Psychotic
The 190lbs coywolf had decided to go wonder from her home with her twin sister Nightshade. Her tail was above her back as her pads pushed her forward. There was a light layer of snow on the ground but not much and it melted under her paws. Padding to a spot where it was dry and snow free she just stopped there and yawned as she looked around.
Mandragoro
At 130 pounds, Mandragoro was a large wolf himself, and one of the largest of his siblings, but he didn't match the size of the large fae who's scent he'd picked up on. Stalking quietly over the snowy ground, he followed her scent out of curiosity, moving at leisure with his tail swinging pleasantly behind him and his head lowered to shoulder-level.
Goro picked up his pace to narrow the distance between him the female he was following, without quite realizing who she was or who she was related to. Her scent was familiar enough, but he never got caught up in the politics in the Valley, and only loosely followed the happenings of the Lurkers.
Psychotic
Psychotic just stood there observing the scenery till the wind changed and a scent hit her. Her fur bristled as she turned around and lowered her head in a defensive position. She didn't trust alot of others. Mainly just her family and sisters pack. Her tail stayed over her back as the male drew closer. She could tell he had been following her scent. who are you? What do you want? She spoke.
Mandragoro
He was watching her keenly when he'd finally caught up and was within view of Psychotic, and the second her fur bristled, he halted in his tracks and didn't move any closer. He wasn't one of those foul males that tried to forcebreed others; no, he pretty well hated his grandfather and knew that he was known for doing such things. Besides, Psychotic looked strong enough to defend herself against him in any case. Still, he was interested in the fae. "Mandragoro, Goro for short." The male expanded his ruff slightly, not to look threatening, but to enhance his appearance. "I was hunting for rabbits when I came across your trail. I don't mean any harm, honestly."
Psychotic
Psychotic tail twitched as she stood there watching him. Her defensivness wasn't because she thought him a rapist it was just a natural reaction. Her tail flicked to the side. PsychoticWas all she said in reply to his name. She scoffed at the reason he followed her scent. why would you stop hunting to follow my trail? You should of realized I was bigger then youShe spoke now becomeing a little well she didn't know the word as she now began to circle him. First wide circles and then they got smaller and smaller. what If i mean harm? She spoke softly.
Mandragoro
Psychotic.... That name rang a bell in his head, he was sure he'd heard it mentioned by his mother at some point or another when she was discussion things about the Valley. Had he blundered into an enemy by mistake...? Mandragoro kept his cool for the moment, even if it was a little unnerving for her to be circling him like that. He was so use to being the tough one in his pack that he rarely had to contend with threats like this, "Curiosity. I've been with my blood pack for so long, I was looking to make a break..." He decided it was best to leave off the fact that he was interested in looking for a potential mate, since he didn't know if she was already taken, and now he was wondering whether or not he'd strayed into an enemy. His hackles raised subtle when she taunted him with a threat, and his voice dropped an octave, "Then I would have to defend myself, darling."
Psychotic
Psychotic kept circling as she listened to him.Even if this male was an Enemy she could try and corrupt him or try to turn him to their side. A break? Dangerous times to leave a packShe spoke softly. Sure her sister was widely known but that was until now because Psy always stayed at home and let her sister have all the fun. But now she was deciding it was time to look for a mate as well as make her name known more instead of just being known as Nightshades Sister or even her twin. Her tail flicked and she chuckled. Sure but you would looseShe spoke softly. She was now so close that every time her tail wagged or twitched it hit him.
Mandragoro
It was hard to just stand there and let her circle him, and each pass she made, he grew more tense and on edge. "Maybe I'm a thrill seeker." Goro returned slyly, though there was a certain tension in his voice that betrayed the calm appearance he was trying to convey. He flinched once or twice when her tail brushed against him, and tried his best to work through her scent. Who was this female!? The answer was on the tip of his tongue, but he couldn't quite reach it. Mandragoro cursed himself for not paying more attention to the meetings his parents held. "I'll concede to that. Not that I wish to fight a female, that's not my way." He figured it wouldn't hurt to get on her good side, even if his morals may not stand up entirely to what he was claiming.
Psychotic
Psychotic soon stopped her body the opposite way of his so it looked like they formed a t. Her face turned toward him.Thrill seeker? A foolish one of thatSHe spoke snapping at him yet not meaning to get him. Her tail flicked. Not his way? She snorted. well i suppose thats good to know. Though I know your not use to encountering a female who is stronger and bigger then yourselfSHe smirked. She wondered what Nightshade would think of her little game with this male.
Mandragoro
His attempt at keeping a calm, cool demeanor was broken when he jerked his head back and laced his ears back for a second when she snapped at his direction. He wasn't sure whether to be aggravated by her aggression and nerve, or... intrigued? One thing was for certain- he was just a little nervous. If this fae meant to attack him, he'd been in a sore spot. "Foolish maybe, but I've definitely found quite a thrill." The white-furred brute forced a chuckle, trying his best to remain relaxed and not show his fear. With a deep sigh, Goro released a puff of breath that clouded in the air before him. His almond eyes remained fast on Psychotic, and he held himself as high as he dared, "No, I have to say I've never run into a gal of your stature before, Psychotic. You've probably got all the males after you, huh?"
Psychotic
She listened to his words a small smirk on her face as she listened. A thrill? Well he was definetly an interesting fellow wasn't he? She watched his breath and sneezed shaking her head a bit.Thats suprising in ways, For my twin sister is quiet widely known so I have a hard time beliving that you've never run into someone my size...SHe smirked and shrugged. IF i do have males after me I haven't notice. This is the only second time i've actually willfully wondered from my homeShe spoke.
Mandragoro
"Your sister, what's her name?" Maybe this would help answer the question about who this female was and who were relations were in the Valley. Not that he paid too much heed to any of that anyway, unless he was called upon to defend the Lurkers. "Ahh, so you haven't been out to explore the Valley at all...?" When she didn't snap at him again or otherwise threaten him, Mandragoro dared to try and get on her good side again, if only to keep himself from getting slaughtered if she had it in mind to start some trouble. And if that went well... well, he'd see where things went from here. After all, despite how she instilled such nervousness in him, he was still rather fascinated by this confident wolfess. "It's twice as fun exploring with company, than it is on your own."
Psychotic
She tilted her head a bit to the side.Nightshade, are mother was Honey and our father was KahviHer lip twitched at the mention of her mother. Saydin would pay....Her tail flicked. She then shook her head. No, I never found the outside world appealing really. Too much drama and I know my self If i loose my temper I will hurt innocent peopleShe spoke. She had a short temper. Yes I suppose that is the truth, but I know my sister would travel with me where ever I would want to go if I asked herShe spoke calmly.
Mandragoro
The names she produced did ring a bell in the hybrid's mind. Nightshade was... an ally, wasn't she? He couldn't quite remember... but no matter, he didn't take stalk in such things anyway. "I think I've heard of them." He was still watching her, and taking note of the 'short temper' she mentioned. It was a good thing he hadn't decided to bristle up and threaten her back when she had first started circling him! "So you're more of a family sort? I'm that way as well, and look after my own. But doesn't it ever get bored staying in once place so long? Don't you ever get the urge to stretch your legs and go exploring?" Her temper seemed to have settled a little, giving Mandragoro more leeway in talking with her without worrying whether she were going to suddenly attack him. He hoped she wouldn't anyway.
Psychotic
Psychotic watched him and snorted. If you haven't then you've most likely lived a secluded lifeShe spoke calmly her tail flicking side to side. She soon sat down as he spoke and she shrugged. I don't care to explore really. Whats there to it? She spoke calmly yawning and showing her large pearly white teeth.
Mandragoro
This time, Mandragoro gave a snort and tilted his head a little to the side, finally dropping away a little from the tension that had risen in him, "Oh, it's not that. I just don't pay attention to all the news that goes around, you know? I focus on looking after myself and my family, and that's plenty enough drama for me." He explained. Testing her mood a little, Goro stretched a little and gave himself a quick shake to show that he was no longer intimidated by Psychotic, "Well, for one... you get to meet new wolves, like me." The male's fangs were bared in a slight grin, flirting just a little.
Psychotic
Psychotic sat there and lifted a paw up and began cleaning it.I supposeShe spoke softly. Her tail flicked on the ground.Yes I guess thats trueShe spoke her eyes wondering aorund now. She wondered what her twin was up to at the moment. She was feeling mischeivous and wanted to cause trouble..
Mandragoro
Seeing the fae sit down was a good sign because it told him she wasn't as inclined as before to assault him. Taking the cue, Mandragoro sat down so that he was facing her, "Looks like I've talked you out of murdering me?" When he chuckled after this comment, it wasn't as forced as his previous chuckle. "I see you're thinking about something..." The movement of her eyes caught his attention, mostly because they were no longer focused on him, "...what's on your mind?"
Psychotic
She sat there and listened.Oh no im still considering itShe spoke softly. If you didn't know her you wouldn't know she was partially joking. Her eyes snapped back to him. Nothing that concerns youShe spoke her tail flicked.
Mandragoro
Unfortunately, he didn't know her enough to decide whether she was joking or not, and was tempted to stand up and put some space between himself and her. Yet he didn't, whether it was because he was truly foolish, or because he was sort of enjoying this conversation with Psychotic. "You've got a lot of spunk." Once again, his muscles grew taunt, ready to spring away if she made good on her threat, "Oh? Tell me, what do you do for fun, Psychotic? You don't like exploring, so surely there's something else you do to pass the time?"
Psychotic
She watched him and snorted. She yawned again and then shrugged. Tormenting my siblings I supposeShe spoke calmly yet with a sinister tone.
Mandragoro
To that he raised an eye, still unsure whether she was joking or not. Although... considering her antics when he first introduced himself, he decided she was probably telling the truth on this one. "You sound an awful lot like my uncle, Atticus." He murmured a little dryly. "What about Nightshade? She's as big as you isn't she? It must make it difficult to torment her... I can't place my mind on it, but she does sound very familiar. What pack are you guys from, if you don't mind me asking?"
Psychotic
Her tail flicked. His uncle? She couldn't place the name so she just shrugged. She chuckled. No I don't toremnt her she is my equal in all waysShe smirked. Oh yes she saw most others as lower then herself. She loved to flaunt her strength and weight.
Mandragoro
Little by little, he was starting to see the other side of this hybrid, and finding his attraction to her slipping away, "...so you're one of those kinds." The slight grin that had taken form on his mouth subtly disappeared, and with it, most of the curiosity in his voice, "What pack are you from?" Now more interested in figuring out exactly who she was and who she was affiliated to, Mandragoro pressed his question again.
Psychotic
She shrugged at his words. In ways she was in ways she wasn't.toklat CanyonShe spoke calmly. Her tail flicking sending the soft layer of snow around.
Mandragoro
If nothing else, he could use this information and relay it to his mother, who could fill him in better about who this fae was. "I'm afraid I haven't heard much about them. Like I said, I don't really keep track of politics all that well." He chose this time to stand up and stretch his front limbs momentarily. Should I leave? Or should I keep trying? He thought about it; torn on whether he should just part ways, or whether he should stick it out and see if he could get to know her better. "I suppose I better get on with my hunting..." He took a step to turn away, but paused to look back at her, "...I wouldn't mind a little company, if you're hungry that is. I figure we can take something bigger than a rabbit down with a bit of teamwork."
Psychotic
Psychotic yawned and shrugged. I don't pay much attention eitherShe spoke softly and then stood up as well. I suppose i could hunt, i am hungry and I don't think my sister needs meShe spoke yawning and shaking her pelt.
Mandragoro
That was a positive sign, and sort of countered his previous assumption that this was one of those egotistical, trod on everybody kind of canines that were near impossible to get along with. Maybe there was hope for something here...? Even if that 'something' was simply making a friend out of Psychotic, Goro would be happy with that. If not, he couldn't say he didn't try. "Have any type of food in mind? I was thinking of the Bog, where the moose might be slowed by all the snow there."
Psychotic
Psychotic tilted her head to the side as he spoke and she sniffed the air.yes moose sounds perfectShe spoke and then picked up a light trot toward the bog
Mandragoro
He dared to let his tail swish a few times, starting again to feel some encouragement about this interaction. Everything was so uncertain about this fae, and her attitude and personality so hard to figure out, yet he was feeling optimistic once again. "I can taste them now!" If one thing was clear, Psychotic stood out as a domineering creature, and as much as Goro was an independent and confident creature, he let her take the lead to the Bog.
