Shaded Moon & Osmia

After nearly half an hour of standing about and waiting for his herdmates to return, Shaded realized everyone must be as lost as he and Sarada. And so the stallion set out to find his missing comrades, though he made sure to keep Sarada close at his side.

The fog was beginning to disperse by the time he stumbled across Osmia. The mare was standing near a thicket, her legs bloodied and torn by a patch of brambles she'd stumbled into during her blind flight. "Shade!" The mare all but squealed and cantered up to the stallion, limping slightly, "Are you okay? Is Soul...?" Her eyes passed over Sarada and sought the smaller stallion, but he was not among them.

Shaded Moon dropped his dial, "We haven't found him yet. Sarada and I managed to fight off the wolves, and she crippled one of them."

Sarada

She stayed close. They would be easy picking for a big cat. Her left haunch still bleeding from the bite. She let the two talk. She cocked her left leg off the ground to rest it

Shaded Moon & Osmia

Osmia cocked an ear in Sarada's direction and her eyes fell to the wounded leg. She shivered a little at the sight of the injuries and folded her auds back against her mane. "I'm glad the wolves are gone, but we must remain vigilant. I smelled cats when I ran." The mare shifted her body as if she were going to approach Sarada, but wavered and turned her head, staring off into the dissipating fog instead. "How are you holding up, Sarada?"

Shaded Moon also juggled his balance, adjusting his stance with a discomfort that had nothing to do with his own bite wounds. As he waited for their leader to return, the stallion swiveled an ear to Osmia and Sarada, delving into silence as he now listened to them.

Sarada

When osmia mentioned big cats her mind goes back to her brother. But when she speaks to her she shakes herself from the memory**I'll heal. It hurts but it should heal**

Shaded Moon & Osmia

"And the foal?" Osmia added, even though it was still so early in the mare's pregnancy. The mare swished her dark tail and raised her dial to look around as she waited an answer. The fog was still too thick to easily tell which way was which, but visibility was steadily increasing, and within the hour they should be able to see well enough to see across the prairie again. "If Soul doesn't show soon, we'll have to look for him."

Shaded Moon nodded, but said nothing. The stallion had never lead their small band before, and had no clue what to do or where to go without his brother's guidance.

Sarada

Sarada snorted I couldn't tell you how the foal is....She couldn't even feel it yet as is..
