Sasha/Rosco

Sasha led her four fawns to the prairie - two of them were adopted. She grazed, but kept an eye on them. Rosco, a male fawn, bounded through the grass. "I bet you guys can't catch me!" He teased.

Sasha

She was heavily pregnant, and was unable to go and help her pack in an ambush that the Haunters had put up. She moved gracefully, but slowly. Then her ears perked and she looked up to see a deer and....Four fawns. Now, she was in no way able to hunt on her own, so she wasn't to much of a threat. She came forward and sat down, a lovely doberman with eyes of warmth. She watched the fawns play, and a smile, albeit a sad one, crossed her face. Softly to Sasha she said I had another littler of pups, long ago. Two males, they came into our den. Ambushing us. They killed two of my children. Two days later, they killed one of our most trusted allies and friends Daughter, sending their other daughter into madness. Watching your children, it makes me think that maybe there is happiness in our world.

Wardell & Fleat

The large stag followed after Sasha quietly, his auds flickering at every noise. A couple-- no, four fawns, was a lot to look after, especially when they started running around. At this point, he was all too cautious as his dark eyes swept over the tall grasses. The grass could hide any preditor. Humans could be hiding behind trees. Or maybe he was just going paranoid?

Sighing deeply as Sasha finally stopped, he stood near her and kept his head lifted high. His nares flared as he took in harsh breaths, making sure no scents were blowing to them. At first, he couldn't smell anything but the foliage, until his eyes landed on something dark within the field. For a moment, he felt his heart skip a beat, but then remembered what he was doing and quickly snorted. The canine came into view then, and he stamped a strong fore hoof into the ground. He didn't trust any preditor, especially a canine, even if they happened to be pregnant. More could easily follow. The thought of trusting a harmless-seeming pregnant canine only to be ambushed later on. He tried to shake the thoughts off, but it was something that could indeed happen. So there he stood, not speaking, his dial lowered a bit so his long shoveled antlers faced her direction in warning. He felt he was doing the right thing, but maybe he was also overly-protective?

Fleat, the young flicka dashed along after her brother, her dark eyes set on him. "Here I come!" she called out as she ran at him, her spindly limbs carrying her small form as quick as she could possibly get them to move. As she occasionally neared him, she would try to reach out with her neck to nip at his pelt.

Sassy and Chido

Sassy she watched him and then bucked on after him. She laughed.OH I will I willShe called out running after him. She was very active fawn.

Chido on the other hand was more a mother fawn and stuck by his adoptive mother and then started to nurse.

Sasha/Rosco

Sasha raised her head when she smelled the canine. She looked around for a while before spotting the predator. "Good day, dog." She said calmly.

Rosco was unaware of the dog as he fled from his playful siblings. "Hey!" He laughed when he was 'tagged' by Fleat. "I'll get you for that!" He quickly turned around, rushing at the female fawns.

Sasha

She moved forward a bit, a soft smile crossing her face. She sat down, about five feet from Sasha, her eyes taking in the four playing fawns. A flickering glance was given to the buck, wary of him. Antlers and hooves and dogs. Not a good combination. Mildly she said to him If I was going to eat them, I would have done so. The shadow lurkers sent clung to her, but there was no sign of the great pack nor any others. Just her. Soft, gentle Sasha.

Sasha/Rosco

Sasha nodded, but did not relax. Her instincts told her that canines were dangerous. "Well, how are you doing today?" She asked, keeping her large eyes on the dog.

Eventually, Rosco noticed the dog. He stopped his play and walked towards her. "I'm Rosco! Who are you?" He exclaimed playfully.

Sasha

A giggle escaped her as Rosco came forth. Lightly she tapped him on the shoulder with a large paw, knowing her strength could be daunting. I'm Sasha. And how are you today, Rosco? She asked him.

Wardell & Fleat

Wardell still wasn't sure, but he was slowly loosening up. He wouldn't let his guard down no matter what. There could be other creatures wandering near, whether they were with Sasha or not. Instead of saying anything, he simply stared at the canine carefully, standing back but near enough just in case. He listened intently, silently, looking between the two Sashas and especially watching over the bunch of crazy fawns.

Fleat had turned tail so fast that her legs struck out from under her body before the rest of her could catch up, causing her head to fling backwards as she blindly darted off. Her brother came dangerously close to her but then she realized he had changed his course. Slowing and skidding through the grass, she spun and headed after him curiously. She came to stand tall next to Rosco, looking at the canine with her big ears pricked. "I'm Fleat," she stated, her small tail flicking from side to side.
