Xanabar
+WILD AND UNTAMABLE+
they tried to hold him back, but they couldn't stop him...
Ziyadah had left the ranch a while ago. he had decided not to risk freedom. I mean, he was happy as a wild horse! why go to some ranch and ruin it by getting captured?
the massive stallion thundered through the prairie, his bugling muscles bunching and releasing like springs. Ziyadah was probably the fastest horse in the world. he had never met a horse faster than himself, and he was sure that if he lived forever and raced every horse to ever live, he would beat all of them. he had never been defeated before.
the coal black stallion tore at the ground with tremendous strides. he had three advantages over other horses. one, he was higher at the croup than the withers. this accounted for his giant strides and unbelievable speed. two, his heart was larger than the average horse's... in both will and size. three, he had more than four gaits. the last three paces were too fast to be considered gallops.
Ziyadah felt alive and free. he never stumbled, never faltered, never slowed. he didn't need to. the Egyptian Arabian mix ran faster than the wind itself, and he knew it. Ziyadah's long strides ate up the ground as he galloped along. he was flying right now, but he was still in his fourth gait, the gallop. Ziyadah never needed to run all out. nobody could catch him.
the stallion was waiting for somebody to be tempted to chase him. they would never win. never, ever. he was just too fast... had too much stamina to be beaten. alas, it was probably impossible to defeat the young Ziyadah.
and so he won - as the fastest horse to ever live

act Xanabar is mean, stubborn, and hateful of most humans. he is not as rude and fierce as he once was, but still has his huge wild streak, although it's more of spirit and wildness than just wildness. he can be calmed in a long period of time, but only slightly. Xanabar will make a great stud and halter horse. he detests males (whether they are human or equine), and would rather be put out in a pasture with mares and fillies than with geldings and colts. he will not lose his cool around an in-heat mare, and will not do anything with another horse unless he is asked to. Xanabar has been in training for western and english riding for about three years, but has developed the habit of bucking because the first time he was ridden, the rider wore spurs and held a crop. Xanabar has been completely trained for racing, which he loves. he's probably the fastest horse with the most stamina and heart that you'll ever find--with the exception of maybe one of his offspring. Xanabar never gives up on racing, even if he has an injury. he will be friendly enough and less wild around people who are that way to him, but not so gentle. he's extremely intelligent, learns quickly, and likes to watch his surroundings. Xanabar is getting smarter and faster every day, and he's already so intelligent. he'll do great as a stud, and could be a future halter champion. still, Xanabar is very whip-shy (more suitable calling it "whip-raged"), the result of being hit every time he misbehaved or made a mistake. only his major intelligence, spirit, and wild streak should pass onto his foals, and when the friendliness and affection come, those traits should go onto his foals, too.

XANABAR
Al Sheratan
Small white fae was racing her own wind when she saw Xanabar. She flew past him in the opposite direction and circled back around her white contrasting to his black. She smirked and said "Well hello" she flew by him again only to circle around him. "Is there something I can help you with?" she had basically made this her home. Her place. Her sanctuary.
Xanabar
Ziyadah snorted simply at the flash of white passing him. his strides were long and steady. it probably looked like he was fast, but Ziyadah wasn't tired a bit. this pace was completely slow for him. the stallion released another notch of his speed to make sure he could stick like glue to the mare when she tried thundering by and circling. Ziyadah snorted and tossed his head. "no. I'm fine, thanks."
the stallion didn't bother to tell his name. did it really matter to her? not unless she asked for it. the huge, regal black stallion easily galloped along the prairie. he leaped over any holes that got in his way, swerved easily around any animals or objects to tall for him to jump. or things that he just didn't feel like jumping.
Al Sheratan*Aaka
Aaka just so happened to be one of these objects that he swerved. She let out a snarl of surprise and leaped back and away from the huge animal. Turning to Al Sheratan she said "Sheratan why is it your kind are always running? I like to run and everything but this is ridiculus." Sheratan laughed and continued to run with Xanabar she called back to the white wolf "Come on Aaka. Run with us!" She raced a bit more with Xanabar and stopped quickly waiting for the white wolf to catch up. Aaka was definetly not as fast as the two of them. But she had fun anywways. Sheratan raced away from Aaka again after Xanabar catching up but she was at his flanks. Smiling she said "Where did you come from?"
