of him who smelt like his friend.

Vlanafh, Ravanok, & Feather-Paw

The lynx mother plodded lightly along behind Shika, keeping very silent and alert. Her two kittens traveled behind her. The mother sat back on her haunches and watched Aquila with some curiousity. He seemed hurt, but he also seemed old.

Shika

She smiles glad to see Aquila and purrs rubbing against his leg once as a greeting then she sighs. "Luna is dead. A human shot her. It was to late by the time I got there. Also I havent seen anyone around here in awhile. But I made a few freinds. They are Lynxs. THats Vlanif, Feather-paw, and Ranook." She said walking by each one as she said their names. "They are much bigger then me." She said. She then looked to the Lynxs. "And this is Aquila you guys." Shye said as she walked by Aquila and sat by his side.

Aquila

"Luna is gone?" He questioned as he pulled his ears back. "I did not know her so well as the others, but it is still a terrible loss." He gave a breathy sigh and looked to the lynxes. If he weren't so terribly old, he would be fairly alarmed, for one adult lynx could kill a wolf. But he was to weary to worry about that. "Nice to meet you." Aquila said, then laid down, resting his head on his fore paws. "I'm sure the lynxes can teach you many things. More than I ever could." Aquila said lightly and gave a small smile to his friend.

Shika

She lye by Aquila as he lye down. "No you have taught me many times and helped me in danger. Your my best freind Aquila." She said. She didnt care how old he was for she cared for him deeper then anyone else. He was like family to her. She looked to the Lynxs. "Do humans ever bother you?" She asked curiously to her other freinds.

Vlanafh, Ravanok, & Feather-Paw

Ravanok watched Aquila intently. He seemed very old indeed.

Vlanafh nodded, "They hide little metal jaws in the ground that spring shut around your paws; like.. like it did to your friend. They have huge shiny birds the scream down from the sky and shoot out little rocks that tear right through animals and kills them." Vlanafh explained, talking about planes and bullets. "They aren't such trouble in the Breven Ridges, unless you're down in the valley with no where to hide."

Feather-Paw shuddered, "It's horrible! Then they come with their shiny sticks that shoot out rocks; that's the main way they kill animals. But we've been lucky not to have been bothered by them too much."

Aquila

He smiled to his friend, "You've been a dear friend to me; the best friend I've ever had." he didn't say any more on the topic, although he had much on his mind. He was tired, anyway, but wouldn't admit that to anyone.
