HAWK TRENT

Trent was in the lead! He was racing up that hill like there was bo tomorrow, trying so hard to beat his almsot identical twin racing after him. But there's Hawk gaining on him! The smaller white brother was trying so hard to reach the top of the hill first but his legs were shorter and he was getting tired from pushing so hard. The older brother had longer legs and was also pushing hard but he was used to stuff like this. He pushed a little harder and stretched out his legs to their limits and reached Trent's hind end. He grinned and grabbed his yopunger brother's bushy tail and yanked backwards. Trent yelped loudly and fell on his stomach, glaring after Hawk as he raced ahead. Trent scrambled to his paws and flew off after his brother but he was already at the top, standing proudly atop the crest. He grinned down at his brother and lifted his head in victory. Trent growled and shot up the rest of the way and rammed into Hawk which sent the brothers tumbling down the hill, laughing and growling all the way. When they reached the bottom Trent latched onto Hawk's ear and growled into it. The older white wolf just laughed and bit on his brother's leg and pushed Trent away with a shoulder. Then he yanked himself free and stood over Trent with a grin. The younger wolf smiled back and said, "Move ya big oaf. And that was cheating so I won."

Hawk smiled and gave his brother a friendly likc on the cheek before moving and letting him up. He shook his head and smiled before answering, "It wasn't! We never said that there could be no tail pulling, and I was catching up so I would have won anyway." Trent shook his head but just chuckled and stood up, shaking off all the grass his coat had collected. Then the brothers took off at a trot together, moving through the grass almost as one. It was like they were reading each other's minds because when one moved one way the other did too. Their long legs (though Hawk's are longer) matched the other's step for step. It was pretty cool to see them, moving together like that. But see, our borthers had been together since birth and had a very strong bond. Stronger than any bond they had with their parents. It was extrodinary really. As they moved they talked back and forth, occasionally laughing or glaring but it was all play. "So, are we gonna get a territory, Hawk?" "Definitely. So, you hungry? Let's go get something to eat." Trent nodded and they took off at a wild sprint trying to scare up some prey. Finally, their strategy worked, a pair of rabbits jsut like themselves ran out of thier hiding place and leapt ahead. Hawk and Trent looked at each other and then each took off after a seperate rabbit. Hawk chased his for a litle while and with one final burst of energy leapt on it and broke the rabbit's neck in his jaws. Trent meanwhile was having a little problem. His rabbit was fast, faster than him and he could see it running for some bushes that he couldn't possilby get into without taking a while and loosing the rabbit. Setting his face into a snarl he pushed with all his might and sped up putting on that final burst of energy as Hawk had. With a loud growl and caught up to the poor creature and snatched it up in his jaws. He also broke the neck, ending it's life quickly and mercifully. He proudly carried the rabbit over to Hawk who also held his in his jaws. The walked together to a nice spot in the prairie and then layed down together. They put their catches between their paws and began tearing into them, pulling off pieces of meat and swallowing them whole. The borthers laid peacefully eating, wondering waht would happen next.

Sooner, Veil, Rain, Akira

Sooner smelt blood in the air, rabbit's blood. The smell made his stomach growl. He howled to tell the others of his discovery, if they hadn't already found out about it. Rain, Sooner's sister heard him howl and sniffed the air, she could smell rabbit. She then howled just like her brother and took off in the direction of the smell. Veil, and Akira had already scented the rabbit or rabbits, and together trotted off in the direction of the smell. Sooner and Rain eventually met up and slowed down their pace, something had killed the rabbits, but they didn't know what had so they had to be careful. Veil, and Akira crept up on a pair of wolves both mainly white, and they were both males. Sooner emitted a low growl from his chest. Rain gently shoved him to shut him up so they wouldn't be discovered. Veil and Akira were closer to Sooner, and Rain than they thought, Veil heard the low growl and thought it was one of the wolves that had made one of the kills, yes they too were close enough to see the pair of wolves in front of them. So thinking they had been discvored Veil launched himself at Hawk the closer of the wolves, Veil tried to dig his teeth into the back of Hawk's neck trying to find the spinal cord and snap it in two which would paralyze the wolf, and Veil's attack would succeed if Hawk didn't try and free himself. Sooner shook his head at Veil's stupidity and shot out of his hiding place to attack Trent the other wolf Sooner snapped at Trent's face trying to blind or something. Akira and Rain walked out into the open and waited close by to help if the boys needed any help.

HAWK TRENT

The two brothers were sharing their peaceful meal together when Hawk lifted his nose. His face darkened as he smelled other wolves and he hurriedly gulped down a huge chunk of rabbit and then nudged Trent with his nose. Just in time too because at that precise moment Veil burst out of the grasses and jumped on Hawk. The older brother let out an angry snarl and twisted beneath the wolf, managing to escape the bite for his neck to get clipped by the teeth on his shoulder. A thin line of blood protuded from the wound and stained his white pelt with a streak of crimson. Trent launched himself at Veil before Sooner ran into the picture, completely dodging his attack. But then seeing his own problem he left his brother to deal and turned to face the other wolf. A low growl erupted from his throat and his eyes narrowed. He lifted the side of his lip, shwoing a row of glistening fangs stained red and then leapt at Sooner. His jaws went for a hold on the wolf's shoulder. While Trent was fending of Sooner, Hawk struggled with the wolf ontop of him. He snarled and snapped at his face and muzzle trying to ward him off. Then as he shifted his weight onto one side a place opened up for him to slip out form under his foe. He growled and took advantage, moving his bulk sidways. With his body free from the restrictment he launched his own body at the wolf, intending to knock into him with a shoulder and then grab a hold of the fur beneath the creatures neck. And to think, this was all over a pair of rabbits. Couldn't the idiots hunt for themselves?

Hawk growled deeply from his chest and snapped his jaws at Veil's neck as he shoulder rammed into the other's. Hopefully it would put him off balance and give Hawk the chance for him to grab his throat hold. Meanwhile Trent was grasping onto whatever he had in his mouth with all his might. He even shook his head a few times, trying to tear up the skin in his mouth and bring blood from the fellow. Both brothers sanpped and growled, defending their catches and trying to ward off the wolves. Go catch your own rabbits bozos.


 Sooner, Veil, Akira, and, Rain

Veil, continued to attack Hawk, that is until Hawk got away from him. Then Hawk rammed into Veil causing him to lose his balance‬, but he recovered before the wolf could really take advantage of it. But still Hawk got a hold of the loose fur on Veil's neck, it didn't really hurt him, but it caused Veil to lose some blood. Veil then snapped at Hawk's left foreleg, if his attack worked he would be able to yank Hawk to the ground, which would leave his belly open for attack, then Veil would rip out his guts.

Sooner saw Trent's attack coming and slid out of the way. Then he grabbed for Trent's shoulder trying to find the bone. While he was doing that he felt pain in his own shoulder and glipsed at it to see that his white pelt had been stained red, turns out Trent had managed to tear a really big gash out of Sooner's shoulder. Fury surged through Sooner's veins. He shook his back and forth and yanked on the flesh he had in his mouth, Sooner was now officially ticked.

Rain, and Akira grinned and waited for the right moment, to snatch the rabbits and get themselves and the boys out of here. But the wolves were fighting right over the carcasses, so they launched themselves into the fighting. Rain, went over to help Sooner, her brother, and Akira went to Veil to led him a hand. Rain went for Trent's stomach, attempting to tear out his insides. Also if the wolf turned on her Sooner would be there to help. Akira, waited to see if Veil would flip Hawk over, if he did she would go for his throat while he went for his guts.

HAWK TRENT

The battle was going badly for the brothers, it wasn't entirely fair because they had four and there was two of the brothers. But then lifes not fair so I guess we can expect that. Hawk snarled and as he pulled and began to move his jaws closer and closer to Veil's actual neck he felt jaws close around his right fore. He snarled louder and whipped his leg around, trying to free it only to get hurt worse. He began a chewing like motion, his jaws moving closer and closer to the wolf's jugular and hopefully that migth scare him into letting go of his leg. Because of his hold on the wolf's neck he wasn't flipped over only dragged slightly to the side. Hawk's eyes caught sight of Akira standing beside them, waiting for him to go down so she could team up on him with Veil. He gave her a disgusted look and turned his attention back to his attacker. They had to get away soon or give them the rabbits or something before they seriosuly got hurt. The two brothers couldn't hold out on the four wolves without help.

Trent meanwhile was being a cunning little thing. After tasting Sooner's metallic blood he grinned and let go, twisting away and there by avoiding Sooner's attack. He wasn't ready though for the female to jump in so it caught him off guard. He was able to move away some but instead of totally avoiding the attack, her jaws closed in on his back leg. He yelped and growled, then turned on her, his jaws snapping at her face, trying to make her free his leg. It was as if the brothers had a telepathic link for they were both thinking of the same thing, they needed to get out of this mess soon. They also had a plan thouhgt up, get away from the wolve's jaws, grab the rabbits if they could and high tail it. They would ahve stayed and fought but the brothers weren't in perfect condition and they couldn't fend off four wolves. Both boys tried to free themselves from their attackers. Hawk was trying to make Veil let go so then he could let go of his neck and then grab the rabbit that was jsut beneath his paws gettinng trampled. Trent would try and loosen Rain's hold and then grab the rabbit laying a half a foot away and run with his brother. Unless someone came to help they needed to get out. Now.

Sooner, and company

Veil felt Hawk's teeth inching and began to worry, but if he let go Hawk would likely escape. So he bit down on Hawk's leg as hard as he could, hoping to hear a snap indicating that he broke his leg. Akira saw that Hawk wasn't going to go down so she went for the back of Hawk's neck attempting to snap the spinal cord.

Sooner wasn't doing to hot all of his attacks were missing their mark. Luckily, though Rain, had grabbed Trent's leg to hold him into place but Trent turned on Rain. Rage, filled Sooner that was his sister that Trent was attacking! Sooner growled and lunged at Trent's throat., biting and tearing anything that his teeth could get a hold of. Meanwhile Rain yelped in pain as Trent's attack hit it's mark, his teeth tore at Rain's face causing her to lose her grip. So now Trent was free of Rain's grasp, but he was hopefully about to be hit by Sooner's attack. Rain whimpered and backed off, right into one of the rabbits! Even though she was in pain she forced herself to open her mouth and gently bite down on the rabbits neck so she could carry it off. The other rabbit was being trampled and Rain couldn't carry two rabbits at once, so they would either have to leave the other one or have someone else pick it up. Rain whinned to get Veil's attention, he needed to let go or he would die, and he could also carry the other rabbit besides he was right beside it. So Rain waited to see what would happen.

HAWK & TRENT

Hawk let out a muffled yelp as Veil's jaws began to crush his leg. He bit down harder on his throat, desperate to try and get him to let go before too much damage was done. Even if he didn't get the jugular Veil's air would soon be cut off because of Hawk's jaws closing around his neck. He then felt Akira's weight on his back and knowing where she was going for gave a wrench of his leg. Because Veil had tried harder to crsuh his leg that most likely meant that he had given just enough space for Hawk to tear his leg out of the animal's mouth. He tried to do so andjsut barely got it out, but not without getting a long gash all the way down to his paw on the front part of his leg. There was also a little crack as the bone slightly cracked under the jaws. He yelped youdly but took advantage of having a free leg and let go of the wolf's throat. Then before Akira could get a hold of his neck he snatched up the rabbit and howled to Trent before taking off. His legs carried him as fast and as far as he could go before he dared to look back.

Trent's thinking had been correct for Rain had let go after he attacked her face. What was there was a large place where some fur had been ripped out and a cut there. It stung but wasn't too bad. And as he attacked Sooner did also. But with his mobility back he threw up his neck and backed up, only getting caught with Sooner's vicious tearing in his chest. The skin was tore and it hurt a bunch but he was fine otherwise. Hearing Hawk's call and being free for the time being he high tailed it after his older brother. Both boys were battered and bleeding but were in okay condition were able to run. Once Trent caught up Hawk took off with im and the brothers ran side by side towrds their territory, one rabbit swinging from Hawk's jaws. Hopefully the other wolves wouldn't follow or would be too slow to catch up. Before long the brothers were long gone.
