INKNOSE
The medium-sized black brute trotted swiftly into the prairie, searching the land through keen orangish-gold eyes. His auds twitched at every noise, not knowing what this land had in store for him. Being a loner all his life, he had traveled the world instead. Yes, a traveling wolf. He had been all over the place, not slowing, it seemed. But here was a new place that had gone unnoticed by him, and he was captured by it.
Keeping his frame low in the grass, trying to stay out of sight, he snuck around, nose working eagerly. Who would he meet today? He didn't know, but he'de rather find them other than them finding him. A sigh slipped from his lips. He could scent many creatures, but he wasn't coming upon any of them. Deciding to stop and catch a quick break, he slowed to a halt, catching his breath, which was greatly needed for the rest of this trip. He wanted to meet as many animals as he could, while also trying to avoid the humans. That should be fairly easy. He usually didn't come across them, but if he did, he'de, of course, avoid them. He lowered onto his belly and rested his chin on his forelegs, breathing deeply. What a rather hot day, but this was great weather to explore in. It'de help if it wasn't so sunny, though, but there was a cool breeze somewhere; the tall grass was just blocking it from coming to him. He just rested there, somewhat exhausted, but otherwise feeling completely fine.
Moon Spirit
Her eyes were a hollow yellow as she moved silently through the praire. She kept up a quick pace, never slowing as she headed back to her home lands. Suddenly the scent of another caught her and she halted. Was it friend or foe? Wishing to investigate the pretty fae slowly stalked closer to Inknose, her eyes finding him quickly for he was a dark colored wolf to her pristine alabastor. She let loose a soft bark to him, letting him know she was there. She wouldn't hurt him. The broken mother was to exausted to cause the male any harm. But she could offer him a home. She missed having others in her lands. Being able to talk to someone besides your mate. Her children had grown and were all trying to find themselves now. Maybe her and Azul should have another batch of pups. She shook her head and kicked herself mentally. He probably would not go for that. She could ask though. A soft smile on her pretty lips she came closer to the ebony male and said softly, "Hello. I am Moon Spirit, sister of the feared Aaka and mate of the kind Azul. What brings you to these lands?" Her eyes were kind and unlike many did not appear decietful. She was to kind for her own good and one of these days, she would pay for her kindness.
