Kilandra

The slender shape of a female wolf slipped between the tall stalks of grass, until she reached a large cluster of boulders. In one lithe movement the lept up onto the smooth surface of the stone. Her black splashed silver fur caught the sun, giving her fur a soft sheen. From the top of the rocks she could see for a far distance around her, which pleased her. She never liked being surprised. Her unusual sea green eyes flicked here and there, her ears following suit. Satisfied that she was alone, she lay on the warm rocks for a sun bath.

Karitania, Thesarios & Domnio

Keen eyes watched Kilandra as she moved through the grass. Those eyes never once moved, and followed her as she jumped up onto the cluster of rocks.

"Thesarios, sitting there is not what you were told to do. Go and..."

"Shhh! I'm watching someone."

"Oh yeah? I don't believe you."

"Domnio, I swear. Look. See that bundle of rocks. Look on it. There's a wolf."

"I see. You think she's alone or in a pack?"

"No idea, but there's something about her that I like." Thesarios stood up, now glancing over his shoulder to look at his Gamma, Domnio. "Should we go talk to her?"

"I don't see why not," mused Domnio, drawing level with his pack mate, "unless Karitania disagrees."

"Hmmm...I'm going to go and talk to her. If she has a pack, maybe we can become allies, if not, we could always invite her into ours, right?"

"Well, we should probably ask Karitania..."

"Ask me what?" The alphess questioned, joining her two pack mates as they watched Kilandra. The Mexican Grey wolf radiated authority, as her golden eyes spotted the black wolfess atop her rock.

"If we should go and talk to her." Domnio said, directing his muzzle towards Kilandra.

Without another word, Karitania advanced on the cluster of rocks, smiling in a business-like manner. Close behind her were Domnio and Thesarios. When they were within a few feet of Kilandra, Karitania coughed twice, her stunning golden eyes fixed on the femme before her. "Hello, friend. My name is Karitania, alphess of the Ribellarsi pack. Who might you be?"

Kilandra

Her ears flicked over to the voice, and soon her eyes followed, an eerie sea green. She met the golden eyes briefly before glancing at the the other wolves, lingering on the one called Thesarios. She had over heared most of their conversation due to a fortunate shift in the wind, but she wold not tell them that.

"Hello, Karitania. I am Kilandra. A pleasure to meet you."

She dipped her maw in respect to the she-wolf, her eyes occasionally straying to the male wolf by her side. She knew her eyes could be...off setting at best, and so she gave the leader her full attention.

Diseased

He moved with a swiftness that he prided himself on, and a silence that few could ever detect, but he made no move to silence himself now. Quietly he moved behind Karitania, and then spoke in a soft voice Hello, love. Why not just drop in on an old friend? The black male smiled darkly at the alphess, an alpha in his own pack, or at least what was left of it. His bright green eyes surveyed Kilandra, but it was with a cool acceptance. He wasn't a playful sort, more of a dark, quiet, and dangerous fellow with a lot of time on his hands now that many of his pack were out and about. Softly in Karitanias ear he murmered Remember me? Then he smiled faintly at Thesarios, and Domino. The black and white male was a pain in the ass for some, but..... The devil couldn't stop him even if he tried. He remembered a time, long ago, that he and Karitania had been at the Lake with the others.... So many others. All the time. Again he glanced to Kilandra, waiting for her to speak.

Karitania, Domnio, Thesarios

Unknown to the three that Kilandra had overheard their conversation, Karitania lfted her head slightly in the manner of an alphess, her golden eyes fixed on the wolfess in front of her. The other's pleasant attitude was a positive mark in the leaders book, and she allowed herself to smile as Kilandra dipped her head in respect. I like her... was her thought, as she started to reply,

"A pleasure to meet you too, Kilandra. I have..."

A familiar voice caught her attention, and her ear swivelled to face Diseased. A genuinely bright smile lit the alphess' face as she turned to her Gamma, nodding to him to continue what she had started while she spoke with her friend. Stepping away from Kilandra with a friendly nod, Karitania motioned to Diseased to follow, and she walked away a few feet for them to talk.

"Of course I remember you! How could I forget you?" she grinned, tipping her head to the side ever so slightly as she fixed her golden eyes on his.

"I thought you'd left me, so I decided to merge with another pack. Domnio used to lead his own pack, but became my Gamma so that we would both have the protection of bigger numbers. Then I found a few more members, and we're currently deciding if we have a place to call home yet."

Pausing, she glanced over to her packmates, before turning back to Diseased. "I trust you and your pack are well?"

Domnio, after watching his alphess walk away, smiled at Kilandra, as Thesarios came over to join him. "Hello, Kilandra. I am Domnio, and this is Thesarios. Our alphess was just about to propose something to you." Thesarios grinned at Kilandra, noticing her lingering gaze on him. Her eyes had definately caught his attention. She had caught his attention. "What both Domnio and Karitania are trying to say is," he butted in, ignoring the glare he got from Domnio, "would you like to join our pack?"

Kilandra

She had watched the alphess walk away with the wolf that had crept you as they spoke, and she felt her hackels raise slighty. She wasn't sure why, but something about that wolf and made her uneasy. She tried to shake it off, but it was like a flea you couldn't reach to scratch. She couldn't help but listen as the two spoke, curiosity being one of the few puppy traits that she never lost. She told herself that if they cared if she heard they would have moved further away. It was always interesting to know other wolves pasts, and she wanted to know what was about this wolf that bothered her.

When the other wolves approached, she turned her attention fully to them, not wanting to seem rude. She smiled back at them both, her unusual green eyes flickering between both of them.

"Hello Domino, Thesarios," She dipped her head to them, Her eyes meeting his for just a moment. Her smile faded at the mention of his pack. "I already belong to a pack. I just joined a few days ago. I'm so sorry. Otherwise I would." Her eyes darted back to the strange male, and she was glad that he wasn't part of their pack.

She felt odd being so high above the other wolves, so she lept down from the boulders to land not far from them. Her tail wagged slow arcs behind her as she watched them. She hoped that they wouldn't leave now, just because she couldn't join them.

Domnio & Thesarios

Thesarios was quick to notice Diseased's effect on Kilandra, and whilst he tried to ignore the fact that he bothered her, he found it difficult. Then, a sudden urge to protect her came over him, and he found himself glaring at his alphess' friend. Praying that Diseased, and Karitania hadn't seen his glare, he listened to her explain her pack situation; his heart sank.

"Oh, well, never mind. We just wanted to know."

His eyes met hers, and their unusual colour captivated him, even when she jumped down from the rock. "You have very beautful eyes, Kilandra." His voice was a deep murmer, and a smile brightened his face as his tail too began to sway behind him.

"Prehaps," Domnio questioned, taking on board his Gamma duties, "Our pack and yours could become allies. We have a few allied packs, and one more is always great?"

Kilandra

If wolves could blush, her cheeks would have become a bright shade of red when he complimented her. She had always been told that her eyes were strange, or unnerving, but never beautiful. It made a small spark of warmth form in her heart and she found herself wanting to feel more of it.

The spell was broken when Domino spoke, and she turned to him reluctantly.

"That would be wonderful, but you would have to speak with my alpha, Kahota of Sunset Beach. He's been kind enough to let a wolf like me join and I think he would agree to become allies."

Her tail began to wag eagerly. Maybe they wouldn't leave just yet. She wanted to know why he sparked this feeling in her. It was unlike anything else she had felt before.

Diseased

His eyes wandered to Kilandra, and a dark smile flashed across ebony lips. It wasn't a smile a nice wolf would call charming, but what could he do? Turning his attention back to his..... Well.... He didn't know what to call her. Love? Yes. He thought maybe this feeling in his chest was love. That tight, gut wrenching, I'm going to vomit from these butterlies feeling he got whenever he was close to her. My pack? Ah.... Well..... They're doing alright. Cutter and depression are still around. Insanity sticks around, but Pschyopath.... Ah..... Never mind. She just went off. I fear, however, that I bear some bad news. He paused, and his eyes drifted. They did that a lot, and it wasn't out of disrespect but more out of anxiety. He had made some enimies as of late, and feared that if seen talking to Karitania, it would bring those enimies down upon her. Aaka, alphess of the silver glades back, was murdered. They're saying that her niece, Kekechoi, did it. I'm sure you know Moon Spirits daughter. Moon Spirit, alphess of the sedge creek. Everyone knew her, even if she did keep a low profile. Word around is, theres a price on Kekechoi's head. Moon Spirits Mate, Azul, has not been seen for many moons now. Everyone thinks he is dead. The black and white males bright green eyes shifted, then landed on Karis. I did not know if you had heard all of this or not.

Karitania, Domnio and Thesarios

Domnio smiled in a business-like manner, dipping his head once. "I shall go and speak with him then. Goodbye, Kilandra." Then, with a glance to his alphess, Domnio left to speak to Kahota about an alliance.

Thesarios, however, stayed where he was, smiling brightly at Kilandra. His tail swayed gently behind him, as he too began to feel his heart swell with an emotion he had never felt before. Love? Maybe; only time could tell. "Do you have any brothers or sisters in the valley?"

Karitania watched Diseased look to Kilandra; to most his dark smile may have unnerved or disgusted them, but to her it made a tingle ripple down her spine, and her heart which had never been stirred before, pulse just that little bit faster. It was his almost nervous glancing about that made her the most concerned. Tilting her head to the side slightly, the alphess watching him check the area for something, or someone. 'Aaka, alphess of the silver glades pack, was murdered.' Aaka? Murdered? Whilst Karitania had never met Aaka herself, her Gamma had been allies with the Silver Glades alphess, which ment that the alliance between her pack and Silver Glades may no longer exist. The smile she had on her face began to fade, and she soon became troubled by what he had to say. Moon Spirit, another of Karitania's allies, that she had never met personally, but whose alliance was made between her gamma. Sighing, she continued to listen, her golden eyes leaving his face to glare heatedly at the ground. When he paused, she looked up to catch his gaze, and then shook her head.

"I never knew; thank you for telling me. I may have to go and repair alliances, I fear." She paused, trying to sort everything out in her mind. There was something else though, something else she needed to ask him. "Diseased...I...It's difficult for me to say this," she mumbled, trying to find the best way to say it, "I wondered if...if you would be my mate, and alpha male of my pack? Our pack's could become one; I have some allies aswell that could come to our aid. The Shadow Lurkers and their allies, and some others. I understand if you don't want to..." she fell silent, realising she was rambling, and her sparkling golden eyes fell to the ground once more as she waited for some kind of reaction from him.

Diseased

His eyes widened a bit at her last words, but the bright green eyes softened a bit. He nuzzled her neck gently, and murmured in her ear I would be delighted to be the alpha of your pack. His banner waved and he looked at his new pack with that same dark, creepy smile as before. Might I ask if you have a home, or if we wander? He had let his packlands go, for what was the point of them if he wasn't to stay there? But he knew that Moon Spirit would step down under the right.... Pressure. And who knew? Maybe no one had taken over the Silver Glades pack and they could go there. Black and white male shifted his eyes about once more, not so nervous but still never letting his guard down.

Kilandra

She nodded to Domino as he left, her attention focased on Thesarios. When he spoke her heart fell. "No, I don't. I was the only one out of my litter to survive." She hung her head low her tail no longer wagging. It was just one of the many pains of her life. She looked up, her eyes reflecting a hard past, but despite that, she still found the strenght to smile warmly at him.

Karitania, Thesarios & Pack

Her golden eyes, which had been firmly fixed on the ground as she waited anxiously for his reaction, were lifted as he nuzzled her. A smile spread across her face, and her tail began to wag gently behind her. Then at his question, she shook her head, "We have no permanent home at the moment. I have challenged a deer for his land, but if it fails then we shall wander until we find a different place to claim as our own."

Then, Karitania turned, tipping her head back slightly as she howled out. It was to her pack; time to introduce their new alpha male and packmates.

Thesarios dipped his head as she told him of her past, his eyes full of sorrow. "I'm sorry..." He met her gaze however, and smiled back sympathetically. It must have been difficult for her to loose her family. Then his alphess called, and he begrudgingly headed for her. He stopped briefly though, "You coming?" He grinned at Kilandra.

It was Lysian who arrived next, body low as he slunk towards his alphess. Avoiding her eyes, he came to a stop a few feet from her. "You sister, Inkalio and Vandras are questioning another wolf, and Domnio's gone to try and secure an alliance with the pack at Sunset Beach." Karitania simply nodded, the turned to wait for the rest of the pack while Lysian moved away to sit towards the back of the gathering pack.

Xina and Lasota were next, followed by Lasota's three pups, Tyran, Illiya and Riven. The two females and the three adolesents gathered in front of Karitania and Diseased.

Sxythe, with Chaos at his heels, took a seat to the right of Lasota, dipping his head to Diseased in greeting.

Karitania watched her pack gather, and then once most members were present, she began. "Ribellarsi pack, I would like to introduce you to your new alpha male. This is Diseased, my mate and your second alpha. Treat him as you would me. His pack should be along soon." Then she paused; her bright eyes sweeping over the gathered canines. "We may have a home soon, but for the moment we are waiting to see the Stag's responce to my challenge. I believe we shall have to fight for the land."

Kilandra

Her eyes brightened when he offered for her to follow, and she gladly trotted behind him. His gentleness had softened some of her pain and she now walked a little lighter as her tail swished in the breeze. She sat close to him, ,but slightly away from the others, so they would not confuse her as part of the pack. Her eyes met Thesarios' and that warm tingly feeling flared to life, making her feel safe, but somehow lonely...

Thesarios

Thesarios grinned as she followed him, and after barking a greeting and welcome to his new alpha male, and his alphess, turned to Kilandra. Her unusual eyes made his heart flutter, and it startled him at how much he seemed to like this wolfess. He smiled brightly, his tail beating gently on the ground next to where he sat.

"You sure I can't convince you to come to our pack?"

He jested, with laughter in his eyes. He was only teasing her, but he did want her to be in their pack. Still, just because they were in different packs, didn't mean they couldn't be mates, right? Then he suddenly became shocked at himself. Thinking about her as his possible mate already? He had only known her five minutes!

Moonfrost

Moonfrost trotted toward the others, following Titania. She was a little anxious to meet the other pack members, but she new she would need to get to know them. She stopped near them, not wanting to interrupt their conversation. So Moon frost sat down, and waited for a break in the conversing for an introduction.

Kilandra

She could help but smile as she sat there next to him, their fur nearly touching. It made her heart pound against her chest and her blood burn hot in her veins. She was sure that he would have to be deaf not to hear the feverant beating of her heart. She loved her pack, but something about him made her think twice about their offer. When he asked her if she was sure, she almost gave in. No, she desided, she didn't know him long enough to make that choice yet. Maybe one day, but not yet.

"I'm sure. I love my pack, and I made a promise to Kahota when I joined. I don't intend to break it."

Her eyes were warm and filled with laughter. She noticed another female approch, and tilted her head to look at her.

"Hello, I am Kilandra. What is your name?"

Moon Frost

Moonfrost perked up her ears at the other fae's question. She was sure it was directed at her. So Moonfrost spoke shyly," My name is Moonfrost. I guess now I am a member of the Ribellarsi pack. I was asked to join by Titania." She wondered where Titania had gone to.

Titania & Others

Titania had in fact slipped through the crowd of canines to speak to her sister. Once Karitania had finished her speech, Titania approached her alpha's. "Welcome Diseased," she grinned, remembering him well from so long ago, "and congratulations. I have just asked another wolf to join us and she has accepted the offer. Her name is Moonfrost." Karitania, after glancing to Diseased, followed her sister towards Moonfrost, Kilandra and Thesarios.

Thesarios turned to look at Moonfrost when Kilandra spoke to her, and he smiled at her. "Hello, I'm Thesarios."

Titania soon approached them, smiling at the new member to the Ribellarsi Pack. She didn't say anything, just sat beside Moonfrost as Karitania approached them. Karitania was much larger than Titania, and much more intimidating. Still, she approached Moonfrost with a smile, her head and tail up to show her rank. "Hello Moonfrost, and welcome to the Ribellarsi Pack. I am Karitania, your new alphess."

Moonfrost

Moonfrost lowered her head and tail to show that she appreciated this big female's superiority. She looked toward Thesarios, and said back," Hello. I guess your in the Ribellarsi to?" Then she looked back at Karitania and said," It is nice to meet the alphess of the pack. Thank you for letting me join you." She smiled brightly, and wagged her tail a bit. ' They all seem very friendly' she thought. She was pleased with her descision to join their pack.

Karitania

Karitania smiled as Moonfrost lowered herself in respect, and the alphess' tail wagged subtly in appriciation.

"Yes, he is in the pack. I'm glad you joined us. Be loyal and friendly to your fellow members, and show them respect. Treat them as they would treat you, and all will be well. Any problems, you talk to myself, or my mate Diseased."

It felt wierd to call Diseased her mate, and that someone else would now help her with her leader 'duties'. Now smiling a little brighter, Karitania raised her voice to speak to the whole pack.

"I think it's time we went home! I have waited a long time to say that...Now, Ribellarsi pack, follow me to Shimmer Valley."

The alphess turned, and was followed by some of the pack towards their new home. Thesarios glanced to Kilandra, "You wanna come with us, then you can go home later if you like..?" Titania looked to Moonfrost. "Come, Moonfrost. Let's go and see our new home!"

Kilandra

Her tail wagged long arcs as she rose to her paws, happily following behind Thesarios and the rest of the pack. She hoped that Kahota wouldn't mind.

Moonfrost

Moonfrost trotted eagerly behind them, and hoped that her new home would fare her well. Her icy blue eyes took in everything, and her silver coat glistened like snow in the sun. Her tongue looled out the side of her mouth, panting as she trotted.
