Apocalypse & Dakota

The two walked to the edge of the prairie, Apocalypse stopped and looked around. His ears perked forward, and his eyes scanned the surrounding. A quick glance back he looked to his young pup and smiled, "Come son, it looks safe." The two moved forward cautiously.

The little pup pounced around his fathers paws. Glancing around every once in a while. Apocalypse stopped and laid down. He was tired and hungry, but rest was more important now. Dakota sat next to his father and watched the surroundings. Apocalypse took a large paw and pulled the pup to him, making the little pup lay next to him. They both fell asleep.

After a while of rest Dakota awoke and crawled away from his father. Snaking off he went to play by himself. A cricket catching his eye he bounded after it.

Phantom/Belle/Fiesta

The trio prowled through the grass, keeping an eye out for any potential danger. They were an odd sight - two black coyotes and one tan. It was then that Phantom noticed the pup and his sleeping father. He smirked and walked closer. "You shouldn't stray too far from your father, young one." He chuckled. Fiesta growled and stepped up beside her friend. "Oh, Phantom! Can't you ever be nice for once?" The tan female scolded. Belle, a black coyote, approached them now, smiling sweetly. "Hello. I am Belle, and this is Phantom and Fiesta." She said, pointing to each of her friends as she introduced them.

Lasota, Riven, Illiya & Tyran

Padding through the grass, a female wolf was on guard, even more so than normal. Following in her paw-steps, was her four weeks old daughter, Illiya. The timber wolf family had been travelling for a while now, as Lasota seeked a home away from her old home. After breaking up with her old mate and the father of her pups, Vermont, the wolfess was in need of a fresh start and friendly faces to start or join a pack with.

"Mom! Riven just bit me really hard!" Tyran dived for his mothers leg, seeking snactuary from his larger brother. Lasota used her free hind leg to gently kick Riven away from Tyran, so the eldest of her litter fell to the ground growling. "You're just like your father, Riven, Can't you just leave your brother alone for two minutes?!" Riven had finally caught up with his family, batting his sisters head as he passed her. "Uhhh, No."

Rolling her eyes, Lasota stopped to fix her son with an unwavering stare, to which he prompt put back his ears and slunk away to play nicely with his siblings. Illiya sat beside her mother, and received a lick on the head from Lasota as she watched her sons take off into the long grass. "Don't go too far!" She called after them, but doubted they would actually listen.

It was Tyran, who had been running away from Riven, who stumbled upon Apocalypse, skidding to a halt before he ended up on top of the male wolf. Riven slowed down to come up beside him and they both stared dumbfounded down at the unknown wolf, before realising they could get into trouble. Luckily Lasota had decided to follow her children, and so came up behind them, with Illiya at her heels. "Come on, he's sleeping, move away." Then the coyote's caught Riven's attention. He and Tyran raced over, barking happily. Sliding to a halt, ending up with Tyran pinned beneath his brother, the brothers grinned. "Hi! I'm Riven, and this is my brother, Tyran! Our mom's over there with our sister, and they've found a wolf who's sleeping. I want to wake him up but mom said to leave him alone. Who are you?"

Karitania, Titania, Thesarios, Inkalio & Lysian

The pack of five, led by the Mexican Grey wolf, Karitania, trotted through the prairie on alert for new pack members. The voices of the coyotes and the pups caught the alpha female's attention, and so she changed course for the group.

She approached in a matter-of-fact manner, a smile on her face, but it was absent in her eyes. "Hello, My name is Karitania, and this is my pack. We are the Ribellarsi pack, and are looking for new members. Would any of you care to join us?"

Titania, Karitania's sister, fanned out to stand on the left side of her alpha, smiling brightly. She was the most pleasent and friendly of the pack.

Just behind Titania was Lysian, the scout and lowest member of the group. He took refuge from the alphess with Titania, often found with her as she was the only one who could coax him out of his protective and submissive shell.

Thesarios, the gamma male, came to stand on Karitania's right, giving a nod to all whom were gathered in greeting. He had his eye on the rank of beta, but the alphess had yet to assign the rank. In fact Karitania had yet to find a mate, as her previous one had disappeared again.

And finally, Inkalio came up next to Thesarios, in a casual manner. He just watched the group.

Phantom/Belle/Fiesta

Phantom, who led the small band of coyotes, spun around when he heard the pups. He narrowed his eyes and raised his hackles. He growled quietly, but was silenced by Fiesta. "Shut up, fool." She female said. "They're just pups! They're not going to hurt you." Phantom shook his head. "They sure are annoying, though..." He grumbled. Fiesta snapped at his face. "Phantom! That is no way to speak of a pup!" She scolded before looking at the young ones. "I am Fiesta, and this is Phantom and Belle."

Belle was the one to notice the approaching pack of wolves. "Phantom, shut up and talk to the strangers." She said timidly. Phantom lifted his head and watched the wolves. "We're loners. Always have been, always will be." He answered. Fiesta scowled at him. "We need a pack, dummy. Remember when you got in trouble with the old lady, and her son shot you, and then the pack of wild dogs saved you? If we have a pack all the time, we'll have protection all the time." She stated intelligently. Phantom sighed and looked back at the wolves. "Fine. We'll join your pack."

Apocalypse & Dakota

The pup looked up at the three that had walked up to him. Dakota backed up, then hearing them speak to him the little pup was to frightened to speak.

Apocalypse awoke to the sounds of other and jumped to his paws, not seeing his son he began to panic. All the strangers had caught him off guard. Now, Apocalypse felt like the fool. If only he had not pushed his travels further he would not have been so tired.

Dakota began to run back to where his father was. As Apocalypse spotted his son he ran to him and stood over his small pup. Apocalypse bared his teeth as he spoke, "Who are all of you?" He let the words slip with a slight growl. In his panic he had not caught the words that any of the strangers had spoken.

Phantom/Belle/Fiesta

Phantom turned back around to face Apocalypse. A grin spread across his face. "I am Phantom. These are my friends, Belle and Fiesta." He informed with sarcasm in his voice. "Your turn." He chuckled after he was done speaking. Fiesta rolled her eyes. "I'm sorry for the trouble we have caused you, stranger." She said in that friendly way of hers. Belle kept her distance from the father and son.

Karitania, Titania, Inkalio, Thesarios & Lysian

Karitania stepped forward, smiling at her newest pack members. "Thank you, and welcome to the pack!" Then Apocalypse awoke and became defensive over his son. The wolfess sighed, but kept smiling, stepping towards him once. "You have nothing to fear, my friend. My name is Karitania, Alphess of the Ribellarsi pack. This is Titania, my sister, Inkalio, Thesarios and Lysian. We mean you no harm." As if to reinforce this, the various pack members nodded their heads.

The alphess paused, before continuing. "Would you like to join our pack?" She asked the male, and her gaze also darted to the mother of the other pups, asking her the same question.

Apocalypse & Dakota

The wave of fear washed away as he looked at them. Apocalypse relaxed his body "I am Apocalypse and this is my son Dakota." His voice was calm now as he looked around to the others.

Dakota stood and walked out from under his father. Big brown eyes looking around he noticed the other pups and smiled. They were much bigger than him but it had been awhile since he had gotten a change to play with others.

Lasota, Riven, Tyran and Illiya

Lasota just smiled when Apocalypse became defensive. It was natural, she would have done the same thing if she had been in his situation, even more so because she had three pups.

She came over to the group, her tail wagging, as various introductions were made. She waited until a lul in the conversation before adding her own. "I am Lasota, daughter of Tharrack and Lymana. These are my children, Riven, Illiya and Tyran." As their names were said, each pup smiled, to confirm it was them their mother was speaking of. Then Karitania asked if she wished to join the pack. Lasota had been planning to find a pack, but it seemed one would come to her! She grinned, nodding her head. "Of course! It would be a weight off my shoulders to know I'm not alone!"

Riven pounced towards Dakota, grinning obnoxiously. "Hey! I'm Riven, Wanna play?"

Apocalypse & Dakota

Apocalypse looked at the mother ad her pups and nodded as she spoke. Then looking to the one that asked if he wanted to join their pack. He took a moment to think about it. Then decided what would be best for his pup. "It would be a great honer to join your pack." He glanced around at the others once more.

Dakota looked at the mixed pup, he had never seen such a sight. Dakota had only been raised around other wolves like himself. Then with a playful smile he nodded his head "Sure! What do you like to play?"
