Jena & Ruby

The two tiger siblings were wandering around Tall Grass Prairie, wondering what happened to their past family and mates. Ruby ended up laying down first to rest, panting to try and cool off from the summers heat. She missed Midget just like her littermate missed Cross Eyed. Rubys’ blue eyes watched as Jena moved over to her and laid down next to her, her head resting on her back. The two began to groom each other for comfort more than for the need to be clean. Rubys’ scar was visible, the claws had sliced her right above her stomach and went all the way down to her hip. It started just below her shoulder, and the wound had nearly killed her. In the end, being to weak to move and Jena refusing to leave her, it had separated them from their mates and pride. The two sought refuge at their old home, Sapphire Brook, for the time being under Ritual. The group was allied to the haunters, but Jena and Ruby refused to fight for them. So instead they became ‘mothers’ again and helped Flora raise Rio in return. That and protected the place from intruders and hunted sometimes. They weren’t lazy guests, but guests all the same. Ritual knew she would lose them if they found Midget and Cross Eyed. The two had even told her that. It was nearing a year and half since then, and yet they still haven’t located any old member. Ruby hid her face into Jenas’ shoulder.

Cross Eyed & Midget

Cross eyed and Midget had been poached by hunters and had barely escaped with their lives. Cross eyed was now missing an ear which had been removed by human vets. They had just been released back into the wild. Cross eyed nor his smaller brother could find any trace of the two females. They had traveled every where they could of thought the two would be to no luck and now returned to the priari. Cross eyed's eyes had just returned to normal afte he thought they had been stuck at the strange angle. As he moved with his jaw opened as he panted and thats when he picked up their sent and without a word he went running straight for them and he aimed to tackle one of them in a friendly way.

Midget had taken the worst of the attack. He was missing an eye having been shot in the eye. How he had survived he didn't know and he attacked the vets when they tried to keep him instead of releasing him with his brother. He also had a permanant limp in his right front and left hind from also recieving shots there. When his brother took off he huffed a few times as he followed him as fast as he could.

Jena & Ruby

They didn’t smell or see the males approaching them, so remained laying down. That is until Cross Eyed tackled into them. A hiss was their first reaction until they realized who it was. Jena pushed up into him and rubbed herself against him. When she noticed his missing ear she just licked at the area a few times before she went back to putting their scents together and letting him know she missed him.

Ruby wondered where Midget was until she saw him heading towards them. She took off towards him, and would have normally tackled him too, but seeing his limping she simply slowed down. He got the same treatment as Cross Eyed, except for her rubbing being slower and more gentle, especially on his blind side. They had worried that their mates had thought they abandoned them when they got separated. That the pride thought they had betrayed them too and were worried that Gaaraa would be pissed at them.

Midget & Cross Eyed

Cross eyed didn't care about her hiss as he too rubbed up against her. He let himself sniff her all over taking in her scnet and making sure no one else had touched her. Course if humans had seen this they would be mistified okay so the vets were already mistified by his and midgets affection for each other.

Midget saw her luckily since she was coming from the front. He huffed at her and rubbed up against her and licked her.

Jena & Ruby

Jena hadn’t been harmed, but she did carry scents of other tigers, mainly Ruby, but Flora, Rio, and the other male was on her. It would be the same with Ruby. She butted his shoulder gently with her head before running a few paces off, fully expecting him to follow in her game of catch.

Ruby returned the licks and nudged his face with her own, on the side where he could see. It seemed like all of them had ended up with some kind of injury other than Jena.

Cross eyed & Midget

Cross eyed liked it that they didn't really have to talk they did when they felt like it but they understood each other enough without it. He moved after her immediatly.

Midget laid down on his side near ruby.

Jena & Ruby

Jena saw him coming after her and kept going, her speed not full so he would catch her. Now that they were back together, she wanted a family. It was past time that she and Ruby raised their own cubs and not somebody elses.

She laid down with him, her head resting lightly on his shoulder as a couple of short chuffs came from her.

Cross Eyed & Midget

Cross eyed leaped at her intending on tackling her once again.

Midget chuffed back and then began grooming her head.

Jena & Ruby

Jena let him tackle her and chuffed out happily before forcing him off. This time she took off to the breeding grounds.

Ruby enjoyed the grooming until she saw Jena take off, no doubt Cross Eyed following. Standing up she waited on Midget, deciding to walk with him to the breeding grounds.

Cross eyed

Cross eyed chuffed back and ran after.

Midget got up and followed her.
