Ranger; Ozark; Susan; Gracie; Blue Wind

The Texas Longhorn led his harem through the snow. They were looking for much-needed grazing grounds, but there was barely any grass in sight. The new spring grass hadn't grown yet and snow still covered most of the ground.

They stopped at a small clearing where the snow had partly melted and there was a bit of green visible on the ground. Susan was the first to eat, since she had a calf to feed. She allowed Gracie to nurse before lying down and letting the others get their fill.

Ranger kept an eye out for danger. There were many animals here, some harmless, but some very dangerous...

Joco,Suzy,Sid

Joco snorted as he had been made a huge area for his mate to lie down and give birth. He stood gaurd. He saw the others and he pawed the ground. They had a pack they belonged to but they were also their own little heram of two and soon to be three.he watched the bull.

Suzy had given birth to a bull calf and cleaned it and then stood to allow the new born to nurse while she grazed.

Sid nursed vigurlsy

Ranger; Ozark; Susan; Gracie; Blue Wind; Texas; Lacy; Safari; Blue Dog

Ranger watched Joco and the others from a distance. He appeared to be friendly, for now.

Gracie had her eyes on the other calf. Could he be a playmate?

They were soon joined by Texas and Lacy - Ranger's mother and father - Safari, as well as Blue Dog.

Suzy

Suzy let out a long moo to the others but would not hesitate to attack if they threatened her calf.

Sid finished nursing and looked out towards the others but couldn't see the calf for the snow was too high for the new born.He soon layed down to sleep

He snorted and grazed

Ranger

Ranger glanced at Suzy, but quickly looked back at Joco. "I am Ranger, son of Texas and Lacy. Who are you?" He asked rather dully.

Ozark moved up beside Ranger, watching the others carefully.

Joco

Joco watched Ranger and tossed his head in warning.I am Joco,This is my herd Suzy and our son Sidhe spoke standing proudly.

Suzy just listened.

Sid slept

Ranger

Ranger tossed his own head in warning. "My herd consists of Texas, Lacy, Ozark, Susan, Gracie, Blue Wind, Safari, the dog Blue Dog, and soon another calf." He informed proudly and dominantly. He had just taken over his father's herd, although his father threatened to take it back.

Joco

He listened to him and nodded his head.PleasureHe spoke. He pawed the ground and then looked around.

Suzy yawned and nippled at Joco's hide.

Sid soon woke up and struggled to his feet.He stumbled and fell a few times before succesfully gaining his balance.

Ranger

Ranger was pleased that they seemed to be making progress. He lowered his defenses somewhat, watching the calf attempt to stand.

Gracie went as close to Sid as the parents would allow, smiling. "I'm Gracie." She said politely, but shyly.

Suzy

she watched and then lowered her head to eat.She let the other calf come close but wouldn't allow her to play with her son.

Sid looked at the other female.I AM S S SidHe said sounding out his name to himself. He wasn't use to speaking yet.Y You G Gracie?

He stood gaurd in case of any danger.

Gracie

Gracie smiled and giggled playfully. "Hello, Sid. That's a nice name you have." She said politely.

Sid

He listened.Yo Your's is P P Prettyhe spoke.

Gracie

Gracie blushed. "Thank you." She said humbly. "Do you want to be friends?"

Sid

Yes!he said and then felt his mothers tongue on him cleaning him.

Gracie

Gracie's eyes widened with joy. "Great! Maybe, if we ask our parents, maybe we can play together!" She said excitedly.
