Kyrene & Pups

Kyrene kept watch, glancing around the prairie on high alert. Her pups were only a few weeks old, and she needed to find somewhere to keep them safe, but where? Not many packs would accet a mother with pups, let alone 7 pups. The weirmaraner slowly walked through the grass, casting around her eyes, making sure all seven pups were near her. She stopped near a smal group of trees, it would serve as a good point for the pups to return to, as it stuck out against the plain landscape. You can play, just dont go too far, Ok? Kyrene sat down near the trees. Her coat was quite thin, so every now and again she would shiver.

Niavo yipped and charged at Dakarai, bowling over his sibling and a play fight soon started.

Soleil stayed near her mother. Even though she was bigger than her two siblings, she didn't want to join in. Her pale yellow eyes glanced up at her mother. Im cold mom. The pup snuggled up next to her warm mother. Kyrene smiled and licked the pup on her dark grey muzzle. She looked up to see where her other pups were.

Rage .+. Bloodbath .+. Unholy

The Vicious clone stammered out from behind his mother. Puppy blue eyes taking in the site around him. He glared a bit, then relaxed and began a slight strole into the evening set. Grass stalks bowing at his weight, but he was not heavy enough yet to break them. Had his personality arrived yet? Of course not, only time will tell what horrible beast this pup has trapt inside.

Bloody coat shimmered as if a freashly kill from the back of the demon hybrid. Dark blue orbs shifting and shimmering within their sockets as he glared with icey hatred to the world. His nose caught a scent. The scent of freash blood, oh what was it like to taste such a fine meal? All Bloodbath knew was the warm and sweet taste of his mother's milk. He had yet to taste and gorge himself on the flesh and blood of a living creature.

So kind is her eyes, faint blue with green specks. They had yet to fade into the chilling hueless orbs of her adulthood. Her mind was alight, so agile so bliss. So far she had nothing to worry, except the stupid idiocy of her siblings. She sighed at the thought of being with them for much longer, walking off a bit, "too far-my paw." She continued to wonder, waiting until the tree was just a small haze in the background. Her tiny-pup rump settled down on a rock as she watched the rest of the swaying grass. It looked like water, the water from the lakes, but larger and ... brown... Aye, the uglyness of Winter, Unholy knew not of the summer. Not of the colors that would unfold in due-time. Would she favor the hueless dreary winter, or the bright and warm summer?

Kyrene, Dakarai, Soleil, Niavo

Kyrene watched as Unholy began to wander. She sighed, but realised if they were ever going to leave a mark in this pathetic world, they needed strength. Standing up, Kyrene nudged Soleil away from her. Go play with your brothers.

Soleil was surprised. She wimpered gently. Would she be a nice adult? No. Kyrene would make sure of it. This mother wanted children who would have the power to do as they please, and being nice was out of the question. Soleil made her way towards Dakarai and Niavo. Dakarai was pinned to the ground by Niavo, but the smaller sibling wasn't going to give up easily. He snapped his teeth around Niavo's grinning muzzle, sinking his tiny fangs into the tender flesh. Niavo cried out and let go, staggering backwards in shock into Soleil. Dakarai growled and turned to see Unholy wandering off, and began to follow her, disappearing into the long grass.

Soleil snapped at Niavo's rump as he backed into her. Her brother cried out and jumped round, batting his sister with a small paw. Soleil glanced to her mother, but was bombarded by Niavo. In an effort to defend herself, Soleil weakly snarled and began to struggle, whacking her brother around the head with her paws and snapping at his face.

Kyrene glanced around for her last pup, she couldn't see her anywhere.

Resurrection

Resurrection plodded in behind her siblings, her dark coat sticking out in the browns and golds and few beits of red and green. She was slinking a bit lower to the ground, feeling as if she stuck out. Resurrection wanted to blend, so she wouldn't be seen. She wagged her tail whne she caught sight of her mother and crept up silently behind her, tiny body wiggling. Darkblue optics watched Kyrene's tail's every movement. She got close, and jumped up, yipping and nipping at the direction of her tail, landing again and tried to plant her paws on the ground but stumbled, slipping onto a side. She yelped, forgot her momentary pain, and rolled onto her back, looking up at her mom and wagging her banner still faster.

Kyrene

The weirmaraner felt Resurrection brush against her tail and turned to look at her pup. She grinned as she spotted her daughter on the ground, tail wagging. Kyrene smiled, but was secretly concerned. Resurrection was showing too nice an attitude. However she was still young, she had time to learn. For now she could be herself, but Kyrene would eventually try and mould her later. The mother dipped down, batting her daughter gently with her paws, uttering a playful growl.

Shadow//Resurrection

Resurrection had a playful grin plastered on her face. She was so innocent, and it was a bit of a good thing to do so. If Kyrene would change her, which she didn't know yet, innocence could play a large role between her enemy's life...and death. She growled back, as menacing as she could make it, and pawed at the larger frame of her mom.

Shadow stuck out much more than the little pup who seemed to blend in with her tiny body. But he could see the vixen and cocked his head, ears drawn back as she pawed at something. Curious, Shadow crept a bit closer to investigate, only to see a raven pup. He waved his tail once, but it stopped after that. He forgot he was in full view of the other pups as he watched them play. He stayed standing and tucked his neck just in case. YOu could never tell around here.

Rage .+. Bloodbath .+. Unholy

Rage was stalking through the grass on a nimble foot. Autumn colored eyes looking around for something interesting... He found it...

He paused looking straight up to Shadow, just yards from the larger wolf. Rage's pupils narrowed and he growled devililshly. He said nothing just gave a furious growl.

Bloobath heard his brothers growls and he turned to see a dark being stalking them from the grass. His own devilish growl erupted in his tiny puppy throat. tiny teeth bared with puppy hackles raised. Yiping angerly. "Who the hell are you?" what language for a pup!

Unholy was too far to see her brothers, or even notice what was going on around them. She stayed on her rock and watched as Dakarai approached. She gave a wicked grin toward him and barked playfully. "I thought you were trying to rip off Niavo's face... what happened to that?" She giggled a bit and watched him.

Kyrene & Pups

Kyrene hadn't noticed Shadow, he had been downwind of her. Until Rage growled, Kyrene had been oblivious but as soon as him and Bloodbath growled the weimaraner spun round. Spotting the unknown canine near her offspring, the mother snarled savagely and launched herself forwards. She skidded to a halt near Shadow and placed herself side on to him in an attempt to protect her pups. It would do you good to answer my sons question.

Niavo watched as his mother darted for Shadow in a blinding rage. Slightly awed yet scared at the same time, Niavo followed her and added his own growl to the chorus coming from him and his bothers.

Dakarai grinned, leaping up to join Unholy on her rock. He too hadn't noticed the gathering near Shadow. I shoved him into Soleil who had a go at him as well. He was being annoying, so I came to see you. The joys of being the oldest pup.

Soleil gave Niavo a final snap on his rump, before looking up to see what everyone was snarling at. Soleil was probably going to end up the "nicest" one of the litter, but that didn't mean she would be that nice. She joined her siblings and mother but offered no hint of aggression or comfort. She stood with an indifferent face and watched Shadow.

Shadow//Resurrection

Resurrection rolled over and glanced up at all the growling and her mother bounding off. She stood and padded over, baring her fangs but not growling.

Shadow watched as each pup, whom he hadn't quite seen, 'pop out of nowhere' and start to growl. Ooh, scary.
Then the mother came forth, angry and vicious. He merely flicked his tail.
"I am Shadow." He barked, his voice low and nonthreatening. It was actually a bored tone, really. "Quite vicious pups." He commented, raising one ear as if to question.

Rage .+. Bloodbath .+. Unholy

Rage's growls quieted but didn't cease. His burning eyes tearing into Shadow as if a cat into a mouse's tiny flesh. Except this was the opposite, Rage was the tiny one while this stranger towered above him... so far.

After a moment, Bloodbath stepped between his mothers legs and gave a yowling growl "Damn right! We are vicious pups. And do you have a pro'lem with it." His cursed himself for not being able to pronounce that word yet. Bitting his lip he continued to look up through blue eyes.

Unholy, oblivious to the situation in the distance, laughed at her brothers comment. "I should feel flatter, and yet I don't. Maybe this feeling is just... Respect." She growled, watching as he tried to climb atop her rock. Her puppy nature gripped her and she moved toward him, nipping and pushing to get him to fall of the rock. "I'm the boss of this rock." She giggled slightly, a tail raised and wagging.

Shadow

Shadow flicked an ear and looked down to Bloodbath. "Quite a language, pup." He commented, scratching his neck before continuing. "I don't have a problem with it, it's better than being weak." He said, looking down at Rage who had quieted some. oh, if looks could kill, Shadow would drop dead. But his own look never wavered from a calm, uncaring tone. He looked back up to the mother, whom had very short fur as a fact, and he wondered how she could survive such cold states that come up to the Valley in the freezing season.

Shadow flicked his tail, waiting for a reply from anything, or somee random question to be thrown at him.

Kyrene, Dakarai, Niavo, Soleil

Kyrene smirked when Shadow commented that her pups were "quite vicious". She barked a cruel, sinister laugh. She didn't see the need to reply, her pups had done it for her. Pride swelled within her. Her children would grow up strong, Powerful and deadly. Much like their mother, maybe more. Fangs continued to glisten in the winter's sun, a low rumble echoing along with those of her offspring. My sons and daughters would never be weak Shadow. You underestimate them. The growling ceased, but her fangs were still bared at the male. I am Kyrene. These are my children. Rage, Bloodbath, Niavo, Soleil, Dakarai, Unholy and Resurrection. Her thin, long muzzle was directed at each pup as his or her name was spoken. Her eyes never faultered off Shadow, continuing to glare at him poisonously. It would do you good to remember those names, they might be the ones you cry as you plead for them to not rip out your throat. No flicker of fear or regret burned in those hard, blue eyes. Now Shadow, Why have your approached my children?

Niavo continued to growl, flashing small puppy fangs at Shadow, dispite his mothers silence.

Soleil just watched Shadow with a blank expression. Maybe he was simply passing by mother? He might not have noticed us.

Kyrene snarled at her daughter. Hush Soleil.

Dakarai, still not noticing the confrontation with Shadow nodded his head. Yeah, Respect. Well I respect you Unholy, we.. He was stopped short as he was shoved by his sister. Growling playfully, Dakarai batted his sister as he struggled to stay on the rock. One push from Unholy sent Dakarai crashing down from the rock, but he attempted to grab her with his small teeth and pull her down with him. He collapsed to the floor, laughing, his tail wagging furiously. Getting to his feet, he began to shake off the dirt, when he noticed his mother with a male. He was about to growl, but decided it wasn't worth his time. Turning back to Unholy, Dakarai spoke. Something's going on over there, but it's not worth our time. We'd just scare him off, 'cause we're so scary, and strong. Dakarai lifted himself up tall, raising his head and tail.

Rage .+. Bloodbath .+. Unholy

Rage, stayed quiet. Keeping up his glare, but his puppy like growl was begining to hurt his throat. He ceased the growling but still continued an angry grunt every once in a while. His eyes never unlocking from Shadow's. Waiting for the brute to answer his mother's question.

Bloodbath growled under his breath. "I'd tear out his throat now if I weren't so small. Damn smallness." awe, bloodbath has a dirty mouth, it would probably carry on into his adult life. Where he used much bigger words. Bad, bad Bloodbath. "Now answer the damn question!" He roared louder. "You stupid peeping-tom." He had no idea what that ment, he just thought it was someone who was snooping in another's business.

Unholy fell with her brother, gruffing as she hit the ground. Laughing slightly, but stopped with Dakarais words. "Maybe." She said, suddenly growing interested in the gathering. She only watched, not taking her eyes off of it. Waiting to see what would happen.

Shadow

Shadow was silent for a minute, looking down at the pups in turn as the dog introduced them. He did best to memorize each and to fit name with face, as he so often found himself doing. He opened his mouth to answer, to be cut off by the pup's muttering--BloodBath,was it?--and his demand.
"I was going to." He hissed, looking back at Kyrene.
"I was crossing through, looking for something to do. I like coming here. Just don't see a dog pawing and snuffling at nothing all the time. That's when you all jumped on me." He explained, shrugging slightly. Shadow loked around the multihued grasses, not caring how he stuck out so much. He yawned a bit then looked back at the group and ducking his head slightly. He had a feeling this wasn't going too well.

Laela

The Irish Setter padded through the Tall Grass Prairie in search of Shadow. Her rich mahogany colored coat reflected sunlight, making it shine and appear glossy. Her silky, flat coat bounces as she trotted through the grass. Her coat feathered at the legs, ears and tail. Laela braked at Shadow, to tell him she was there and she bounded over with a smile. It soon faded as she noticed the hostile mother and her pups. Laela cocked her head, her dark eyes looking from Shadow, her mate, to Kyrene. Is something wrong?

Shadow

Shadow turned and wagged his tail at the sight of Laela coming. As she came over with a question, he shook his head.
"She's protecting her pups, nothing wrong." He said, looking back to Kyrene.

Kyrene

Kyrene just smirked at Bloodbath's words and waited for Shadow to reply. Well next time, talk to the adult instead of sneaking up near the children. If my children were any bigger, I wouldn't try to stop them attacking you. Kyrene stretched, now relaxing a bit. Loosen up my darlings, I don't think Shadow here will.. She was cut off as Laela bounded over. Kyrene narrowed her eyes, but soon relaxed again as Shadow spoke to her. Guessing the knew each other, Kyrene yawned, flashing her sharp teeth just for the fun of it. So, She began, Do you two know each other?

Shadow

"I didn't see the pups!" Shadow said, trying to explain again he meant no harm by ANYTHING. He scratched his ear as an irritating itch snuck up on him, and his claws relieved it well. The brute's tail twitched at her question.
"Yes." He said, offering no more on the subject.

Rage .+. Bloodbath .+. Unholy

The sniveling snarls from Rage rose once again. Now trembling from the strength of his own anger. Flashing his fangs he opened his mouth, letting the gurgling growls heighten in loudness.

Blood bath just snorted as Shadow answered his question. "Damn liar". He cursed under his breath. Then let another low growl erupt as the female bounded forth. "ANOTHER ONE!" he snarled and almost fell back as he let out a terribly high pitched bark. Stumbling over himself. After the little mess he put himself into, he seemed to regain his balance and wobbled over to the newcomer. "You are unwelcome here, take your pup and leave!" He was referring to Shadow. As if Shadow were just a pup. Then began to think opposite and turned to Shadow. "Or, uh... take Your Pup.. awa...... Mommy! Make them go away!" He gave up trying to figure everything out. That was it and he just gave a whimpering growl in frustration.

Unholy pulled on Dakarai's ear, then began her journey to the others. Arriving only moments after the other had bounded forth. She eyed them suspiciously but said nothing. "Do you think we should stay back?" she asked her following (maybe) brother.
