Jersey, Bree, Austin
Three Border collies, two brutes and one fae, easily trotted into the land. They plowed through the grass and entered a small plot, where the colorful weeds actually didn't grow so tall. It may be a wild place for wolves to roam and frolic, as well as all those other wild things, but they decided that they would hang out around here for a while. Although the scent of wild canines was strong and faint in different sections around here, each was quite wary, though some, not so much.
While Jersey was anxiously sniffing around him, nares working wildly at the brush and shrubs, he soon took an idle seat next to a large rock. The place seemed safe. Safe enough at the moment, anyway. At any given time, something could show up and happen.
"Stay near," he began, auds back a bit, "it's easy to get lost in this... Grass." And he meant it. Couldn't risk the group being broken up. Their other Border companions were just a howl away, though, so Jersey felt reasonably safe, but he resented dragging friends into trouble either way.
Bree was the most active one. Probably one of the most active of them all. Her lithe limbs carried her chocolate and white form all over the place, as she took in all the new scents, and snorted at ones she disliked. Her banner waved behind her eagerly, quite happy to be out here. "We're lucky to find such a place," she stated, wriggling her nose a bit as a long strip of grass tickled her nares, "and it's fun, too. Excellent to run." she finished, turning to walk back around and examine the open area surrounded by long weeds and plants. The snow wasn't bothering her at all at the moment.
Austin was only interested in catching some sleep. It was a lazy day for him now, with the dull sunlight overhead and the chilly winds that froze his limbs and chilled his bones. "I hate this stuff..." he mumbled lightly to himself, with a sigh, as he sat down and then curled up. His banner was circled around over his paws and muzzle, keeping his body warm as best as it could. "Now leave me alone to--" he started saying, but was then interrupted by a wide yawn, "nap."
