Sasha

The doe bounded into the field, keeping an eye out for humans. She grazed some tall grass away from the other animals.

Myrh, Ravenhoof, Denki, & Lavender

The rut was mostly over now, leaving the females free to travel about without worrying about the stags trying to keep them corralled in a little area. Mryh and Ravenhoof, two Axis deer who were in the same harem this year, decided to travel out of their territory for a bit. With them were their fawns from last year; Raven's Denki, and Myrh's Lavendar.

Ravenhoof, with her unusually dark hooves and lower legs, was the first to spot Sasha. She stopped in her tracks, and stared curiously at the stranger. "Should we say hello?"

Myrh, now catching sight of the mule deer, nodded to her friend, "I think we should. We don't have many mule deer in our herd anyway, and maybe she can join us." The strange herd they were from was consisted of several differnt deer species, most of them escaped from a deer farm.

Cautiously, Ravenhoof and Myrh began to approach Sasha, with their two yearling fawns following closely behind. Myrh was the first to speak, "Hello there. I'm Mryh."

Sasha

Sasha lifted her head. "Hello, Mryh." She said, "I am Sasha. I'm new to this land."

Myrh, Ravenhoof, Denki, & Lavender

"It's good to meet you, Sasha." Myrh replied, as her yearling daughter came forward to get a look at the stranger. "This is my youngest daughter, Lavender."

Ravenhoof was next to speak, nodding her head politely to the mule deer, "I'm Ravenhoof, and this is Denki." She nudged her son forward. The young axis buck looked curiously at Sasha before backing away behind his mother, being rather shy.

Ravenhoof went on, "If you have no herd, you're more than welcome to join ours. Will live not too far from here, actually."

Sasha

"Hello, Ravenhoof, Lavender and Denki." Sasha said politely. She looked at Ravenhoof and added, "I would be very happy to join your herd."

Myrh, Ravenhoof, Denki, & Lavender

She smiled, "That would be wonderful. I have to point out though- we have many different species of deer in our land. White-tails, fallows, axis, and red deer mainly. There aren't many mule deer yet, but you will be very welcomed in our home." Ravenhoof pointed out. "Come, I'll take you to our leader." The axis deer turned away from Sasha and began to head to the east.

Lavender smiled at Sasha, "Hi." She was shy as well, but not as much as her half-brother, Denki. As Ravenhoof left, the other three followed after.
