Deadra
Deadra had nodded to Cavan's words before taking off at a light jog toward aspen grove. She first moved around the entire border before stopping at where hse smelt Nachi the strongest yet it seemed faded. She let out chirps calling for Nachi. Her long tail low to the ground as she chirped for Cavan's sister. She couldn't roar like bigger cats but the chirps were still loud.
Keap
'The hell is that noise...?!' Keap thought to himself as the strange chirping sounded again. He'd never encountered a cheetah before, because in all his life he'd never wondered far from the Aspen Grove. Determined to uncover the source of it, the dark brown and creamy white wolf moved closer towards the boarder, and closer to the source of the bizarre sound.
Several minutes later, Keap reached the border, and laid eyes on the most curious cat he'd ever witnessed. It was tall and rather thin in appearance, and bore a strange, spotted pattern on its coat that was unlike any beast he knew of. The size of Deadra made him a little cautious, and thus he took a few, stiffly-placed steps towards her, with his hackles up, "Who are you? ...what are you?"
Deadra
Deadra kept calling and was getting antsy at no return call or anyone to come to her. Then a younger looking animal seemed t o come forward. It wasn't Nachi or Starscream. My name is Deadra and I'm a cheetah. I am looking for NachiShe said.
Keap
The fact that she was a cat, even if a bizarre and ill-formed one in his opinion, was enough to keep the wolf on his toes. He'd been warned time after time about how dangerous felines could be to a lone wolf, and yet... he wondered if this round-headed, skinny-bodied creature was really all that dangerous? Any thoughts of testing this theory evaporated when she mentioned Nachi. Keap produced a low, dangerous growl - of all his family, he had been hardest impacted by his mother's death, and perhaps the only one to truly grieve for her passing; if only because she'd favored and babied him, and almost produced something of a bond with her son. "She's not here. What are you, a Haunter? Or one of her friends?" It had always been well known that Nachi had an obsessive love for big cats, so it wasn't too much of a stretch in Keap's mind that this might be one of her feline friends.
Deadra
Deadra's tail twitched as he seemed to study her till she mentioned nachi and her fur bristled and she slightly hissed to his growl. A haunter and a friend to her brother. He wishes to know why he hasn't heard from his sister! She said. Her already half extended claws came out more as she kneaded the ground beneath her paws.
Keap
A Haunter? Great... The pack knew that eventually Cavan and his obsessive protectiveness over Nachi would have to be answered for, and he half wondered if he should call for his father or another member of the pack. Keap quickly shrugged off that idea however, and remained bristled when Deadra gave a hiss, "He hasn't heard from her because she was murdered." The wolf's tone grew darker there, in reflection of the raw pain he still felt.
Deadra
Deadra watched him and then she just stared. Did he just say murdered? Murdered!? No this was not good. Well thank you for your information but I must return homeShe said backing away. Sure she could of asked by whome but just that word had her edgy. Plus her hour was running up.
