Shadow,Frostfur, and Pups

Shadow

Shadow trotted into the Prairie. He lifted his ashen pillars high and set them down softly, but his weight made his paws crunch through the snow and ice. The harsh, icy zephyrs ruffled his coat, biting through it, trying to comsume him.

The brute flicked his tail at the rest, sending the signal that the Prairie was safe. He smiled lovingly at Frostfur and his pups. How nice it was to have a family. How nice it was to have a peaceful family. A family in which would help those in need. A family of light instead of dark. But...it depends on what you call 'light' and what you call 'dark'.

Frostfur

She nodded her ivory dial, turning it to the pups and giving them an onward gesture. Her sapphire eyes gazed at Shadow, thinking almost the dame thoughts as him.

Pups: Asim, Ayanna, Kadi, Rima, and Nala

Asim led the group, for he was the only male. He considered it his duty, but sometimes, Kadi took charge. The five pups trotted timidly after their parents, keeping their heads low. The world was still so new and bright for them. Kadi pushed her greyish brown bodice past Asim.

"C'mon guys! You're so SLOW!"

She barked, lifting her dial up to the heavens.

Litharaz

The Shadow Haunter was out, looking for something or someone to terrorise. The american white shepherd paced through the Prairie, watching for any danger, but more importantly for anything to attack.

Kadi alerted Lith to the presence of the family. A malicious smirk slithered onto Lith's jaws, as he ducked low into the grass. He noticed their parents were in front, and how the pups had their heads low. Maybe he could sneak up and grab one while they weren't looking. Not to kill it, maybe he could kidnap it? Slowly and silently, he stalked the group. He wouldn't go for Kadi or Asim, as they were in front. However he did go for Ayanna. Slowly and carefully he came up close behind them as quietly as he could. Then, in a flash, he launched his jaws at Ayanna attempting to snatch her up without killing her. If he got her, he would run back to the Ruins, if he didn't he'd try again. He would take one of the pups, he was sure of it.

Shadow

The brownish-grey brute kept walking, his head high and alert of any predators. Unfortuanately, the wind was in Latharaz's favor, and he couldn't catch a whiff of the dog. He kept going onward, not knowing what was happening.

Frostfur

The white wolfess was closer to the pups, but still did not see or scent the approaching dog. She looked back once, but then turned her ivory dial ahead, toward Shadow.

Pups

Asim and Kadi were loping now, Rima and Nala infront of Ayanna. They all had grins on their maws of different hues.

Ayanna's drown pelt stood out in the grass prairie, so she thought that was why she was attacked. She hoped not to be killed, and was relieved that she lived. But, she found herself being taken to the Ruins without a sound.
