Leala

Hidden in the tall grass was a very young wolf pup, only 8 weeks old. Her ebon fur was clearly visible, though the young dove didn't know that. Her tiny body shook with fear, fear of being alone forever. Her mother was dead; she had died 3 days before from some illness she had gotten when they arrived at Sparkling Creek Valley. Her father was gone as well; he had been killed when she was born by Scar. She was a very special pup where she was from, her parents where Alpha's of a very large, and respected pack. And she was supposed to take control of the pack when they died, like a princess maybe?

Soulless

As I bolted through the snow...I caught the scent of another wolf. I followed it until I came upon a young pup of about 8 weeks. She was shivvering, so walked forth and lay next to her to keep her warm. I expected her to ask questions. "Keep still child, this cold is great." I lay my neck over her small body to keep heat. My black eyes scanned the snowy expanse of the prarie for predators.

Leala

For a moment she was to afraid to ask questions, but when the wolf spoke kindly to her her fear left. She moved closer to the wolfess's warm bodice, glad to have someone to keep her warm. Finally she came up with the courage to speak, "My mama's dead." Was all she said, little tears welling up in her blue eyes.

Soulless

I gazed down upon her with my jet black occules. "We should leave the open...it is a ad place for pups like yourself." I reached down and picked her up in my jaws by the scruff of her neck, a perent-like gesture. Then I bolted, not at my full speed, but at a reasonable one, as to not drop the pup in my jaws. I reached the edge of the prarie and set her down so I could catch my breath. "Where to next?" I asked, gazing down at her.

Leala

Wincing when the ivory fae picked her up she closed her eyes, expecting to worst. But when nothing happened she let out a sigh and watched as she was carried to the edge of the prairie. Once Soulless set her down and asked her a question she sighed, "I…I don't know…" She said, looking down at the ground.

Soulless

I gaze down upon her. "Well....where do you want to go?" I ask. I lay down, placing my body around hers to keep her warm. I cast my abyss orbs down toward the shallow stream, then sniff at the pup. "you need a bath...." I say, I pick her up and quickly walk down to it. I find a shallow spot and place the pup on the ground near the edge of the water. I lay down upon the cold sand, watching her. I thought of this one as my own already. "I have a question.......How would you like to tag along with me.....from now on....?" I ask in a kind of nervous tone. My ears perk up hopefully as I await her response.

Leala

A smile grew on her mug and she nodded, "My name is Leala." She said, "What is your's?" The black pup waited for a response, glad that she finally had someone to take care of her.

Soulless

I gazed down at her with a tilted head. No one had ever bothered to ask my name before. "I am Soulless......" I replied, slightly embarrassed. "Only living member of a pack destroyed by..........humans." I growled at the word. I hated humans.

Leala

Her auds went back against her head when the fae growled, but that pricked back up when she she figured out that she wasn't growling at her. Humans...she new what they where, a couple had tried to attack her pack when she was very...very young. Her mother had told her about them. "I know what humans are...my mama told be about them. She told me a story about the time they had attacked our pack." A sad look spread accross her face as she remembered her mother.

Soulless

I gazed down upon Leala with my abyss occules. "They are a disgusting race........" I growled. I started pacing back and forth, angered still at the word. I stopped pacing and lay down. I missed my family. I brought myself into a sitting position and let out a mourning howl that could pierce the soul of any living creature imaginable.
