Blacksong
Blacksong sat underneath a tree. The barely adult brute raised his head to look at the moon. Parting his white kissers to let a low howl slip through the air, thinking he was alone with only his soft brass lullaby to entertain him. Gold orbs stared around at the scenery, before the male lowered himself to the ground, his auds pricked upon his head. His tail brushed the ground once or twice before he layed still against his side. Resting his head upon his paws, he listened to the peace of the night, licking his blood stained maw, remebering the taste of the baby deer from earlier. Yawing he revealed his pearlie whites wondering if any company would show, something else to entertain him. He was bored and some fun would be good right about now.

Pictures came and broke your heart
We can't rewind, we've gone too far
She was all alone tonight. She had been a wanderer for most of her short life; she had left the family at a young age, hoping to forge a life for herself, but it wasn't really going very well.
Technopunk loved the cold night with the soft, flower-scented breeze flowing through her thick brindle fur. There was no sound but the crickets; no light except for that from the celestial beings and the first fireflies. Then a noise hit her ears. A soft, beautiful song, more welcoming than anything she had heard before. She stood up and slowly trotted toward the singer, her dark eyes fixed on the white wolf. She stared for a moment or two, though curiosity drew her closer and prompted her to speak. "Hello." It was a soft, clear voice, almost like music in the dead of night. Finally it looked like Technopunk would make a new friend.

Blacksong
It's not a thing you'll want to miss
My music comes from my soul
It's something unworthy of me
But I still let the world hear it
Cause it's all I got left...
Blacksong looked up at the sound of another approaching. It was a canine, a female to be exact. The only thing he kept raised was his head so that golden orbs could keep a eye on the figure. She was smaller than him by a good bit, which is why he didn't get up so he wouldn't scare her or intimidate her. Hell, for all he knew she could be skittish. For a moment he wondered if he should introduce himself, but her soft hello broke his into his thoughts. Parting his music box, his lyrics poured out, sounding soft, no agression in it.
"Hi, I'm Blacksong. May I ask for the name of the pretty duchess in front of me?"
His words were slightly flirtatious, but still sociably. Her brown eyes were cute, they brought out her coat color, and vice versa. A wag of his tail was given, to show her he meant no harm to her. After she answered him, another question flowed from him.
"Do you belong to a pack?"
In this horrible place
My music keeps me alive
Slip into the night to hear it
Cause I sing best,
In the dark...
TECHNOPUNK
Technopunk's eyes met Blacksong's eyes. There was an instant connection. A beautiful love. She had not believed in love at first sight until now. It was his song, his beautiful song that had first attracted her to him. And his perfect gaze intensified it.
"Hello, Blacksong." Her words here like lyrics, though she never thought they'd be is good as his. "I am Technopunk. It is truly wonderful to meet a handsome gentleman like you." If a canine could blush, she'd be doing that right now, and the tone of her voice and her peaceful expression showed that to be true.
She paused for only a few seconds after Blacksong's latest question. "I'm afraid not." Her voice was a bit apologetic, though it looked to her like her new friend - or more than friend - might offer her a place in a pack. But she didn't say anything about that.
Blacksong
Her lyrics were so perfect sounding to his auds. At the end of her words he spoke, his voice smooth. "Technopunk, a beautiful name for a fine lady like yourself."
At her apologizing words, he spoke his voice quick to come, but still smooth and soft. "No need to apologize Technopunk, in fact I'm glad you don't, it would of been harder to be your friend if you home considered mine a enemy. I would hate that, because it would of been mighty hard to hate someone like you." He paused a moment to let his words sink in before he continued.
If you wish for a home, I belong to the Sonnet Forest pack, your welcome to join me, my father trusts my judgement. My mind and soul tells me I can trust you..." He waited for a response, never taking his eyes away from her.
TECHNOPUNK
There was a faint smile on the hybrid's face; a sort of shy expression but that still showed that she enjoyed Blacksong's company. "Thank you, Blacksong. You are truly the first to compliment on my name rather than tease me about it. It means a lot to me, and even this shows that you have a big heart."
Technopunk was once again flattered by Blacksong's kindness when he spoke again. "I have been alone for so long. I can't tell you how happy I am to meet you. And I'm glad that I was a homeless wanderer, because if I wasn't, we would never have found each other." She added onto her new friend's statement. Yes, they would do quite well together. Then Blacksong said the words she was hoping for: he offered her a home. "I happily accept your offer, Blacksong. I feel that I belong in your pack. There is a connection; I can feel it." She didn't previously believe in instant connections or love at first sight. But this might change her mind.
