Ageni

Ageni trotted off into the distance. Her wounds no longer were bleeding and actually healing, but scars remained after nearly being eaten alive. Her cream colored coat swayed in the gentle breeze that swept through and her amber eyes burning in the bright sunlight. Ageni made her way through the grass feeling it sweep her underside. She was bored, and felt so alone at the time. She had no one to wander beside her. She needed some excitment. Her ears flickering in boredom and her head turning to the slightest sound.

She sat down, her fluffy tail wrapping around her petite paws. Her narrow jaws opened wide emitting a yawn, and clashing shut with a heavy scuff. Her eyes sparkling in the sunlight and her heart racing. Ageni peered up to the sky, as if waiting for something, someone, anything, or anyone to come. Something new, something to thrive upon.

Aderyn

The gray female was running about frantically, nose sniffing about, desperate. She came upon Ageni suddenly and skidded to a halt, barely missing colliding with her. Panting, she formed an apology. Sorry... I didn't meant to scare you. I just...

And she paused, for the female's scent hit her just then. Whoa... hey I know you don't I? And she closed her eyes, sniffing again, trying so hard to remember. After all, it had been when she was just a pup that they had met. Finally, she placed it, and smiled, tail waving a bit. Wow it's been a while. Ageni, isn't it? From the den during the war. I'm Aderyn.

Ageni

Ageni jumped to her feet, with her amber eyes widening. Her ears perked and flickering as the gray female spoke. She looked her over carefully in confusion. Realizing she wasn't going to attack her as many did she sat back down and a small smirk appeared on her muzzle with bliss.

Yes, that's me! Ageni giggled sweetly. She still had that sweet heart after all that has happened to her. She didn't have a single selfish bone in her body. She looked at her again trying to remember. I'm sorry, but I don't remember you... Aderyn. she said in a soft tone of slight disapointment.

Aderyn

She smiled a little at Ageni as she began to remember her more, and she spoke softly, not at all upset that Ageni didn't remember her. They were both so young then. Well, yes, I was quite young then. But maybe you remember my mother, Karai?

And the two-year old's eyes grew wide, suddenly remembering why she'd been in such a tizzy. Mama! I forgot! Have you seen Mama? She's gone, she's gone. Disappeared! We can't find here! Now she was worried again, whining quietly as she waited for Ageni to answer.

Ageni

Ageni felt so relaxed now, which she hadn't it quite sometime. Her smile widened to an old friend becoming a new one. She stood up at the name Karai. She remembered her trying so desprately to help Kali who Ageni knew was plotting at that very moment and still lost in darkness. How Ageni worried for so many, looking into the sunlight so her scars could be seen from nearly being eaten alive my the large cat hybrid recently.

She's in my pack, my parents pack if you don't know. I haven't seen her recently though. She's always trying to help someone. Ageni told her gently.

Aderyn

She shook her head wildly, voice still panicked. No, no, I've just come from there! She's not at Eytan's pack, not at Moon Spirit's, not at Aaka's, and not here. I can't find her! I've been everywhere I can think of. I'm afraid that Kali's kept her promise... And she trailed off, for she truly believed it. Kali had once sworn to kill Karai. They had thought that the dark pup had forgiven her, but who could tell with Kali?

She had no way of knowing that at this very moment her mother was trapped in the Labs, unable to recognize anyone she knew.

Ageni

Small growls grew deep ib her chest. Karai had done so much for them, and she knew what Aderyn said was true about Kali. She happened to know that Kali was currently plotting things from a source hidden rather well. Ageni turned her body around as if to walk off with the most bitter expression. It was unlike Ageni, who was the sweetest wolf around, but now bitterness was taking over her just like it has to everyone else.

I know where Kali is. We're going to have a little chat with her, and see what she knows about Karai. Kali is a dark, evil, and insane wolf. She's at the ruins with the Shadow Huanters or whatever right now. If we go at once we might find her. I'll meet you there. Ageni barked and trotted off. She would find out one way or another just where Karai was.

Aderyn

Aderyn smiled a little through the worry and began to trot after Ageni.
