Spirit
The big buckskin stallion had visited the ranch, but hunger had shoved staying out of his mind. He had left a dusty trail where his hooves had sunk into the hard earth. He turned back his head and watched the trail slowly disappear in the wind.
He skidded to a sharp halt and looked to both sides. Grass filled his sight. He started at a walk and sped up a bit before slowling back down and stopping. He cocked his head and tail and started to graze.
Bear
Bear a large wolf came towards the horse. He stayed a distance away and showed that he was no threat to the stallion. He had never seen a horse before and didnt know what he was. Coming a little close he said
Uh...Hi im Bear. Who and what are you?
He wasnt meaning to be or sound rude. But curiosity had gotten the better of him. Again
Stable
Stable was curious of this stallion, and so she decided to follow him. Being use to humans and their protection though, she shied and started as she went along and was scared by little things. It wasn't long before the dappled mare was far behind Spirit.
She finally caught up with him though and watched Bear with large eyes and pulled-back ears. "I've never been out here before..." she murmured quietly.
Bear
He smiled softly and turned to Stable. "Hi Im Bear. Whats your name?" He was big and friendly towards other creatures but he wasnt a big fan of other wolves. He cocked his head and said "Are you afraid of me?" It wouldnt be a first. Everyone was afraid of him. Everyone looked at his size and immediatly said he was dangerous
Spirit
The big stallion turned quickly as the other horse came. He pawed the ground and cocked his head. His brown eyes studied the other.
"I am Spirit. Hello."
He had seen many a wolf in his life, though he was still fairly young.
Just then, a long-distant noise came to his pricked ears. One ear was turned to the wolf, the other in the ranch direction.
He quickly reared neighed and then started pawing the air.
"I scence trouble somewhere at the ranch!"
With that, he turned to the direction his ear was pointing, and he galloped off quickly to help, his strong legs carrying him to help.
