.the slender, tawny feline silently padded through the long grasses once again, onyx-tipped tail twitching about. her wicked green eyes narrowed slightly as she glanced around, making sure there were no hunters, or other 'things' that would seek to annoy her. yet as she came to the small river that ran through the area, she drank quickly, watching...

Nachi

The wolfess stalked across the prairie, mulling random thoughts through her mind. A very odd, troubling pup-hood had left far from the ordinary wolf in thougt and actions. Rather than take to her own kind, she craved for attention and companionship from other species. It was an odd quirk, but such things happened now and then in the wild. And since she hadn't been buffed by her new feline friends at the Breve Ridges, Nachi felt more confident in seeking a wider array of friends in other species. She desperately wanted a young creature to take care of, but hadn't come across one yet.

Now the sent of cougar came to her, stopping the wolfess in her tracks and sending her lithe muzzle quivering into the air. After identifying the location, Nachi began to pad delightled in a bee-line for where Alayna was drinking by the small river. Being nearsighted like most canines, she hadn't spotted the tawny feline against the dead brush.

.what was that? the feline's ears twitched lightly as the sound of movement nearby reached her. opening her wicked green eyes, alayna glanced about quickly, muscles taut. rising to her feet, she suddenly saw the wolf, a female, headed her way. ears flattening slowly, she became tense, waiting, watching, wondering what it wanted with her...
