Tyrror & Ruffienne
Tyrror broke into a fresh gallop as he hit the golden grass of the prairie. Once he hit the heartland, he pivoted to look for his ebony sister. The dappled king snorted, knowing this battle could be the end of him, or her. Tyrror smirked, he had a secret weapon. Mamba, his poisonous snake friend, had slithered up into his thick, black mane.
Ruffienne sprinted after Tyrror, galloping hard to reach him. "This is the end, brother!"
The reared up and clashed, battling harshly. It was ten minutes before Mamba launched out of Tyrror's mane and struck the black mane in the chest. Ruffienne stumbled back, her eyes wide with agony. She lunged at Tyrror and brought him to the ground. Next, she crushed his skull. It was an immediate death. Mamba retreated soon after.
Ruffienne fell down to her knees, peering at her brother. "How sad for us to die like this..."
Comet
Comet comming up saw the final clashes that sent both horses down to the ground. He heard Nuri's cry of pain, once she realized her mate was dead. Wanting revenge she came up on Comet's 'blind' side. She struck her neck, much like a snake, her teeth tearing into Comet's neck. It was a fatal wound that wouldn't heal in time. Skif struck out, getting Nuri, the same time that Comet's backhooves caught Nuri. She fell dead to the ground. Comet went to his mate for comfort for the last parts of their lives. "At least our friends, children, and family will be in peace, my love."
Ruffienne
Ruffienne panted, her blood felt like it was thinning. Ruffienne reached out and touched his neck, trying to focus through the blurs and tears. "I love you, Comet. I've always had, and I always will..." she choked and gasped for breath, her body shutting down. "Thank you. A mare couldn't have a better mate."
Comet
Comet held his neck upon her's as his breathing became less and less. He was losing blood with each breath and words as he spoke back in a raspy whisper.
"I have and always will love you Ruffienne. Nobody else is more perfect for me."
His eyes closed as his body relaxed. Comet's body grew lifeless and cold, showing that he had passed away.
