Indianna
Fast,fast,fast strides of the her white appendages carried Indy quickly,steadily,and virtually silenty through the tall grasses. With a sense of pride, Indy lifted her head, on her hind legs, her plush raised to the sky. She scented the air, smelling manydifferent creatures. She let out somthing of a sneeze, a quiet oen though. Her banner raised, long,silky peices of fur dangled from it like a fancy tapestrie. She held still, crouching down. Resting. Listning to the many sounds. Her harks swiveled every few moments. Oh, was she tired.
Jagged
It was the sneeze that gave Indianna away. Padding through the grass, almost parallel to her a few feet away was a wolf. Jagged's ears perked, his nose lifted to the wind. A female, a dog by the smell of it. He padded up to Indy, smiling. Hello there, I'm Jagged, Son to Vestige and Lady. Who are you?
Viala
With a strong wag of her tail, the fae was off, strolling through the prairie. A pair of light icy blue eyes were set on the ground before her, and would occasionally glance off to the side to catch a glimpse of something else. Today was a good day to roam, away from the humans. It was beautiful out, a warm spring day. Perfect for Viala.
Suddenly, she nearly fell over flat on her face. Something was in front of her. More canines? Snorting, a bit irritated that her walk was interrupted, she stood off a bit and watched. Who were these two strangers?
Indianna
Indy's hair raised on her back. Fromsuprise. Shedefinetlywasn't afraidof a wolf. "Nice to meet you-Jagged." She grinned pleasently. She shook her pelt. Raising her thinking to the air, nares flaredbriefly. "Do you smell that?"
Jagged
Jagged grinned as Indianna responded positively. At her question, he tilted his head back slightly, nose testing the air. He, too, picked up on the smell. Yes, I do. Turning in the direction of the smell, Jagged lifted his head slightly, Hey, Who's there?
Viala
At the wolf's words, her auds went back a bit, recognizing him as one of those wild canids. How she hated them, or at least the ones who preyed on humans. Humans were her friends, and when you threatened her friends, you had to deal with her first.
Viala reluctantly stepped out from the grass, revealing her dainty, perfect frame. She wasn't as fragile as she may look, though. No, she was tough.
Her eyes gleamed, and her auds were back against her head a bit, hinting that she wouldn't put up with any hassles. "What?" she then spoke, her tail stiff, and her limbs tense. Her first time in the wild.
Indianna
Indy shook her pelt quickly, her fur shook-out from head to tail, rolling over her muscles.
"Hi, I'm Indianna."
Indy spoke suttily.
Jagged
Jagged grinned when he spotted another canine, but Viala's seemingly aggressive retort made the smile fade slightly. Still, try to make friends, not enemies. "My name's Jagged, I just wanted to know who was there. You can't trust anyone these days. You could have been one of those Haunters for all I knew. You aren't a Haunter...are you?"
He shuffled a bit closer to Indy, incase Viala was to try and attack.
FlaK
Flak watched the others closely, remaining in the trees. Little did he know, Tahti, a Haunter and friend, had spoken with Viala earlier. A snarl arose from his throat. His eyes shifted from one to another, trying to decide which would be his target...
Viala
Viala stood there, a bit wary of these two, though fully knowing that she had been the one who stumbled upon them in the first place. Giving off a sigh of both relief and exaustion, her light icy eyes took in the two, this time with a more gentle gaze. She wouldn't let down her guard, though.
"I'm Viala," she stated, and then gave her dial a tilt at the male's words. "A Haunter?" she then repeated, trying to think of anything she could recall of that name. But she couldn't come up with anything. After all, the coyote who she had most recently spoken with before had never told her just what that pack was called, only just that they resided at the ruins. Wherever that was. "I... Don't know." she then added, unsure. Something wasn't right, and little did she know, she had technically allied herself with these, Huanters, unknowingly.
Flak
Flak continued to snarl and stepped forward so he could be seen by the group. "Lovely bunch we have here." He chuckled cockily. "What's your name, fluffy white dog?" He glared at Viala, keeping his tail high.
Viala
Viala continued to watch the two other canines, unknowing of the wolf who lurked just nearby, until she finally took notice of the snarl. At that, her fur bristled, and her dial lowered. Although she had never really been one to act so defensive first, he had caught her off guard. Guess she wasn't all cut out for that.
"I just said, Viala, if you hadn't heard," she growled lightly back, unsure of this wolf. She had never been very loose around wild canines. Mostly after all the attacks from them that she had heard about and even seen back at her old home. She knew them, and this one didn't seem right. "What do you want?" she then asked, somewhat snapping, glaring right back at him. Just who did he think he was, looking at her like that?
Flak
Flak grinned. "Well, Viala..." He began, stepping closer. "Is the sickly one your friend? Poor choice, I'd say." He spoke of Jagged, glancing at him for a moment. "What do I want? Nothing, really. Just exploring." He moved even closer and showed his fangs. He was a crazy one.
Do it now.
She smells like Tahti.
She's a Haunter. Good for her.
That's not true. She's perfectly decent.
Bring her to the Temple. She belongs there.
Don't do anything stupid...
Flak grinned as he listened to his friends. "Tell me, dear, would you like to come to the Ruins with me?" He asked, now with a soft voice.
Viala
Viala began to growl in a menacing way, not liking this wolf. At all. He was strange and new. What did that make? A perfect stranger, and she didn't like the way he was. "Why don't you go yourself? I'll do as I please," she then snapped back, sensing something wrong. The ruins. That was the place that coyote had told her about, where that pack was. But she wouldn't go, she didn't want to.
FlaK
The grin never left Flak's face as he stared at Viala.
{Do it now.}
(I wouldn't suggest that.)
{I would. She belongs to you.}
(She's not a slave.)
{She's a dog - not a wolf.}
(What's that supposed to mean? Don't listen, Flak. Leave her alone.)
{DO IT!}
Flak dropped the smile and backed away. "You don't want to go to the Ruins, huh? Then how about the breeding grounds?..." A crooked smile grew on his face once more.
Viala
The husky stood there, limbs stiff, muscles taut. Now she was sure of it; this wolf was off his rocker. At his words, she narrowed her light eyes and snarled briskly. "In your dreams, bucko!" she snarled, ending her words with a few harsh snaps of her strong jaws. Her poofy, slightly curled banner stuck out behind her now. Her stance lowered, her glistening fangs became clearly bared. She was ready to spring from him whenever he even showed a single sign of motion. "You can turn around and leave us to our talk!" she snarled out then, holding an angered, unwavering look upon her features. She could turn nasty when she wanted to.
Flak
Flak grinned evilly. "Sassy little girl, aren't you?!" He chuckled, moving closer. His tail was held high and a hateful look was in his eyes. His fangs were bared. He stood in front of her and glared at her, paying no attention to the others.
{Attack! Attack!}
(Not a good idea. Leave her be)
{DO IT!}
Suddenly, without warning, Flak opened his jaws and struck out at Viala's face.
Viala
Viala, with bristled fur and flashing fangs, leapt backwards when she noticed the first twinge of muscle. She landed easily, gracefully even, growls erupting from her throat. "Get away from me you hideous thing!" she snarled out, and then turned around to bolt. Her legs took her away as fast as she could get herself to move, headed back to the dump.
Flak
Flak snarled when the dog retreated, and was soon on her tail.
