Izzy

Izzy trotted into the tall grass's almost dissapearing beneath it. The main meal here were rodents but to a fox that would be enough. She stopped and looked back and waited for her clan to gather "This is were we will be staying, I will leave for short periods of time and when I am not here, do not talk to an foxs out side of our pack. If they are not in our pac then they are not aloud with in the den sites. Do not exit the den in the mornings unless you have a partner or every ones awake and alert some one when you go down the water trails. I don't want to risk loosing any more lives." She was giving strict commands but they were for her pack safty. She couldn't trust any one out side of the pack any more, not with them being close to the waters still. She dug out four shallow ditchs, "We'll work on these and turn this into our den site, two people at the least at every shallow ditch I dug, I want these done by tonight and tomarrow we can rest and hunt." She nodded as if to say she was done and turned to one of the hole and began to dig. Oceara joined her mom, Kit and Savior walked over to two of them. They would switch on and off with the foxs who didn't have holes.

Chantilly

Chantilly came here with her tail waving in the air. Being so small her body easily weaved through the grass. The bronze color made her silvery coat stand out, but Chantilly wasn't worried. She hadn't lost all of her muscle tissue just yet. In fact she still had much of it left. Smiling she frolicked through the grass like she was a kit again. Than she stopped dead when she saw Izzy's group. What were they doing here she wondered. She backed up hoping no one had smelled her. She watched them silently eyes fearful. Would they try to attack her like Tonic did? Her scent was blowing in the direction that Savior was.

The other foxes helped with the den sites. Slasher spoke to Savior. "I'll take the first shift...I wish to spend time with Izzy after she's done with her share of the digging...That is if you don't mind." He figured if they started at the same time they'd be done at the same time on the first shift. He wasn't using his nose or else he would of smelled Chantilly.

Savior

Savior nodded, it wasn't like he was going to argue that. He walked over to a small patch and laid down. It didn't take long for him to pick up the scent of another fox. He stood up and ran over the options in his mind, Tell Izzy or Investigate. His mind said to tell Izzy but his instincts said ivestigate. He looked over and caught a flash of white. He quietly stalked over to the source. When he found Chantilly he froze. "Chantilly?" He stood only feet away and he didn't know if she was dangeruse still or if she had calmed down now she was with her mother again.

Chantilly

Chantilly too busy watching them didn't hear Savior approaching. When he came she jumped and moved to bolt. Than she froze realizing it was only one fox, not Izzy and the whole group. She turned back around to see Savior. Ears pricked she replied. "Savior. What are...all of you doing here?" She spoke softly in her normal voice, not the one she used when she had killed all of those animals. She sat down, but it was clear her muscles were tensed to flee if she needed too. Her eyes watched him cautiously. Was he going to attack her like Tonic did?

Savior

Savior looked back, "We decided it wasn't safe for us there. So we left, your mother didn't tell you?" He seemed a bit confused. He was larger than the last time he had seen her. He looked like a silver arctic fox the size of a red fox. "You really shouldn't be here. My mom would flip." He sounded concerned. He glanced back to the clan to make sure no one saw them and the back to her. She was still some what young compared to him. His Almond eyes fell on her once more, "What are you doing here?" He asked realizing that she probably shouldn't have been wandering around.

Chantilly

Chantilly replied softly, but her words were fierce. "I am exploring, and I won't leave till I'm done. Your mother can go ahead and flip. These lands don't belong to her as much as the sun belongs to the moon. She can't claim lands that are free. Other animals and foxes live here. She may think I am tresspassing, but I am exploring free ground." She had a fiery spirit and wasn't afriad to show it. That was clear by the fierce determination in her eyes. She was like her mother, and that was clear. She waited for his reply hoping she hadn't offended him. She was only speaking her mind and the truth. She had as much right to be here as he did. "And no my mother didn't tell me. I left before she returned. Izzy and her didn't get in a fight did they?" She spoke concern in her voice. She may not like Izzy, but she held slight respect for the female, even if it was starting to get less and less.

Savior

Savior frowned "My mother hasn't claimed this area. Nor does she plan on claiming it." He gave her a seriuse look. "She moved us here to get away from your pack, who she felt was a threat. She doesn't want to fight with your pack. All shes doing is taking care of the foxs who felt she could." He looked back to see if it was his shift yet. "So what I am saying is that she feels your a threat and that she wouldn't hesitate to attack you if you get to close to her pack mates. Shes older and stronger than both of us and theres no hiding from that fact." He sounded deadly seiriuse, and when he mentioned the she was stronger than even him it was some thing to think about. He may have appeared as an arctic fox but he was built like a red.

Izzys digging slowed slightly as her anger evaporated. Finally she stopped and looked for some one to take her shift. She hadn't notice Chantillys scent yet.

Chantilly

Chantilly listened silently. She understood, but that still wasn't going to keep her away. If Izzy attacked her, she would simply be attacking for no reason. Chan hated to think it, but if she was hurt for no reason Suzanne would get a hot head. Izzy might end up like Tonic that way, and if she didn't think about that she was really stupid. However Chan knew she could get away fast enough if Izzy attacked her, but could Izzy get away from the back fire it would cause?

"Why? I haven't done nothing to your mother or her group. Besides since your pack hates me so much, why don't you..?"

Slasher stopped, but Colic took over for him since Savior wasn't around. Riler took over Izzy's spot to give her a break. Slasher approached his mate cautiously, wondering if she was still pissed off.

Savior

Savior shook out his fur lightly "My mothers just taking procautions. Your scent was on Tonics body. She could mistake that as you helped. I don't believe in hate. Its a emotional waste." He sat down trying not to make any noise. He was right, if his mother did see her she would try to chase her away from her pack, it was the only way she could keep them safe.

Izzy sneezed and streached glancing at Slasher. She sat down and watched him. She looked emotionless almost.

Chantilly

Chantilly watched him as she listened. She couldn't help it, her body bristled at the mention of Tonic. When she spoke her voice even held slight fear. Tonic had acted like a deranged fool when he attacked her, and it had scared Chantilly. If it hadn't of been for Suzanne, Chantilly might have died.

"He attacked me, he wouldn't stop fighting. My mom had to kill him, she wasn't mean enough to keep fighting him like that and cause him serious harm...besides he started it and wouldn't stop."

She looked at her paws hiding her eyes from him. Chantilly didn't want to show him her fear. No, she was too stubborn to do that. She wanted to be known as brave and fearless not a coward. Her body was still tense to flee, in case some one came along.

Slasher came closer to Izzy. He attepted to groom her his body moving to sit by her, their pelts touching. "Izzy relax. Their all the way at Pike's Lake, and Suzanne has no reason to follow us that I can think of. She has plenty of resources now that we've left. Please, cheer up." His voice was soft and kind as he spoke to her. Wonders of wonder, Slasher had really fallen in love with Izzy.

Savior

Savior frowned "Im sorry. I compleatly understand it was to protect your selves. Now that I think about it I wonder if he caught rabies or some thing along those lines." He looked at the ground as he thought about what might have led him to do such a thing. He turned his dark brown eyes back to her. "It must have scared you." He gave her an encuraging smile.

Izzy looked at the ground infront of her. "I know..." She looked back at him and smiled weakly. She nuzzled him and looked around at their pack. It was one fox less than before, bad. They could really use the extra help. She sighed and smiled, they would be fine though. Now they were away from Suzanne she didn't have to worry about much.

Chantilly

Chantilly perked her ears at the mention of rabies. Oh, maybe that was it she thought. Yeah, he could of infested other foxes. It might of been a good thing Suzane killed him than. She spoke again her voice a bit cheered up. In the back of her mind she half worried that would smell her. Her scent should of hit everywhre by now near the den site, so one wiff and she would be detected.

"Yeah, maybe he did get rabies. I hope he didn't harm anyone though. Maybe my mom put him out of his misery. It was terrifying actually, I though I might of been seriously sick."

Slasher continued to groom her, his eyes lightly taking in his surroundings. He wondered if his words had been the right thing to say. He didn't want to let her down, no it would only cause her more stress. The best thing was for Suzanne and them to never come face to face with Izzy again.

Savior

Savior smiled when Chanilly cheered up slghtly "Yeah. I don't think Tonic would have just attacked you two. I would think he would woken Izzy up and report that you two were on our side."

Izzy suddenly caught Chantillys scent and stood up her ears perked forward and she was on full alert. It took her a few minutes to identify the smell as Chantilly but she did, and she was pissed. She didnt say any thing instead she went abround and counted all the foxes and whispered to each one as she passed them to quiet down. She walked back to Slasher to tally up who was all there. She paused when she realized it was her own son who was gone. Not only was it her kit but it was the one kit who would never hurt another being. She quietly used her ears like sonar disks, she was waiting for a noise so she could figure out were the fox was. She heard Saviors voice and jumped forward and trotted towar the sound of his voice. She stopped out of their veiw and down wind. She listened quietly for a few minutes before speaking "Savior." She glared at him and walked out of the grass and inbetween the two. "I told you not to talk to them!" She snarled and glared at Chantilly "What are you doing at the prairie? I thought your mother wouldn't let you wander out after tonic attacked you two..." She didn't believe that Tonic would b stupid enough to try to take on two foxes at once. She looked angery but not like she was going to attack any one, there was a slightly relieved look in her eyes to see only Chantilly and that her kit was okay. Though she did not release he glare.

Chantilly

Chantilly was about to reply when Izzy suddenly appeared. Chan backed up feet bracing the ground ready to dash away. Seeing that Izzy wasn't going to attack, she stopped for a moment to listen to what the fox said. Chantilly answered without hesitating as she glared back at Izzy.

"I can go where I please, the prarie isn't claimed by anyone. Besidies I figured you guys weren't around here, and back at Pike's Lake. That is till I saw you guys here...I also left before my mother returned so she couldn't of told me."

Savior

Savior was quiet he knew his mother would wait a little before deciding how to react to Chantilly. Izzy snarled "I never said it was claimed. I believe its rude to speak back to an alpha in such a way, weither you are in my pack or just passing by." She was thinking about what to do, chase her a safe distance away or send a full on attack. "It would be wise for you to leave this part of the prairie, at least." She sounded siriuse and she readied her self to fight. She didn't trust Chantilly expectially after what Chant had done in the past. Izzy snarled and her fur bristled. She wasn't going to take no for an answer.

Chantilly

Chantilly simply let Izzy rant on with a exasperated look on her face. Once the female fox finished did Chantilly spoke slowly as it to make Izzy understand. "Your claiming it if your trying to make me leave. If you didn't claim it, than I DON'T have to leave. I also don't care if you think it's rude, because your are NOT my alpha. I can go where I please, you have no hold on me, Izzy. You put one scratch on me, my mother will consider that an attack, and than it'll be war for our two groups. Surely you don't want that, cause I know I don't."

Slasher and the others came up to see what was going on. They stopped, watching their leaders to give them a signal.
