Blind Seer
Blind Seer padded softly in the grass keeping his steps light. Being a larger wolf he ate more than normal, and was feeling the normal pang of hunger. Fur fluttering lightly in the breeze the male slid through the long grass almost as skillfully as a snake could have. His large ears were pinned forward listening to any sound that could be some small game. In this grass I doubt I could find anything. he thought to himself as his crystal eyes watched the ocean of grass for any movement besides himself. Stopping on a dime Blind Seer’s body become tense as he swirled around trying to pin point the sound he had just heard. Dropping to his belly the male moved forward ears practically tilted forward against his head to listen to the small rabbit he was tracking.
In a few seconds the big wolf launched his body forward snapping his massive jaws around the rabbit breaking its neck right away. Standing up, tail wagging, Blind Seer trotted to a very sunny place making a circle in the grass for him to lie down. Lying down he licked the blood from the rabbit before tearing into it eating the meat happily. Even thought the rabbit was small he was proud of his small catch. When the rabbit was practically gone he rolled onto his back soaking in the sun. Soon Blind Seer was drifting off to sleep the sweet small of grass lulling him to sleep on a full belly.
Kalei
The snowy fae had managed to convince her over bearing sister that she was more than capable of navigating the strange land on her own. Blind since birth, her other senses were over developed and she faired well on her own. Her movement was graceful as she made her way through the grass, using her scense of smell to keep her away from any possible threats. Luckily, she hadn't scented anything dangerous and was merely enjoying the free world around her. Her packland was still flooded or else she might not have ventured from it. Despite loving exploration, she still had a hard time leaving her home.
After some time passed, Kalei stopped her motion and shut her pink eyes, inhaling the smell before her. Some feet away there was a male wolf, one whom she did not know. His scent mingled with the blood of a rabbit, which to her was a good sign he was not a human killer. Goining against the wind, she continued forward at a quicker pace, interested to meet the brute. He would likly not smell her until she was upon him due to the wind blowing away from him. Finally when she knew she was only a few feet away she stopped, her head tilting down towards his scent and eyes pointing at him as if she really could see.
