Kelapa
The tiger had arrived. A small, lean South China Tiger walked through the tall grass. She seemed to be unaware of what happened around her. Not even a human could distract her from what she was doing. Or so she thought.
She searched for her cousin, Majikan. She had followed his scent to the valley, but had apparently gotten lost. He wasn't anywhere to be seen. In fact, she saw no felines from where she was. So she let out a roar to alert others of her presence. Perhaps they could help her.
Zander
A clouded leopard, though different from the usual, stalked into the prairie. He had just gotten done with a long nap up in a tree. Now as he walked, he stretched out his slender limbs and body, giving light growls as he did so. It felt pretty good. He had not a care in the world, either, so life was looking up for him. He felt himself getting hungry though, but pushed the thought aside. He'de worry about that later.
As he walked, his hazel eyes suddenly landed on something big. No, very big. He disregarded it at first until he realized it was another cat. With that thought in his head, he lowered his clouded body and slunk along, headed toward her. After all, he didn't think a fellow big feline would attack another.
"Hello?" he seemed to ask, coming up near her though clearly out of striking range. "Are you looking for someone?" Or something... he then thought to himself, flicking his tail behind him slowly. He hadn't seen her around before, but then he was fairly new to the area as well.
Kelapa
Kelapa was much calmer and friendlier than her very aloof cousin, but one could say that she wasn't right in the head. Sometimes she was as nice as they get. Other times she was a cold-blooded monster. Thankfully, this was one of her better moments.
She turned her head when she heard Zander. "Hello to you. I'm Kelapa." She replied, respectfully keeping her distance. "Yes, I guess I am looking for someone." She sat down and bowed her head to show that she meant no harm. "My cousin, Majikan, left our family to start his own group. My sisters and brothers worry that he might be causing trouble. He's a power-hungry beast, and I was sent to keep an eye on him." She paused and looked around, worried that someone else was listening in. "He's a bit bigger than me, and more muscular. The only big difference is his color - he'll stick out like a dog in the human's village. His color is blue." It was true. Majikan was a melanistic tiger, deep purple-blue in color. "You haven't seen him anywhere, have you?"
Zander
Zander watched her curiously, and paid particular attention to her acts of respect. Breathing a deep sigh of relief, he nodded at her. "I am Zander," he replied, making sure he himself kept his own distance. He listened intently to her words, taking it all in and thinking silently to himself. He didn't really know anyone in the area, let alone a blue tiger. Heck, he hadn't even known what a tiger really was till now. "Um, blue?" he seemed to ask, tilting his head a bit as his big hazel eyes studdied her. "I don't even know any tigers... I'm kinda new around here," he stated, but then it hit him. "But I could help you. I have nothing better to do," he then said, taking a calm seat on his sleek haunches as he watched her. He actually wanted to help, not only for her but to also keep him from practically dieing of boredom.
Kelapa
The big cat nodded, twitching her striped tail behind her. "Good afternoon, Zander." She said politely, using her most cheerful voice. She tilted her head when he offered to help her. "That'd be great! After all, two noses are better than one. Would you like to lead, or shall I?"
Zander
Zander gave a nod again, and turned with a flick of his long tail. "I'm just taking a wild guess here, but let's try this way," he stated with a toothy grin that showed off his two-inch long canines. Then he was off.
