Sandial

The cream mare trotted over the white lands. Her White hooves lifting up and the light laying apon the soft snow. Her light blue eyes stood out in the almost colorless lands. Her cream mane bounced with every step. She looked like a picture. Beautiful.

Montrell

The stocky frame of a dun stallion stood out greatly in the colorless scenery of snow all around him. In response to the cold temperatues, his coat had lengthened an inch or so to allow him better protection against the weather. Black legs were continuously lifted up out of the white packed up powder and then shoved back downward with a powerful thrust so he didn't trip over any unsuspecting ice layers or anything of the like. Suddenly he found himself stuck in a deep drift after he stepped down what he guessed was a little ridge forming off the land. Ah, great... He snorted, as though talking to himself. Well maybe he was. He hadn't seen another soul for a long time.
That's when his dark eyes landed on the form of another equine out in the prairie. Still plucking his hooves out from the deeper snow and placing them softly onto more accurate ground, he gave a whinny. His black tipped ears flickered forward, hoping for and somewhat expecting a reply. He wouldn't approach someone who didn't want to have a little wintery chat.

Sandial

Sandials gaze fell apon the stallion. She stopped and snorted back. She turned to face him. Her eye's appeared almost ghost like. Two light blue iresess looked right at him. The body and back ground were all pale colors. She trotted twards him her soft gaze sticking to his. She stopped feet away. "Hello." Her voice was soft and feathery. She dipped her head and smiled. Being a horse she smiled with her eyes.

Montrell

Montrell, having finally aquired some secure footing, shook his body free of any stray snowflakes that previously landed on his back and otherwise just managed to get caught in his longer coat, and looked at her. He was a bit startled at first, or mesmerized, however you'de want to put it. Her eyes were light and colorful, proving to be a pretty good contrast compared to her otherwise hueless pelt. He watched her intently yet with a soft gaze, returning hers with a seemingly confident smile, for whatever reason. "Hello," he replied to her, giving his head a bob and causing his black forelock to fall over his own brown eyes. "My name's Montrell." he introduced himself to her, still quite interested in sparking up a conversation.

Sandial

Sandial snorted "My name's Sandial..." She said in her soft hushed tone. Her cream mane blew in the wind giving her the mystical look she normaly has. "I'm new here..." She said quickly trying to strike up a conversation. Her eyes fell to his. Their was soft yet hard to turn away from. Her tail flickered and she snorted.

Montrell

Montrell watched her, eyes locked on hers the entire time, yet glancing away every once in a while. He didn't want to seem strange yet he did feel a bit out of place here. He lifted his head a little more when he discovered she was new. "What do y'know, I'm new around these parts, too." he stated, giving his head the slightest of tilts at that moment. He then looked around. It wasn't very apparent to him on just how far he'de traveled to reach this place, but he liked it so far, he'de suppose. It was, well, different, in a way. It was just the kind of change he needed though.

Sandial

Sandial smiled once more. "Cool how far into these lands have you gotten?" Sandial said softly.

Montrell

Montrell looked at her a moment longer before his eyes lowered to the powdered white snow to think. Now that he thought about it, he really hadn't gotten so far into the lands as he'de like to think. He still figured there was plenty of space left to fill as far as his single self went, yet he was looking forward to exploring this new region whether it was just himself or not. "Now that I think of it, I haven't gotten far. This is all I've seen," he answered with a deep, refreshing breath of the cool air. Now it was just a matter of getting himself on the move.

Sandial

Sandial giggled "We can explore together if you want." She senced that he wanted to move on and explore more tof the lands. "I have only seen this part but I'm sure that there are some nice places out there..."

Montrell

Montrell was a bit startled at her question but didn't need to give it much thought. He was a bit unsure about it, but knew he would need some kind of company out here. He had been on his own for a while now and it just got to be a boring lifestyle. She must be tired of it too, but he couldn't be sure. He didn't have any good reason to turn it down, so why not? "That'de be a nice change," He bobbed his head. "Yes, many nice places." Although they all appear the same now... he thought silently to himself about the snow. It was everywhere and made things look similar. He enjoyed it for the simple idea of a change of backdrop. "I hear there are some old ruins around here..." he said, his pelt coincidentally twitching after he said that.

Sandial

Sandial looked around. "Well there sure aren't near here..." She said quietly. She walked in a circle and then turned to follow the male.

Montrell

The Kiger's ears flickered and he tilted his head. He wondered if she was a bit apprehensive at his mentioning of ruins. He gave his long black mane a toss and looked at her. "I don't think they're too far." he stated, wondering then if his little 'adventurous' side was beginning to show. In all honesty, he had no idea how far the ruins were from here, but he had a feel of direction for them. He watched her as she readied to follow him, an ear constantly twisted to hear her. Taking this as a sign to just start walking, he picked up a slow trot through the snow.
