*Sounds*

Though none can be seen, the sound of coyotes howling can be heard. It sounds like they have made some kind of kill, or found food. The howling is coming from the bottom of a ravine. A solitary tree stands nearby the ravine, but the winds are too strong to pick up any good scents.

*Coyotes*

There are four young coyotes and two alphas, but they have run to the top of the ravine because two wolves and a wolf-hybrid have chased them from their meal. Their meal is a large, dead oxen.

Demon

He enters the terrain knowing the others were following. He hears the coyotes but cant smell a kill. He had a feeling there was one there though so he pads down to where the coyotes were to see if they had a big kill. This might be easier then he thought.

Bullet

Bullet heard them too. He circles off to Demon's right and advances on the noisy canines, hoping to find a meal.

*Coyotes*

There is a dead oxen. The coyotes had chased it to the ravine. The oxen's legs couldn't quite navigate the ravine, so the creature fell and badly broke one leg. Unable to get out of the ravine because of it's steepness, and from harassment from the coyotes, the little canines waited nearly three days before the oxen was weak enough for them to go in and kill it.

There is a pair of adult coyotes and four younger ones. They spot Demon and Bullet and begin to bark and growl. The alphas puff out their fur to look bigger, "This is our meal, find your own!"

Demon

He smirked and smiled evilly. "Make us." He said taking up the challenge. "You don't look to strong anyway so beat it or do you want to die like the Oxen." He says. He wasn't afraid of any Coyotes. If Bullet or Ninaki didn't want to fight Demon would try to take on them all in a fight. They were probably starving and wouldn't fight as well on a empty stomach. He smirks an lunges at the male alphas neck tucking his own for he knew that was probably the first place the others would try to grab. If he was successful in getting the neck his powerful jaws sink in. "Give up or die." He snarls.

Ninaki

Ninaki grins as well, looking at the smaller creatures. He knew they were quick, but nearly as strong as Demon, Bullet, or himself. The wolf charged at the four adolescence coyotes, snapping at any he could reach.

Bullet

In mockery, Bullet expanded his ruff and made his fur rise. He padded swiftly toward the female coyote, snarling and ready to snap at her throat if she didn't run.

*Coyotes*

The male leapt away from Demon just before he reached his neck. Giving a snarl, the coyote sprinted up the side of the ravine, and stood at the top to look down on the three intruders. His mate, and the other four also escaped and darted up to their alpha. The yipped and taunted the three below, but didn't dare go near the oxen now. They would have to wait.

Demon

He smiles evilly as he watches them flee. "Ok lets eat our share and then carry it back for the others. If we eat our share now it will be easier to bring back." He said knowing the most difficult part of getting it back to the alleys would soon come. He ate his share and then laid down and cleaned the blood from it off his fur. He waited for Bullet and Ninaki to eat.

Bullet

He nods to Demon and begins to eat. He ignored the yipping coyotes. He is soon finished and sits down to wait for Ninaki. Bullet glances up the other canines and gives a slight snarl.

Ninaki

He is quick to eat as well. Ninaki works to tear off one of the oxen's front legs to take back for the others. He waits for Demon and Bullet.

Demon

He knew no one would need to eat the head so he grabs the neck and chops hard and continues until the head is off the kill. He grabs part of the kill and begins to drag it. He looks to Bullet for some help. The hardest part would be getting it through the water. If they couldn't carry it then he knew they'd have to tear off some pieces like Ninaki did.

Kiarra

very young little female wolf smell the oxen...she was only a week old. she was so hungry. she hid in the bushes to scared to come out...

Demon

He scents another close. He pads over to the bushes to find the pup. He smirks but realizes she was alone. "Who are you." He says coolly. He steps out of the way so the others could see the pup he had just found.

*wolfees pads up close. a part of her side fur is ruffled from a kick from humans and that’s where a bruise is. her red eyes glinted. dried crimson blood on her left hind leg. she favored that hind leg a bit.*

Ninaki

Ninaki spots Black Fyre, and the injuries she had. His eyes narrowed slightly, but he approached her cautiously. Ninaki set the leg done that he was carrying, "Who are you? If you are hungry, you can have this." he said, nodding to the oxen leg he set down. That way, he could help Demon and Bullet drag the rest of the oxen to the Alleys. Ninaki also noticed Kiarra, but let Demon handle the very young pup.

thanks *picks up the leg and carries it off.*

Kiarra

Scared that Demon might eat her she backs ups slowly shaking....

Bullet

He pads over to the pup slowly, then looks towards Demon, "She doesn't carry the scent of any packs in the area. Perhaps we could take her with us. I'm sure Hydras and Narsia would love to have a pup to look after." the wolf-hybrid returned his gaze to Kiarra. "Don't be afraid, we won't harm you." Bullet dips his head down closer to her, "You need food, don't you? You can come with us."

Demon

He nods to the pup in agreement with Bullet. The pup would have to walk till they got to the alleys and then it would be hard to get her through the flood but it could be done. He'd wait till the pup ate and perhaps shed answer his question.

Kiarra

Kiarra wags her little tail a little, "oooooo-k" she walks forward a little "I am Kiarra"

Demon

He nods to Kiarra and smiles slightly after nodding. He looks to the Coyotes and smiles evilly. They weren’t getting anything unless they liked to at the head of the kill that Demon ripped off. He looks to Kiarra. "I'm Demon, that's Bullet and that's Ninaki." He says gesturing towards the others as he said their names. "You can eat and then we shall all go."

Kiarra

she smiles "HI!" she goes over to the Oxen and eats quickly, she was so hungry. after eating her feel she looked up, "can I help?" she nods to the oxen wondering if she could help them take it back to their pack...

Demon

He nods to Kiarra. No harm done by letting her help. It would actually be better. He knew she wouldn't be able to help carry it through the water though for it would be hard for Bullet, Ninaki, and himself in the first place to swim under water with it. Before he picks up the prey he snarls at the coyotes giving them a warning not to come near while the kill was carried out. He grasps the kill firmly in his maw and waits for Kiarra, Bullet, and Ninaki to grab it also so they could begin to leave.

Bullet

Bullet nodded in greetance to Kiarra, "Welcome to the pack." after she had eaten, he also grabbed part of the kill and waited for Kiarra and Ninaki.

Kiarra

she grabs a part of the meat and waits, ready to start moving...

Ninaki

He also grabs a part of the oxen, ready to drag it back to the alleys.

Demon

He nods and begins to walk knowing the others would to.

Bullet

He tugs on the oxen, pulling it with the help of the others to the alley.
