Waterlily

Waterlily was nervous as she sprinted back into the territory. She'd lost track of Blackout on their mission to shore up their alliance with the Sonnet Forest pack, and the subsequent 'meeting' had not gone the way she planned. She looked fervently behind her, half hoping to see her mate, and half fearing that Lepiota or a human would be there at her tail.

Only after she was a good half-mile back into their land did Waterlily finally stop in her hasty sprint and call for the pack's leaders.

Stormrunner

Stormrunner approached Lily shortly after hearing her call. "Is everything alright, Lily?" He asked the obviously anxious fae, with a quick look over to make sure she wasn't hurt.

Waterlily

Waterlily's pulse thundered in her ears and she couldn't quite look to Storm's face as he approached. Her gaze instead found a spot in front of his paws, and she stared there as she answered him back, "I messed up, I think." The wolfess swallowed, "I lost track of Blackout when we went to the Sonnet Forest, and when I got there..." Slowly, her gaze inched upward, briefly meeting Stormrunner's eyes before darting away again, "..they were under attack by humans. I ran into a female, and she asked for my help, but I- I was afraid. I could hear boomsticks and hounds, so I told her I'd alert my pack and I ran away. She.. declared us enemies."

Stormrunner

Many thoughts ran through the alpha's mind as Waterlily divulged her tale, none the least of which was concern for his brother. "Where is Blackout now? Was he in the territory?" First and foremost, he wanted to be sure that his sibling was okay, and not being hunted down by humans. His second concern drifted to the possibility of having an enemy... that was something the young alpha had not dealt with yet, and the last possible outcome he'd wanted when he sent Black and Lily out to the Sonnet Forest. "What did the wolf look like, that you encountered?" Before anything though, he needed to get all the fact together.

Waterlily

"I-I'm not sure." Waterlily whimpered, now fearing for the life of her mate. "We were traveling together to the Sonnet Forest, but got separated along the way." She stifled the urge to call out to Blackout, but couldn't stop her worried sights from jumping about the landscape, hoping to see her other half emerge safely in their lands. They only flicked back to Stormrunner when the alpha questioned her on the unknown fae, "She..." Waterlily paused, trying to draw the image from her memory. Everything happened so fast, she hadn't the time to really remember the details of the stranger. "..she was a grizzled gray, I think. Browns, blacks, grey, patch of white." Her brows furrowed and she shook her head, "A pink nose? Part of it was pink, at least, I remember that."

Stormrunner

'Not Arora. Her daughter maybe...? My niece..' Stormrunner tried to fit that description to a face, or at least a name, but he wasn't as familiar with the Sonnet Forest pack, and only really know what he heard from his parents and the infrequent howls from the distant territory. "It's okay, Waterlily." He finally said, jumping back to the fae's rattled state. He smiled softly, "Running from humans was a smart move. Why don't you go find Blackout, and you two stay in the terra for now - I'll check in on the Sonnet Forest." He let his tail sway a little, trying to encourage Waterlily to relax some, even if his mind was now on overdrive.

Blackout

He had been waiting for lilly to go to the tt to deal with the alliance when he cought wind. He growled I doubt she was in the right territory. I have been waiting for her to go to do the alliance brother. I shall go do it now and lilly is no longer beta female It killed him to say that but she clearly wasn't going to work as his mate. He loved her with all his heart but his mate would never of left without him He stared at her the hurt in his eyes evident and then moved off for the sonnet forest. Even if lilly had found the right territory she was impulsive and wasn't bright enough to deal with this. She could not be beta. She clearly doesn't have what it takes to me Beta brother , more like omega Oh he was hurt and felt betrayed. His mate shouldn't or wouldn't of done this. His tail up in beta he took off for the territory. If by chance she did find it I'll fix her screwup stay with the packHe said as he ran

Stormrunner

Harks perked at the sound of Blackout's growling voice, and despite it, Stormrunner gave a sigh of relief to see that his brother was alive and well and not bleeding out on the forest floor in foriegn territory. He was thrown for a bit of a loop at his sibling's words though, and his tones grew cautious as he answered back, "Black, what's this about? I thought you both had left after your rest." He glanced questioningly to Waterlily, not sure what had prompted the one-eighty between the pair, but then it really wasn't his business to step between them. What was his business was the safety of the pack, and when Blackout took it upon himself to run head-long into a territory swarming with humans, Stormrunner couldn't sit back and let that happen. Giving Waterlily a wordless look to stay back, he took off after his littermate.

Waterlily

Waterlily was just about as confused as her alpha was. Her plume had just begun to wave at the sight of Blackout, only to stop cold as his words and behavior towards her hit like a swarm of bees. Shocked, the she-wolf stepped back, ears and tail lowering. "Black..? I thought you were right behind me..." The fae's words choked in her throat, and with moistening eyes, she stepped a few paces back again. Before she knew it, both brothers were bounding away, leaving Waterlily stunned and heartbroken. Quietly, the wolfess slunk away into the shadows.

Black

I did not leave with her Storm she left without meHe said then snorted How did you think I was behind you I've been at the den site waiting for youHe said

Stormrunner

Stormrunner stopped when Blackout did and looked back, "I see." He answered neutrally, suspecting there was something more going on between the pair for such a division to rear up between them, and he did not want to get caught between a squabbling pair. "If you want to stay here and speak with her, you can." He offered the compromise, seeing that Waterlily had already slunk away into the dying greenery and was out of sight. "Or you can come with me, but we need to travel with caution." Storm felt his stomach tense, "I don't know if the humans are still there or not." Or if our sister is still alive."

Blackout

You stay here with the pack I will go fix her mistake, You decide how to deal with her. you instructed me to go there I am going to do thatHe said the pack needs one of us here and as this is my job to deal with this pack i will goHe said and then turned to leave.

Stormrunner

"These are humans we're dealing with, I don't want you going by yourself." Stormrunner said with gravity in his tones, then glanced back to where Waterlily had disappeared. His words softened a little as he delicately extricated himself from that issue, "I'll leave you two to sort out your problems Black, I think she's just a bit shaken up from the two-legger encounter." He wasn't sure how the two managed to get themselves on such different wavelengths for their diplomacy mission, but as long as neither had been harmed he wasn't going to punish either. The alpha was more concerned with how the Sonnet Pack was fairing, and which member Waterlily had actually run into that was brash enough to declare them enemies.

Blackout

He growled ,No storm i am going and that final. there is nothering for me and her to sort, she no longer my mate nor beta femaleHe said . Call someone else to come with me if you must but i am goingHe said He took off then for sonnet.

Stormrunner

Stormrunner let his tail rise, using that silent signal in lieu of a growl or snap to remind his brother to watch his behavior. He still wasn't sure what had transpired between the pair to cause such a rift, nor why Blackout had gotten such a thorn under his skin over the Sonnet Forest, but he had learned from his time with Megatron that aggression and domination were not always the solution to an unruly packmate. He listened to his brother's words, and then bounded along side of him to the Sonnet Forest.
