Angelina

Angelina was riding a top Tyger her bay tobiano gypsy vanner stallion. Beside them on either side as two of her huskies, Tyiasha and Riko. The dogs all of a sudden picked up a faint scent. Teh rain had stopped she frowned as they took off in a different direction and she followed them.

Khala, & Autumn Sun

Wheeling high in the air, the falcon let loose a sharp cry when she spotted the human and her canine companions. She turned sharply with a few quick flaps of her barred wings, diving downwards and moving abruptly away from Angelina's direction. "Humans are near! And they have hounds with them." Another sharp cry delivered this message to the feline that had been following her lead.

Autumn Sun scowled as her swift-footed pace came to a disappointing stop. With her golden coat and low, crouching posture, the big hybrid was perfectly camouflaged within the tall, browned grasses. But as much as she wanted to snack on the lone pup that Khala had been leading her towards, she wasn't keen on tangling with a human. Or, worse yet, lead the two-legger back to their cavern. Huffing beneath her breath, Autumn turned and discreetly retreated in the opposite direction.

Unaware that he'd narrowly avoided becoming a cat's snack, Trogon didn't move from where he'd finally curled up against the ground, too cold to even shiver at this point as sleet began to accumulate atop his silver coat. He didn't hear the approach of the dogs or the horse, but one honey-golden eye flicked open when he felt the pounding of hooves nearby.

Angelina

Angelina saw the slight raise of a fur on her dogs coats and became much more alert. She carreid two guns , one with actual bullets and one with tranqulizers. Finally her dogs fignt the pup and she gets off the horse to see what they have found. She crouchs down at the site of teh pup.Hey there little guy, where is your pack? She said softly. .

Tyiasha had smelt the big cat but the other scent concerned her as she approached the pup.are you okay? Where are your parents little one?She asks. Her mate beside her now and soon their human companion.

Trogon

Trogon tries to scramble up when she sees the human moving through the grass towards him, but his legs are too numb to properly work, much less lift him off the ground. All he can do is squirm pitifully before sinking his ice-peppered head down to the ground, his eyes wide and terrified despite Angelina's gentle body language and soft voice.

"I d-don't kn-know." He managed in a shaky whimper to Tyiasha and her mate, while his eyes remained locked on the human. "I'm c-cold..."

Tyiasha

Angelina crouched and just held out her hand.Come here little one its alrightShe said softly.

Tyiasha watched the young wolfIts alright, my human won't hurt youShe said.

Riko just listened.

Trogon

The presence of Tyiasha and Riko helped to sooth some of Trogon's anxiety about everything that was going on. The pup was so cold that he couldn't think clearly either, so despite his fear and reservations of this strange creature that was reaching for him, he lifted a shaky head and placed his nose against Agelina's hand, whimpering piteously. "I c-can't move." He tried again to stand, but his paws felt like blocks of stone.

Angelina

She waited patiently and smiled and slowly strokes the top of his head. She pulled out a towel and slowly and delibertly made to pick him wrapping him up leaving his head out.

Tyiasha watched him.Angelina will help you she loves animals, more so then other humansShe said.

Riko wagged his tail

Trogon

Trogon might have offered a growl or frightened yelp at the touch if he wasn't so cold, but as it was the little pup went limp in Angelina's grasp, offering no resistance when she wrapped him up in the towel. Now a little puppy burrito, Trogon studied the peculiar face in front of him, and though he couldn't understand her words or gestures, she at least didn't look aggressive or mean.

Tyiasha's words had Trogon looking back to her, "Sh-she wont eat m-me? Or sh-shoot me?" Like the other pups, he'd heard plenty about what humans did to wolves, and none of it had been good. It made little difference now though; wrapped up tightly, Trogon was entirely at Angelina's mercy now.

Tyasiha

Tyaisha followed Angie back to the horse and watched as she put trogon in the napsack just leaving his head out.Eat you? No way, she actually doesn't even eat meat. Shoot you? Nah your a pup and she only shoots animals if they attack her and even then she tries to put them to sleep firstShe said. Im Tyaisha and this is RikoShe said.

Trogon

"Sh-she doesn't?" Trogon briefly wondered if his brother was right, and that humans mostly at grass. It comforted him somewhat, and he had to admit - being wrapped up in these strange skins was far better than the layer of sleet that had covered him moments ago. He actually began to shiver now, and made no effort to squirm out of the towel or the bag. "I'm T-trog-gon."

Tyiasha

Tyiasha smiled as she waited for herh uman to get on the horse.Nice to meet you, so why are you out here without a parent? are you an orphan? She asks as they start to move toward home.

Trogon

At the mention of parents, Trogon's thoughts were jarred back to his family, and his sleepy eyes went wide with sudden worry, "M-my family! Th-they were with m-me, and we got s-separat-ted." From his vantage point on the horse, Trogon tried to search for his siblings and cousins. All that met his frantically searching eyes though was a sea of silver, an endless expanse of ice-covered grass with no sign of his missing squad. Not realizing that all had made their way out of the prairie by now, Trogon whimpered. "...we s-snuck away from h-home, and got l-lost."

Tyiasha

She listened as they moved toward homeSorry to hear thatShe said.

Trogon

Trogon whimpered pitifully, his teeth now chattering. It felt so strange to be up above the grass this tall, and so close to a prey animal that didn't give him a second thought. If only he weren't so cold and frightened, Trogon would have been loosing his mind at all that was going on. Instead, he hunkered down into his blanket burrito and closed his eyes, focused only on getting warm, and wondering what had happened to his siblings and cousins.
