Dimitri

Konstantin had been kind enough to ferry the group over to the island. He had even offered medical attention.

Upon reaching the island, Dimitri and Katerinka went straight into the house. Dimitri set Hunter down on the couch, then sat down next to her. Katerinka laid Eden in the bed in the spare room.

Eden

Edens eyes opened slowly, those mismatched eyes landing on Katerinka's. She was silent for a moment, then those eyes went unseeing and she began to scream, screaming as though some invisible person was torturing her, as though they had placed her into a furnace. Her skin was growing very heated to the touch, a fever blazing.

Upon hearing the screams Hunter sat up, a gasp escaping her lips as she felt her ribs crack again. Eden. She hissed to Dimitri, her sign for him to go see what was wrong.

Emiko

Emiko followed the others off the vessel and to the house. She had no other place to turn and with two kids on the way she couldn't be alone. With them she was safer. Sasuke wouldn't accept her no more and she knew his neourological problem could get her and her kids killed. She sat down and closed her eyes. All the stress was causing her to go into labor. Shit this wasn't good. Her water had broken on the boat but she hadn't noticed it.Shit..... I I think i'm going into labor a month and half early!SHe groaned.

Dimitri

Dimitri glanced at Emiko. He didn't want that bitch here, but he felt obliged to invite her in, as she helped them escape. Then he heard Eden. Without a word, he stood up and ran into the bedroom. He knelt down next to the girl. "What's wrong?" He asked.

Katerinka could tell that the little girl was warm. "She's got a fever. Here." She got a cold, wet rag to place on Eden's forehead. "You're safe here, Eden. You can tell me what's wrong." Dimitri said softly. He motioned for Katerinka to go help Emiko.

Katerinka left the room and walked up to Emiko. "Get up. We have to get to the hospital."

Eden

Eden's eyes were still wide open and her body was trembling as the cloth was placed to her forehead. Its not real its not real its not real. She whimpered now, her hands clenching and unclenching. But it was real. Repeatedly she was seeing Dimitri being tortured, seeing Hunter covered in the blood of a friend.... And it wouldn't go away. why wouldn't it go away? The images had always gone away before...

Hunter stood slowly, and began to walk, staggering slowly towards the bedroom. Upon reaching it, she leaned heavily in the doorway. Dimitri... She needs... Rest. Hold her... Hand... But the gloves weren't in place, and neither of them knew about Eden's abilities.

Emiko

She nodded and stood up with or with out Kat's help.You should know Don't touch Eden's hands with out her having gloves onSHe spoke first hopefully loud enough for hunter or Dimitri to hear. She then follow Kat to the door.

Dimitri

Dimitri reached out to hold Eden's hand, watching her carefully as a father would watch his frightened child. "Go to sleep, Eden. Go to sleep." He whispered, never once taking his eyes off of the little girl.

Zarya, a daughter of Anya and Windsong, jumped up onto the bed and curled up next to Eden. The hybrid canine rested her head close to Eden's and sighed deeply.

Katerinka walked out the door and set out for the hospital.

Eden

Emiko's words reached Hunter, and she said Dimitri wait! Hopefully before his hand touched hers.

Eden clenched a tiny fist into Zarya's fur. Her eyes closed but she still whimpered. Soon though, her whimpers quieted and she drifted off to sleep. Hunter still stood in the door way, her eyes on Dimitri. What are we going to do with her? She whispered to him. She didn't want to come closer, afraid that she would hurt the child if she even dared think about it.

Dimitri

Dimitri stopped himself when he heard Hunter. He let out a sigh of relief, letting his hand fall to his side. He stood up when Eden fell asleep and walked to the doorway where Hunter was. "I...I don't know." He whispered back. "Uchiha will probably want to take her back. I hope he doesn't know where we are." He paused, looking at the sleeping girl. "If I could, I'd take her in." He had always loved kids. He had always wanted children of his own, but he knew he probably wouldn't have Eden for long. Surely, Sasuke would come after them.

Hunter

Her eyes were on Dimitri's and she stood on tiptoe and gave him a gentle kiss. Things will work out. You'll see. Another soft kiss. She looked up at him with complete love and devotion in her eyes. We'll be ready for him, Dimitri. She will be safe with us. Her eyes drifted to Eden and she sighed softly. Sometimes, she wished she had a child, but other times, it made her panic. What would she do with it? How would she care for it?

Dimitri

Dimitri put his arms around Hunter and kissed her back. "They always do." He replied with a smile, gazing into her eyes with the same love and devotion. But he broke away when Hunter did, glancing at Eden again. The little girl seemed so strong, yet so fragile.
