Razzberry Blueberry Bayberry
The group of three siblings, an older brother, younger brother, and in-the-middle sister, galloping into the prairie. Their manes and tails were blown back and streaming in the wind with pride. The one in the lead, Razzberry, the oldest, soon slowed down to a halt, and shot his little brother a glance. "I'm sure there will be plenty to do around here." he stated to the colt, but in his mind, he was saying to himself over and over again that the place itself seemed pretty dull.
His red roan figure stopped under one of the very few trees that littered the area, and he looked out across the tall grass. As annoying as it kinda was, he enjoyed it as well. It looked tastey, too, with all of the color. Where they came from, it was short, evenly-cut, and green. They had never found any grass that was better than what they were used to the most.
Bayberry, the sister, trotted after her younger brother, nipping at his heels. "I highly doubt that..." she mumbled lightly in reply to Razzberry's words. He only gave her a quick side-glance before turning around to face his butt to the tree, and scratching his rump on it. "Ahh, nothing better than rubbing against a tree to relieve an itch..." he stated, shaking his pelt as he finished.
Bayberry slightly rolled her eyes, but in a playful manner. Her brother always acted like that; usually, anyway. Her limbs brought her bay roan form next to Blueberry as he stopped, and gazed around.
His black eyes took in the prairie, and his tilted his head. "Looks boring." he stated, sighing deeply. He bet there was no foals around here that he could play with. While he wasn't too much of a foal anymore, he still loved to play with others around his age.
He then got an idea, and gave his sister a playful nip and a whinny, before bolting off to run out over the prairie. He pushed through the tall grass that engulfed his limbs as he went, his dark blue roan body nothing more than a motioning blur in the colored grass.
Bayberry yelped out in surprise, but followed after him quickly with not a moment to spare. She was gaining on him, but he was already quite a ways ahead. The young stud soon started a circle to go back around Bayberry's side, and head straight for Razzberry, whom was still standing under the tree, watching with keen eyes. The last thing he wanted was some unknown preditor sneaking up on them, and what a better place for it than tall grass.
As Blueberry started back for his older brother, Bayberry turned sharply, and galloping right after him, muscles rippling under a shiney pelt of good health.
Tiamat
The three weren't the only ones aimlessly wandering the prairie. Tiamat was cantering around for no reason, looking to her right, when she heard pounding hooves. Her head whipped around, and she saw a blue roan flash galloping right at her. She squealed and burst forward, but not fast enough. Almost, but not quite. The colt rammed into her flank, and Tiamat was spun around, losing her balance. Her hind end fell to the ground, and for half a second, she sat like a dog, then scrambled up to all fours. She shook her head, sore from the impact.
"Sorry," was all she said to the blue roan colt. She wanted to gallop off so all they would see of her would be a black blur, but that would have been rude. So she just shifted her weight from side to side, waiting for his answer.
